It is a clean and comfortable hotel, in a great location near main transportation and close to the main attractions, by foot or using train stations within walking distance ( we arrived at the hotel by train also, as the station is less than 5 minutes walk). The area felt safe, and we returned with no worries after a night out. The beds are super comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily by a great team who was very helpful. The reception people were always available and could help us when needed. Below are three coffee and bagels places we enjoyed as a great breakfast. I would return.

Hotel is situated in a good location, close to the Times Square, Empire state, Madison Square Garden and we felt safe all the time... Hotel doesn't have breakfast but there are many places to eat near: Liberty bagels, Andrew's, Dunkin Donut, Starbucks etc Rooms are very spacious, clean and bed is great. The street is busy but not that busy that is too loud to sleep and you don't have to worry about that beacuse you will be so tired from walking that you won't hear anything :D

It would be good that room has glasses to drink (not paper ones) and also cups and spoon for coffee/tea when there's already kettle to heat the water.

Japanese hotel chain, amazing location - could not be better! You are 5 minutes walking from Macy's, Rockfeller, Madison Square Garden, Hudson Yards, Rockfeller, etc, etc., also 2 minutes from 34th metro station, that connects you everywhere. It's a brand new hotel, what is always positive. In general staff was friendly and available.

In our case the AC in the room was old and really noisy. We were told it will be changed in the future but for now was a bit disturbing as it was super cold so we could not turn it off. You can't open the window of the room (we were on 12th floor) - maybe it's a regulation? But would be good to air the room when you stay 4 people for 1 week..

The location is perfect, close to the subway, nice restaurants, cafes, and breakfast spots. The room is spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. If you are an Arab or a Muslim, you definitely will like this hotel because of the toilet as the toilets have a Shatafa so you can use water for cleaning. The toilet seat can be heated. Staff are very friendly.

It would be better if the room service provides water daily, but they have a drinking water dispenser on the 8th floor, so you may fill up your empty bottels if you don't want to buy water. It would also be helpful if they could provide a microwave to heat any meal you buy from outside. Parking in all the areas in Manhattan is a challenge as it costs at least 40 USD per night

My mom and I had a fantastic stay at this place, super comfy beds, very clean (room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and fresh bathrobes included) - our room was on the 9th floor and had no fancy view cause the window faced to an alley behind the hotel but due to that it was very quiet, no street noise at all. And you are in the heart of midtown! Super close to times square and Penn Station only 3 minute walking distance, Empire State Buildung just around the corner and 2 amazing bagel places in the same street. Biggest shout out to Steph from the front desk, she did such a great job and made us feel right at home - she gave us some print out restaurant recommendations on top! Thank you so much for having us!

Air Condition in the alley behind the hotel was very noisy but it did not really bother us

Location (close to Penn station, the main reason I chose to go there).

Everything was very basic, no coffee/tea or amenities in the room. The room was pretty loud from the street noises

Had the pleasure of staying at the Henn Na Hotel for the first time and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and exceptional service. The room was big for NYC. A lot of room. No water or amenities in room but Rachel, Stephanie and Jennifer were accommodating and helpful. Best Bagels next door open till 4PM. The best! What stood out was the dinosaur in the lobby. We were close to everything including the subways and loved the bar next door. Will be returning again as a guest and recommending to other friends and associates.

Great location - conveniently located near several subway stations and is walking distance to many midtown attractions. Facilities and room were clean and well-maintained. Price of the room was reasonable given the size of the room, features (including electronic bidet and closet steamer), and cleanliness. Staff was also welcoming and assisted with any requests.

Rooms on the lower floors are very visible to anyone walking or driving on the street below. There is only a thick roll down blackout curtain and no sheer curtain to allow for natural light to come in the room while also providing some privacy. I had to request a switch to a higher floor due to this and also due to the noise from street level which made it difficult to sleep the first night.

We arrived at midnight and checked in perfectly fine, the reception staff are really friendly. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for Manhattan and the bed is huge and comfy. The TV provides the option to cast your phone to it which is great. My favourite feature of the room is the lg steam wardrobe thingy which removes the creases in your clothes pretty quickly. We used it every morning whilst we had a shower and got ready etc. The rooms were clean, the shower was always hot and had good water pressure. We weren't brave enough to try all the features of the japanese toilet lol. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Penn. Station which opens up a lot of opportunities for getting around. We took the airtrain from JFK to Jamaica and then the LIRR to Penn. Station. We also took the LIRR to the UBS arena for the ice hockey. Other than that you can walk to all the main attractions such as times square, empire state building etc. Central park was about a 30 min walk. You can get a breakfast bagel from Liberty Bagels on the same street as the hotel, there can be a big queue after 9am but it moves quite quick. Overall our stay at the hotel was perfect albeit we didn't spend much time in our room as we were always out and about.

Nothing to dislike really. Would stay here again.
