The location very clean & well looked after. Could hear a pin drop at night. Bed very comfy , shower hot. Breakfast continental this made a nice change, no B&E option. Parking no issue, the 3 min walk for breakfast not an issue. Very good was the amount sockets in the room & charging points. No kettle in the room, at first found strange but did get you out of the room to the communal area, (kitten & longe)

Communal area could have done with a microwave at least we could cook bing, bing food, Two nights out of the three we drove over to Fort Augustus (14 miles) dinner as nearest place was closed & other 10 min drive couldn’t get in due to being full. Shame as did have two really good kitchens areas with table & chairs.

The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The location within the rewilding project was excellent - lots of walks from the door.

This is more university hall-of-residence than hotel. The noise from doors slamming shut started at 0630 one morning - and boy does it echo throughout the building - and the soundproofing between rooms is non-existent. There is an open-air walk to the cafe for breakfast. The cafe provided only tiny expresso cups for breakfast - way too small for a cup of tea. I believe however it is still in its infancy and some small changes would improve it a lot - particularly sorting out those doors! I consider the price is very high for this level of accommodation. Perhaps best to regard it as a contribution to the rewilding project and enjoy the splendid surroundings?

The place is very new, clean and peaceful. It’s accessible for everyone. Automatic check-in was very easy. The bed was huge and super comfortable my backache was gone in 2 days :) Nice breakfast with glutenfree ans vegan options. The nature surrounding is amazing. In the night we saw the milk way with our bare eyes, the sky was unforgettable. The staff was very friendly.

It’s a bit too white in the bathrooms, gave a bit hospital vibe. The breakfast span could be longer (it was only 8 am -9 am). No toiletries or chair/something for sitting available. I think they expect you to sit on the communal areas which looked quite comfortable but we didn’t use it. The rooms are a bit small.

The stay was awesome, we arrived very late in the night yet no hassle in getting the keys. It's fully automated. Well communicated. The mattress was very clean, a very big bathroom with mobility fittings, great communal area. The breakfast was great and the staff in the cafe were very polite, helpful and generous. We were offered free coffee and cake (though we politely rejected it,as we had what we needed) , as the buffet had almost finished due to the arrival of a huge group.

We didn't see the microwave oven in the communal area, it would be great to have to reheat the food we bring from outside. We would like a mirror in the bedroom as well.

Loved everything about our stay. The breakfast was perfect -- a nice variety of options and at a reasonable time. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially as the communications regarding the reservation were not clear or complete with regard to the lock box codes. The decor was very soothing, and simple.

Three quibbles -- better communication -- I had emails from 3 different entities about the booking, about the codes, etc. It was very confusing. In the communal rooms -- I'm guessing there was no microwave for environmental reasons -- but that is a shame, especially as the cafe closes at 4-5 and those arriving might wish a hot meal without having to drive out after booking. The room needed more hooks to hang jackets/coats and sort of shelf in the shower in order to set down soap, shampoo, etc.

The location and new build accommodation is beautiful, the hikes around Dundreggen Rewilding Centre begin only a few minute walk from the accommodation. The accommodation itself is very clean, tidy, and user-friendly as there is virtually no contact with staff: upon arrival at any time after check-in, you simply type a code you received into a keysafe, and then you have your keycard for the duration of your stay. The breakfast that is included was good, no complaints as it was hot, fresh, and well varied, and in a very cute modern dining hall. The rooms are small but comfy, just the basics which is perfect for somewhere that you come to be immersed in nature and wildlife.

Beautiful location and facilities with breakfast served in a lovely cafe just a 2 minute lovely walk from the accommodation area. Great walks around to explore the wildlife. The accommodation was lovely and quiet with everything you need. The shared kitchen area is a great place to relax and meet with the other guests. Good storage and drying facilities are available for cyclists and walkers.

It was very cold our first night as the heating was off. Although it was June the temperature fell to 4 degrees. After speaking to the property manager the following day the heating problem was rectified and the accommodation.was nice & warm again. I really liked the accommodation however the beds take up quite a bit of room so there is not a lot of room to get out of bed but other than that very comfortable.

Interesting place! Very modern facilities in the middle of a forest. Slept here as we were return from Isle of Skye to see the Loch Ness area and it was an easy 1hr drive from the Skye bridge area, so location's good when you're between destinations or near Loch Ness . Rooms are tiny, yes, but considering it's aimed for students visiting and it provides large living rooms it is totally acceptable. Rooms are clean, showers are clean and modern and beds are comfrotable. Shared living rooms facilities include a kitchen filled with dishes, fridge, sofas, bean bags and a screen you can use to mirror your phone to watch something like trip photos. plenty of parking at your living area. Breakfast was good despite the small selection!

Rooms are not well isolated between each other I feel, we could hear the people on the other side when laying in our beds, which is not great considering the thick, industrial doors, it's a waste. Getting in the uilding was really weird, ended up using the back door, not front, to get in, as we didn't seem to have recieved a code for the door. Getting the keys from the keysafe was simple, but locating where we had rooms was confusing as we had to pass through the shared living room, a more logical map than jsuit the fire map should be made I think.

Inspired aims of Trees for Life and beautifully designed and built facilities. Friendly people working there. Excellent well signed walks in the trees and hillside. Very nice cafe with excellent food and lots of vegetarian options. Good coffee. Scots pines, oak forest and birch forest are lovely. Gaelic naming with phonetic help was useful and educational.

Not being able to recognise the gate at the start of a walk. I thought it looked like a no entry zone initially. (Soon learnt what it was). The main road entrance is difficult, fast road and not much warning in advance.

Set in the most beautiful glen with fantastic walks from the doorstep. The accommodation was spotless, cosy and with very comfy beds. The staff were friendly and the food in the cafe was really fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend staying here for at least two nights to make sure there is time to explore the walks as they were the highlight of my trip.

I got a lot (18 in total!) of emails from the Booking.com/Keycafe system which were confusing, but the check in system was quite simple when I got there.
