The location was excellent (close to Stonehenge and Salisbury, an hour and a bit to Bath), the host responsive and friendly. Comfortable bed. Sufficient towels. The breakfast hamper (which was topped up daily) and welcome Merlot were a nice touch and appreciated. Pub across the road convenient for an early dinner after travelling all day without lunch. Netflix, good wifi and parking a bonus. Nice warm room. Great shower. Lovely rural surroundings.

The studio was quite small but had everything we needed. There was a large damp patch on the bathroom wall that was always present despite the window being left wide open and fan operating when showering plus heat from the towel rail. The main room (which also included the bed), smelled strange, a bit like curry, despite all the incense sticks that had been burned prior to our arrival (maybe it was them?).

The junior suite was very nicely presented and was spacious having a separate bathroom and kitchenette. Ideal location for local places to visit or like us a stop of point when travelling further afield. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The pub across the road serves very nice food.

The junior suite has an adjoining door to the executive cottage. This is not necessary a problem (no handle so doesn’t open). However having someone else at such close proximity made our dog bark. I’m sure this was annoying for the next door neighbour as well as ourselves. Although it wouldn’t put us of from staying again.

Stonehenge Cottages are in the idyllic English village of Lower Woodford just 15 minutes to Salisbury and 6-7 minutes to Stonehenge. When we walked in as weary travelers we were reenergized by the charming and beautifully decorated executive cottage. Everything was supplied. Everything! For the US travelers you had every USB port you could eat at your because, W/D combo, perfectly acquitted kitchen, entertainment, books, fluffy pillows, warm towels all lit by flickering candlelight and serenaded by Alexa’s classical music channel. It felt like home only 4000 miles away. I would have booked longer than three days if I’d only known how wonderful it is. Bonus: I highly recommend choosing the breakfast pantry/basket option. I won’t spoil the delicious surprises.

We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and when entering the room it felt like a honeymoon suite. Such a tonic after a long day driving. The bath was fantastic as well!

Great location in a really idyllic rural part of England. Perfect to have the pub on the opposite site of the road. The Junior Suite was lovely and the equipment in the kitchen (plates, cutlery etc) sufficient for a one-night stay. We liked the idea of the breakfast basket, although we would have loved to find some cheese or ham as well.

The room got quite warm in the night as the air circulation (small windows) is not the best. But we have seen a ventilator in one cupboard which would probably do a good job.

The cottage was spacious and homey, decorated impeccably, and contained everything required to ensure a comfortable stay. There was a basket/hamper provisioned with treats and the makings for a lovely breakfast. The Wheatsheaf pub across the street was warm and welcoming and a great place to grab dinner and a pint. We stayed here for only one night, but would have loved to have stayed a week!

The only hiccup had to do with our credit card on file with booking.com not being automatically charged. That caused some confusion upon check out, however it appears to have been a booking.com issue and not anything to do with the owners of the cottage.

A truly exceptional place to stay, where all of our needs (and more) were thought of. A scrumptious breakfast hamper was provided which included fresh bread, juices, milk and eggs and lots of other delicious treats. The kitchen had a coffee machine which was a bonus and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was ginormous and the shower very powerful. Beautifully decorated throughout and thoroughly clean. The location was perfect, only a 10 min drive from all the places we wanted to visit. The cottage was opposite a great pub which served yummy food and the village it's situated in is quiet and has a brilliant walking trail (photo of the view on route). It was very dog friendly and also a practical place to stay with a dog too. We'll be back!

NA- it was superb!

Beautiful furniture and decorations, you can see the effort put into it. Nice breakfast basket that also gets refilled. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. The heat wasn't working when we arrived, but the host came and fixed it within 2 hours of messaging.

Wall to other unit very thin, hope the other guests recover from their terrible cough. Selection in the breakfast basket was a bit small. Payment process was a little bumpy.

The property is located in a pretty village but only a short drive to shops and local amenities when required. The property was ready when i arrived and keys were left for me so I had access to the junior suite immediately and convenient for a late check in! Delicious bread and eggs for breakfast with porridge oats and coffee. Delicious! Thank you!!

I wished I could have stayed longer but looking forward to returning to stonehenge cottages again.

This was a return visit to Stonehenge Cottages for us and it was even better than either my mother or I remembered! We parked in the private courtyard and let ourselves into the two bedroom cottage. The hosts had set it up with a lovely welcoming atmosphere with imitation candles, music playing on the TV, a welcome basket of food, and the dinner table pre-set. After settling in (and enjoying the complimentary wine) we headed just over the road to the local pub for dinner. The cottage has lots provided if you're wanting to just hang out - DVDs, books etc. The kitchen is small but has everything you could possibly need, with fresh milk, coffee pods, eggs, bread, fruit, cereal, croissants and more provided for breakfast. The bathrooms have eco-friendly shampoo etc provided. This is a fabulous space to relax in the countryside and is close to lots of attractions. Just fantastic and we would love to come back again in the future!

It's odd that the second bathroom is the opposite end of the living room to the twin room it services (the king has an en-suite) but that's no doubt a necessity due to renovating old buildings, and is the most minor of quibbles. Don't be afraid to really slam the door of the washing machine shut to get it to close properly (I was too timid and had to get assistance from the owners).
