Fabulous location, right in the centre of the town and adjacent to the Cathedral. Lovely, friendly staff, a nice room - basic but really well looked after and everything you could possibly need for one night's stay. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water in the shower, decent blackout on the windows (you are on a main thoroughfare). Fabulous location relative to all of the main sights of the City, Museums/Galleries etc, as well as the Cathedral. Great recommendations from front of house for restaurants. Car parking is Public, but it's 2 minutes walk away and if you're a guest at the hotel you get a discount, which is helpful. Really nice little cafe attached to the hotel, which is great for breakfast of a rest during the day.

Can't think of anything, possibly home to Zaragoza's smallest passenger lift, but that's about it!

The location of the facility is very good - just around the corner are the two biggest attractions: Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar and La Seo o Catedral de San Salvador. Breakfasts with a wide selection of hot breakfast dishes, fresh cold cuts, drinks and other good things. Spacious room, comfortable bed. The windows were on the street at the back so I can't complain about the noise from outside. However, the walls between the rooms are thin - and unfortunately you can hear what the neighbors are saying and doing. Bathroom clean - but the decor and equipment are a bit outdated. The only thing missing in the room is your own kettle to make tea (I was there in January).

No private kettle in the room. The fridge was not suitable for use because it stank.

It was a wonderful experience staying at the Don Jaime. 54. We were welcomed by an amazing staff ready to meet our needs. Our room was ready early and perfection. Loved our balcony and the beds were extremely comfortable. Location Location Location!!!! Don Jaime 54 is in the middle of all the most wonderful activities, restaurants and authentic shops and Taxis are always close by. We loved our stay there. Breakfast was delicious as well. Outstanding place to enjoy your stay in Zaragoza.

Excellent location to all the tourist sites and tapas bar and transport. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Felt safe. Buffet breakfast excellent. You can also leave your luggage if you arrive earlier than the checking in time.

Air con could have been cooler, due to centralised aircon. A little noisy due to location, but the service and facilities outweigh the negatives.

Fantastic staff, great restaurant, and the location is great just by the old town and the cathedral. The food is somewhat what keeps me coming to this hotel. I also love the restaurant staff, who always makes me feel welcome.

This time around, I booked a single bedroom and it was small. The layout is interesting though, with the bed by the wall making the room look bigger than it is. Some other properties in Zaragoza could learn a thing or two from this hotel. I also had trouble with the excessive noise that came into the room from the hallways and adjacent quarters. The walls are very thin and sleeping during the day is not an option.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and we had a super view into the plaza. We didn't have breakfast but very good coffee and cake in the cafe. The room was large and clean and we appreciated the fridge to keep our drinks etc cool. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

The only drawback we found was that the hotel is "centrally airconditioned". This means that the aircon is not individually controlled in your room, but rather from reception for a block of 8 rooms. The temperature in Zaragoza was in the high 30s so we did find it very hot at night. The hotel staff did try to help and we did feel that they took our concerns seriously but they of course have to work with the facilities as they are. This would not stop us returning but it is something to consider during the hugh summer months.

Position was great. In the middle of the old town, close to cathedral and walks along the river. Room was of a good size for overnight stay. Beds were very comfortable, shower had great pressure. Good breakfast was available for an extra fee in the restaurant downstairs. Restaurants were all within a couple of minutes walk from accommodation. This hotel was a wonderful find and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It's an older building, so it was a bit noisy at night. Would not put me off staying here again though.

Location was outstanding, so close to all the old city atractions. Breakfast was excellent as was the lunch at the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Better maintenance of bathroom facilities for example: cleaning the shower head, repair grout... A night light in the bathroom would also be appreciated. Safe was not operative although we did not call for help and manage without it.

The hotel is very centrally located, great access to main attractions. The staff was friendly. The price without breakfast was good. Big room, clean, basic amenities working well.

They did not answer booking message on a point on child occupancy which created a more complex situation (solved ok, in the end). We had to pay for child bed (which we used, in the end) even if some rooms had big enough beds for co-sleeping. Very noisy from the street even if room was facing a side alley. Very slow and small elevator. Little natural light.

Great hotel! Room was really spacious and comfortable, clean. It was well equipped and with a lot of natural light. The staff at the hotel was kind and attentive. The location of the hotel is amazing, just a few steps away from the Cathedral, and within walking distance to all main sights, restaurants, shopping area.

It was a bit noisy, as there are a few bars around it. I had earplugs, and it didn't bother me too much, definitely not enough the outweigh all the good aspects of the hotel. If you're sensitive to noise and can't sleep - keep this in mind.
