The room was very clean and very quiet. The bathroom was bright, and hot water was immediate. There was a good sized closet with plenty of room to hang things. Coffee/tea set up with cookies too. Nicely decorated, and a very comfortable bed.

It was fine for me, but there is no elevator, so this could be an issue for some folks. The only place to leave luggage after check-out was at the bottom of the stairs. Would be nice if there was a room to store them so they wouldn’t be in the way of folks trying to go up and down the stairs. But these are both minor issues. We were very pleased with our stay and would happily return.

We love this place! It’s the second time my daughter and I stay here. We came back for the perfect Marylebone location and the pretty and clean rooms. This time we met the new manager Blair and the lovely Jonathan who work in the bar and who both are just the sweetest hosts to all the people living at the hotel and to the locals popping in! 10/10 for a hotel experience with a lovely vibe! Also: the guy that met us at reception when we arrived carried all our heavy luggage (my daughter’s moving into a student house stuff) up to the room and the sweet cleaning personnel carried it all back down again when we were leaving! Very grateful for that.

Nothing to fault

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely and friendly, gave us all the information we needed. Could see we were in town for a concert and made sure to wish us a good time, room was good size, comfortable, nice smelling products to use in the bathroom. We were also given a discount to use at nearby spots for a bit of breakfast.

Only thing that would have made it 10/10 would be the ability to have breakfast at the hotel, but understand they only did lunchtime and evening food, I believe. But it was definitely a nice touch to give us a discount to get breakfast elsewhere. So not really much to dislike here!

We had a lovely two day stay, staff very friendly & welcoming. The property was full of character & our room had everything you could need. The room was quiet with a comfy bed, lovely white clean sheets & super soft towels which were changed daily. Plenty of sockets, charging points, fridge, coffee machine & little packs of biscuits were a nice touch. Our room was very comfortable & well thought out with some nice little touches like the light in the wardrobe that was on a sensor. Situated in a nice part of London. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was on the top floor which had four flights of stairs. Would have like a more secure place to leave luggage.

The location was great, the room was very spacious in comparison to other accommodation in London. The room was clean, I couldn’t fault it. I would definitely stay here again. A staff member carried our bags up the stairs and we were able to leave our bags there on arrival and departure which was great. Baker Street station a a few minutes walk and it’s about a 10 min walk from Oxford street in the other direction so very central. (Photos are taken from a video, that’s why they may be blurry)

The pillows were a little flat but that’s down to personal preference! As mentioned on other reviews there is no lift which wasn’t an issue for us but may be for others as it’s 6 flights of stairs to the top 2 rooms with approx 10 steps in each flight. Not an issue for us, just worth mentioning.

Location was great! I was slightly worried that it would be noisy sleeping over a pub but it was fine, the room was very large and good value for the area, nicely furnished. Great wifi - had to attend a remote meeting for 2 hours. Super comfy bed. Slept like a log.

Only small critique was the bathroom sink drain was semi-clogged, was a bit gross for activities like brushing your teeth. But given London's notorious plumbing dramas, at least it was the sink and not the loo.

The room was very clean and cozy! Staff were very friendly and as it's located above a pub, the convenience of having one last drink and heading up the room was fantastic. The room and the pub are very cozy and I didn't hear any of my neighbors! Location was perfect for my husband and I as we were primarily visiting our family who live less than a five min walking distance from gunmakers but it is also close to the main road that has waitrose and multiple cafes and restaurants.

We liked Gunmakers a lot! The only thing I would caution is that there is no elevator. We had only carry on bags and my husband was able to lift them up the flight of stairs (three flights) but if it was just me trying to carry them up, I would've definitely struggled.

Whilst the room wasn’t huge, it was perfectly laid out and there were some really nice finishing touches. It was really easy to control the temperature and we didn’t notice much ambient noise at all. The bed was big and comfortable with good quality sheets/bedding which does make a huge difference. The shower is also big enough for two 😁

There is nothing negative to say as they had all bases covered. Yes there are stairs but the super friendly staff in the pub at check in did offer to help with bags (which was kind but in our case not needed) You can have dinner in the pub itself but not breakfast however you can get 10% off at a few local eateries instead

The room was super quiet and we definitely could not hear anything from the Pub below us. The staff was amazing!! We were able to get in a couple hours early, took a quick nap because we had been traveling for almost 24 hours at that point. The bed was very comfortable, and when we got up decided to go downstairs for dinner. The food was excellent as well as the service. Would definitely stay there again

First and foremost the very gentle, assisting, smiley and pleasant staff. Location is absolutely convenient. Rooms are renovated, quite comfort and sufficient amenities. Very very clean. Good water supply, good WiFi reception. The bar downstairs to have your drinks even food if you like A very pleasant place to stay and enjoy London
