Simple and luxurious, like a hotel room but in a homely place. Very comfortable bed and sheets. Gorgeous bathroom with lovely spacious shower. Nice to have Netflix. Nice and quiet. Lovely and clean. Loved the mini fridge with glass bottle water :) Loved the ease of check in and check out , so we could be flexible about arrival . Liked the key card to activate the electricity, very eco :)

Would prefer a non plastic coffee maker, kettle and not plastic pods etc ,but it was very nice and most people are fine with plastic. We normally get a kitchenette so I missed having a sink etc for that, however we knew that before booking, we knew we would eat out and most people eat out when away.

The location was fantastic to be able to park (assisted by the managers for a permit) and walk into York centre. Very comfy bed, air and blackout curtains, small fridge helped us a lot, big strong walk in shower best one in a week of travelling. Really good coffee machine and cool water, biscuits made a nice treat. Iron and mini board available (shared). Clear instructions about access and departure.

We had room 1 and the large sink in the bathroom is nice but set a bit high, that sounds picky especially when the shower is so good. Just that I’m short enough to have used the kiddie step stool (provided!) ! Overall no issues and likes the local location just out of town centre. Very walkable to the Shambles.

We stayed for one night on a quick couples trip to York. The room was lovely, really exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, very cosy, and comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than we expected and was clean with a big bright mirror, great for doing makeup. The big shower was a bit luxurious with shampoo, body wash and conditioner provided. Mini fridge was an actually useful size and there was plenty of space for luggage around the bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were above average with a Nespresso machine and kettle. The check-in process was really easy with all the instructions being sent via WhatsApp. I communicated with Karma about the parking and payment which was also nice and easy. Getting the parking was a great options, glad we took it. It was less than 15 minutes walk to York centre and an Uber back only cost about £5. We slept really well in the comfy bed and didn't hear a peep from any other guests. All in all a really lovely stay and if we come back to York as a couple we will definitely stay here again.

Nice modern room around 15-20 minutes walk from the city center, accessible by bus or walking. The room was modern, very clean and the bed was really comfy. The shower was nice, there was a fridge and coffee machine with plenty of hot drink options. The decor was modern and simplistic, it was a bright spacious room with good storage available. The air con was useful to keep cool. Large TV with netflix. We enjoyed a short overnight stay. We were able to leave our bags ahead of check-in. We didn't meet anyone but the staff seemed friendly via text.

The room was very bright from early, I think it needs blinds against the window to make it darker. TV was a little slow to use, it was really loud when we turned on and we felt bad disturbing other guests as it takes a minute or so to work to turn it down. The check-in was a little confusing as our key card didn't work initially, but this was rectified quickly.

The landlady provide great communication to us on how to enter the property and helped regarding parking. The location is around a 10 to 15min walk to York main boundary wall and then onwards from there a 5 min walk to York minster. The room was very clean with modern appointments: tv (netflix) small fridge which was stocked with some water and a also provided was a kettle and coffeemachine (coupleof pods left each day for guests) . Beds comfy and quiet location. Would recommend. York is such a lovely city.

Close to City Centre, residential area. Easy self check it (loved the digital lock - I want one of them!). Newly refurbished and immaculate. Very comfortable bed and a fabulous bathroom, the shower was great. No host on site but easy to reach if you need to. I messaged to request a late check out, responded quickly. Room is a nice size and overall a very comfortable stay. Had a fridge which was very handy. Couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend

All the information was sent prior to checking in, communication was easy and all the staff were fantastic. The room was lovely, had a king size bed which was very comfortable. kettle and coffee machine, a lovely shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The room temperature facilities were excellent. The parking was arranged prior to our visit. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone. It feels very safe with lockbox and door codes. Also the accommodation offers late check out if needed and available.

Excellent location - just a ten minute walk into central York. The check in and parking was extremely easy with very clear instructions sent in advance. The room was really well appointed with everything we needed and again, excellent instructions for everything. Really comfy bed, easy to control temperature, Netflix and a wonderful hot, powerful shower. Great communication from the owners at all times.

If I had just one piece of constructive feedback, I’d find a small unit under the tv useful as additional storage space but that’s been really picky.

Very conveniently located in quiet zone yet close to old city, the family apartment provides everything as per description. It has clean bathroom, and two separate rooms.

Smaller room was a bit cool in the beginning, but then it got warmer. I would recommend to share your requirements a bit in advance with very supportive host. The host could not provide second blanket for the kids since we asked too late - already was after 8pm when we realized that we need a second one.

The room was exactly as it had been described. No surprises. Communication prior to arrival was exceptional. Always answered msgs promptly. All the important stuff was fantastic, bed,bathroom, aircon, etc

Not really a negative, but a design fault in the bathroom meant it was hard to get your head over the hand basin. Maybe change the cabinet for a plain mirror. Not really an issue for a short stay.
