It was a lovely hotel standing in its own grounds by the side of a loch. The staff were exceptionally friendly providing a warm welcome. Dinner was excellent and we retired to a separate whisky lounge to relax and chat after our meal. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was fantastic.

We booked two double rooms. One was was fine, the other a bit smaller, with only one armchair. However since we were only staying for one night it was not a problem. This didn't detract from our enjoyment of this great hotel.

I adore this place. Family run business. They go out of their way to make you feel incredibly welcome. The food is fantastic. Beautiful location next to the Loch and they even lend you fishing rods to try your luck at catching some dinner. Lovely bar to relax in after dinner, living room with a cosy fire to have a drink before dinner and the rooms are really comfortable and clean. I can't wait to visit again!

I love everything about it

The meals at Corriegour Lodge are amazing! if you love fine dining with exquisitely prepared dishes this is the place for you. The flavours of the daily set menu are to die for. The decor and feel of this old hunting lodge, now private hotel, is comfortable and welcoming. The views of Loch Lochy from the dining room are as good as it gets.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, too much mattresses padding making a hot bed. In winter it would be lovely, but in spring not so. For early starters, the late dining with meals starting at 7:30 in the evening means a late night.

Fantastic place, comfy cosy and unique. Family owned and such a nice place. Food is fantastic and evening meal is a must. Michelin recommend with an awesome view. Location is wonderful, rural with fantastic views but not far to all sorts of places and walks. Has its own little beach on the Loch. Lovely living room for pre dinner drinks... wonderful stay.

Nothing to dislike.

A friendly welcome on arrival. Hotel located across the road from a beautiful loch with a small pebble beach - good for a stroll, otherwise a walk is a few minutes drive away. Charming decoration in bedrooms, very comfortable bed, lovely hot water & good shower. Dinner in the hotel was delicious. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Driving up this lodge, I already got a sense of warmth and homeliness. The decor and furniture gives the lodge a very nostalgic vibe which was so inviting. The hosts, Christian and Ian were so lovely and welcoming. I felt as if I had known them for years. The room was very well equipped and catered for all my needs. The setting is like that from a novel. It’s an absolute gem. I can’t wait to return.

Non applicable.

Fantastic food, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, lovely view over Loch Lochy. Breakfast ordered the night before and cooked to order, dinner menu offered at breakfast so you could choose whether to eat in that evening and you could look forward to it all day! Our bathroom had an enormous bath

Outside and reception area looked a little tired but rooms were lovely.

I absolutely loved our stay here! It’s a quaint, even quirky, hotel run by mother and son team, Christian and Ian. The food was exceptional, the service and welcome superb. Our room was comfortable, perfectly clean, and decorated, like the rest of the hotel, with vintage ‘collectibles’. Maybe not to your taste if you are looking for a sharp, modern hotel, but for us, it really delivered. Will definitely return.

Nothing at all

The area around the house is beautiful with an amazing little waterfall right in the backyard, the dining room has an amazing view of the loch and green mountains. The main host, Christian, is a true lady and gave us a very warm and homey feeling, staying late to speak with us and tell us fascinating stories about her life and help us plan our days.

Christian, Ian and all of the others involved that we didn't meet were super hospitable and offered a stay like no other. The hotel (circa 1880 from what we were told) was amazing with a collection of really impressive art and furnishings. Ian and his assistant's cooking was awesome. On checkout, having Ian regale my wife and I (at our encouraging) with his kilt-wearing adventures as a young man in many parts of the US where a kilt would be called a kilt a "skirt" was priceless. :-D The dining room had a beautiful view of Loch Lochy and impeccable table setting. There is also private (to the hotel) sandy beach access to Loch Lochy across two-lane A82. If we find ourselves in this neck of the woods in the future, we will be sure to stop in, at least say hello and hopefully stay a night.

Nothing could have gone better.
