Lovely, relaxed and clean property right on the beach, with the fragrance of frangipanis as soon as you step outside your room... The beach is perfect, not too noisy compared to the main beach further up, but still within walking distance of the shops and activities if you need them. Large rooms with nice furniture. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Breakfast is OK but somewhat basic. The air-con in our room pointed directly at the head of the bed so there was a chilly breeze blowing all night.

Great resort with wonderful gardens and the pools were lovely. Caroline was amazing and went above and beyond to help us with local restaurants and trips. She even arrange a cake for our anniversary, a wonderful surprise.

The disused jacuzzi pool needs some TLC and a clean up. The gardens are so well cared for it would be good to see that attention on the beach as well

I am a repeat guest... and will come back... so basically I like everything about CBTS/Frangipani Resort (except see below). The folks at the bar & restaurant are exceptionally kind and attentive.

The costs of nearly 3 thousand SGD for 5 nights... unfortunately I had to travel during LIMA. The breakfast, although well presented, lacks appeal for westerners and does not change / bear no surprises over a five day stay. As for Asian guests, the kitchen catered for indian, malasian and chinese palates, but didn't show variation either. If asked, I'm sure most guest would say that "breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about...". A hotel should want their guest to start every vacation day happy & invigorated

The resort is beautifully located by the beach, offering stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. It's perfect for relaxation. The eco-friendly concept of the resort is commendable. I appreciated the use of natural materials and sustainable practices. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The pool area was well-maintained, and the beach was just a few steps away, which was great for morning walks.

The Wi-Fi connection in certain areas was a bit weak, especially in the rooms, which could be improved for those who need it for work or entertainment. Basic amenities like a comb and shaver were not provided, which would have been a nice touch for convenience.

Beautiful set of individual bungalows in a tropical garden, all by the beach, not too far from “city center”. The site provides one large fresh water pool and a smaller salt water one. The property is clean and maintained. We enjoyed our home (partly sea view) which was the one we did book. The bathroom would need to be upgraded at some point, while outside shower is a nice exotic plus. Water pressure is good and air conditioning works perfectly. Staff is friendly and the Manager Caroline is actively present for a chat and help you with anything. There were some comments about jellyfishes: we have not seen any during our 3 days stay (February). The place is quiet and surely fits for people looking to stay longer. The in house restaurant and bar fulfills any humble need, while the breakfast buffet could include more bread varieties. Juices have a synthetic taste, but you can can enjoy fresh fruit salad. The beach is wide and shallow, which is an advantage for those traveling with small children. There are nice soft beach chairs and shadow spots for everyone at good privacy intervals. We would certainly come back here!

Everything was perfect for us. Just a minor improvement would be to make available tea mugs for breakfast. Tiny cups only at the buffet🤔

The resort surpassed our expectations with its exceptional offerings. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted by the experience. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to our tastes. As for the accommodation, it was nothing short of perfect. The apartment provided a stunning view, which added to the overall charm of our stay. It met all our expectations and more, providing us with comfort and convenience throughout. Furthermore, the staff deserves commendation for their constant helpfulness and kindness. Their attentive service enhanced our stay and made us feel truly valued as guests. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable retreat.

Promotion of eco credentials. Character surroundings. Rooms spacious. Close to amenities either a short walk or use of Grab for taxis. On site bar and food good quality. Staff very friendly. Ideal location for great sunsets and for exploring the island either by car or scooter.

More could be done in terms of reducing single use plastic. Provision of refillable water bottles would be better. Same goes for refillable shower gel and conditioner. On site gym adequate but could do with a little TLC. It does not seem to be cleaned and refreshed on a daily basis.

The hotel is well positioned, literally a stone throw away from beach. The area is clean and not over crowded with tourists and water sport activities, meaning I could really enjoy the beach and a piece of quietness. Even though it got busier over the weekend, the whole stay was very pleasant. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming throughout the whole stay, there's nothing I could complain about the service provided. The breakfast was good with a local touch, the staff are on top of collecting the empty plates and general maintenance, sometimes even collecting my half finished food, but I could not fault anyone being proactive. The security and maintenance staff are also very nice and helpful through the whole stay. I like everything about this hotel, and I could not recommend it enough.

Although the service and location is perfect, the facility definitely shows signs of aging, a retro lock was used for the beach side properties, if may feel unsafe if travelling along, especially, the properties are right next to the beach front. Even though the property is kept very clean, the showering and toilet can also benefit from some upgrades.

Location is strategic on Pantai Cenang, villa with sea view had easy access to the beach, surroundings were clean and well maintained. The Staff & gardeners were friendly. Room service was excellent, very accommodative to all my requests.

The front reception during check-in wasn’t good in providing us the necessary information & during check-in it was raining heavily, they provided us with umbrellas but didn’t come along to show us our villa, we were directionless under the heavy rain with a baby & toddler. Also, the villa bathroom had a bathtub without a shower head, the out door shower area is not so kids friendly.

- location - low season so less people and we got really nice room next to salt pool - we used only salt pool and it was clean - nice ekofriendly resort - not typical hotel but beach resort : like a family - thanks for Caroline guiding us with great local experience - egg station - good fridge even one

- we didn’t go for spa/massage since the lady who was working there didn’t guide us or gave us more info when asked. The feeling we got was not professional - the saw a snake in our room and that was not nice experience even it probably was not dangerous one. Our door was fixed to keep it out. - some pillows should be changed for new ones - there should have been more hangers in the closed and maybe more hooks to hangs clothes
