Hoi An Blue River was an amazing place to stay while we where in Hoi An. The host was fantastic. Helped us organise tours and what to do whilst in Hoi An. Also booked for us easy rider, train etc for when we were leaving. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nice comfortable rooms. A pool to relax in after days out, push bikes available to rent out or motorbike and even breakfast with accommodation. Location was perfect. Walking distance to Hoi An town centre. The hostess was such a warm person. She had no hesitation in getting to know us and giving us some tips to view in Hoi An. Regularly checked in with us to see how we're feeling. Overall a lovely person! The location is also a big plus. Located next to the river, you have this calm feeling around you, you see the local children playing in the water, it's very enjoyable to watch. By foot it's about 15 min walk to the old town, you just follow the river. But we did rent a bike to have even more comfort

The water was a bit colder sometimes but I'm guessing this white western skin is you too demanding 😅

When we arrived we got a welcome drink and great information about the area and places to go. We got upgraded to the sea view room with a balcony which we loved. Breakfast was very nice and you could choose what you wanted from the menu. It was about a 1km walk from the centre and we enjoyed walking in and out each day. There are bikes available to rent onsite. Would definitely recommend staying here, and it is great value for money.

Wouldn't walk home alone at night as it's not very lit up, but this wasn't a problem for us. Air conditioning struggled during the day to keep the room cool, but it was lovely by night.

I recently had an incredible vacation with my family at Hoi An Blue River Hotel, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff was always ready to assist us with any request and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Overall, Hoi An Blue River Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, stunning views, and ideal location made our family vacation truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An!

The swimming pool was nice, but it could have been cleaner. The Wi-Fi connection in the rooms was weak when many people connected

We loved our stay at the Blue River Hotel! From the moment we arrived, Linh and her staff (as well as her young son) seemed invested in our care. They were very friendly and accommodating throughout the length of our stay. Each time we passed through the lobby, Linh checked in with us about our visit and asked how we were doing. Her recommendations for dining & shopping in the old town were spot-on. We very much appreciated her warmth and her hospitality. The room itself was spacious and cozy; the river view was an unexpected plus! Breakfast was simple and delicious - just what we needed for the long days gallivanting in the hot sun. We will not hesitate to return to Blue River next time we visit Hoi An. Highly recommend!

Not much to say here! We really liked this place. The hotel is located on a narrow path along the river. It is reachable by car, but some Grab drivers were reluctant to drive there. We found ourselves needing to walk a few minutes to the nearest two-lane road in order to call a taxi. This was only slightly inconvenient for us, but I can imagine it being a larger issue for others.

We booked this property 2 nights in advance and very happy with our choice. The room as nice and spacious, it had everything we needed. The owner was really helpful, she recommended us tailors with whom we then received 5% off, gave us bicycles (100k VND/day), recommended where to eat, what beaches to go to, booked a cooking class and bus tickets to Nha Trang. We also left some of our belongings in the lobby and she mailed them to our next hotel - amazing! Breakfast - we only had coffee and that was yum! Location - quiet and only 7-10 minutes away on bicycles from the busy centre of Hoi An. Definitely worth staying in this part of the city. The only issue is that our taxi driver could not find the property at night as it is a bit hidden off the main road.

We were charged 400k VND for 2 bags of washing - we thought this was too expensive and we weren't quoted the price beforehand. If we knew that it was so expensive, we would've only washed essentials. Bicycle rental on the second day was also 100k VND, although we only used it for 4 hrs. When we cycled back along the river, there were no street lights so it felt a bit unsafe. I wouldn't cycle back to the hotel from the city if I was on my own.

It is a really nice building, super clean and not too hot. Airconditioning was great and most importantly the host, Linh, is the nicest person ever! I got food poisoning pretty much my entire 3-day stay and she made me tea multiple times and brought me medicine. She checked in with me continuously and made me feel like I was at home with my mother taking care of me while I was sick ☺️. She helped my friend book a snorkelling trip which she loved and booked the bus to Mui Ne for us both, which also went perfectly. The breakfast was really good and they also made us lunch (for me plain white rice but my friend had a really nice fried rice). It takes a VND18000 ($0.80) Grab motorbike ride to get to all the touristic highlights, could not recommend this place more!

Pool looked a little dirty but since I was sick I didn’t want to swim anyways 🙂. I also think if you ask about it they refresh the water, we just didn’t ask.

From the moment I booked I was made to feel very welcome, with an offer to arrange transport from the airport (I'd recommend it as it is cheaper). Linh greeted me with a refreshing passionfruit drink upon arrival and discussed if there was anything she could do to assist my stay. Great local knowledge and arranged excrusions on my behalf, which was really useful. She's an asset to this establishment. There is a nice outdoor area with a pool and a veranda. Free bikes for use aroung Hoi An, which was mostly flat so a nice ride. My room was kindly upgraded to have a view of the river which included a modest balcony. Thank you to the whole team at Blue River for a wonderful stay.

Great little hotel by the river, away from the madness of downtown Hoi An but still reachable both by foot or bike or motorbike (both of which they rent out at the hotel too). Our room was spacious, with a balcony and a pool and river view and we enjoyed the river every day. We had a breakfast menu to choose from and the reception offered a lot of activities they could book for you. We ended up booking a diving/snorkeling trip to Cham Island with them.

Nothing to say. You get great value for what you’re paying.

The room was beautiful and very neat and tidy, and had a beautiful view of the river, great for sunrise. Everything in the room worked well and it was neat and tidy as for the bathroom too. They’ve got a pool on the ground floor grey for a dip when it’s hot. The staff are friendly and helpful, you can rent a motorbike or book yours from the hotel with great prices.
