Because of all the excellent reviews that I read about Ring stone at the old city I booked my hotel there and I was absolutely NOT disappointed. From the first moment you enter the hotel you will be impressed about the beautiful style of the building which is a mix of traditional and modern one, it shows a beautiful harmony with the historical magnificent building of Istanbul . Rooms are quite, big. have fridge , electric hot pot to make coffee or tee. And the hotel generally super clean. The location is excellent , you can reach all the tourists attractions of the old city within a walking distance . If you don’t like to walk , Trams and Taxis are available. Around the hotel there are a lot of Restaurants, spa and wellness that famous with Turkish Hamam. Within a walking distance you will reach the sea with all it’s Restaurants and bosphorus cruises . The staff of the hotel are such helpful, friendly and they received you always with beautiful simile. The communication was perfect . From the moment of the check in till the check out they are doing their very best to make your stay comfortable. I have the pleasure to meet Tatiana the manager of the hotel and she is the source of this creative and warm way of dealing with geusts and with her own staffs. Everything was perfect, so wish I could stay longer

If you travel as a family, that’s the perfect hotel to stay at. I booked several rooms for my whole family, including the king room with balcony. The king room was the meeting point for all of us. I have already made a review on the king room, so here I just focus on the standard double room where I stayed at. The standard double room is spacious for a couple. In the room you’ll find: a refrigerator, an electric kettle, some tee and coffee, bottled water, tv (with many Turkish channels, also kid channels), hairdryer, bathrobes, fresh towels and slippers. Breakfast: Vegetarian friendly with some vegan options like fried mushrooms and baked potatoes (delicious), fresh salads, olives, fresh bread, and a wide variety of fruits. Along with the normal filtered coffee we enjoyed freshly made Turkish coffee. Turkish tee was tasty too. For sweet tooth there was a good variety of yummy pastries. The kitchen crew bought some vegan milk specially for us. Bathroom had both overhead and handheld shower. There were shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Staff: Everyone in the hotel was helpful and attentive. I needed a smaller pillow, it was immediately provided. I slept well :) we asked for some wine glasses on several occasions and the staff was so nice to bring them directly to our room. On arrival we received detailed information about the most important sightseeings and useful tips for special locations in the city. We used the hotel transfer several times, it was very convenient.

Some friendly suggestions for improvement (might be already fixed by the time you book a room): Some more wall hooks for clothes and bags would be nice. A bedside lamp would be convenient.

The hotel is amazing and rooms are even more beautiful in reality. We stayed in a family suite and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly, helpful, with their smile on their face and supportive. We were celebrating our son's birthday and they surprised us with a big cake! We felt realy welcomed and important as guests. We definetly recommend this hotel for their premium services and facilities. The location is great, very close to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque and also to Grand Bazar, shopping streets and terraces. Excellent experience!

Amazing hotel, amazing people who work at the hotel, veru clean,10 minutes walk from the Grand Bazar and Moschee. For sure we”ll stay at the same hotel next time in Istanbul.

Location, staff, breakfast. We traveled with our 5 yrs old son, and the stuffs were very helpful to make our stay comfortable. We took an early morning cab and to our surprise, Sulaman had packed small breakfast boxes for us. The trips booked by the hotel was very good

There is nothing not to like about the hotel. Its just the location is prime so the restaurants nearby are pricy

The location of the hotel was amazing, very close proximity to all the tourist sites. About a 5 minute walk to aya Sofia and the blue mosque. The area is also really lively. This is my 5th time in Istanbul and this is the best hotel I have stayed at! The staff were really lovely and accommodating, definitely recommend :)

Absolutely wonderful hotel! We booked one of the superior rooms, which are spacious, clean, and have amazing views. It was my birthday week so we splurged and opted for a room with a view of the water. Wow! The room had a terrace with outdoor furniture which was perfect for evening drinks and morning coffee. The front desk took note of my birthday on my passport and they kindly surprised me with a treat, what a lovely surprise and gesture. The manager, Tatiana, and all of the staff (front desk, bell boy, and cleaning staff) were all very friendly and accommodating. We extended our stay by one more day and on our last night we stayed at the same hotel in one of their standard rooms, also very comfortable and spacious with a nice view overlooking the Roman ruins located on the property. The location can’t be beat. It’s a short walk to several of the sites in Old Town. I will definitely stay here again on future trips to Istanbul.

The staff in this hotel are phenomenal, never have I met a more engaging, caring and supportive bunch of hotel staff. Nothing was too much to ask no matter what hour of the day you asked it, they would all go above and beyond. Their passion for hospitality and their city was incredible too. The hotel itself is grand, and spotlessly clean, it was once a bank and the vault doors remain in place. The rooms are spacious and the secondary bed in a family room was an actual bed rather than a sofa or murphy bed like so many other hotels. Decoration was modern with classic features and we even snagged a view of the Bosporus with a mosque in front of it. Outside our room was a huge window looking down onto an impressive set of ancient Roman ruins. We didn't try the breakfast as this didn't represent the greatest value on offer (as you expect of a hotel breakfast), but the dining room looked busy and comfortable each morning. Given proximity to the Iranian consulate there is a 24/7 police presence outside the hotel, that and being a bank I can't think of anywhere safer to stay. Two doors down from the hotel is an amazing, historical, Hammam which was much needed after the miles of walking around the wonderful city. I will finish as I started, the hotel is beautiful and a gentle 5 minute walk from old town makes it less noisy which is fantastic but what makes this place is, without a doubt, the amazing team of staff here - thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

I have to dig deep to find a negative, really deep, the worst thing i can think of, I did warn this was really deep, was the toilet role holders. Both their location and general structure were less than ideal and made it uneasy to use.

The location is absolutely stunning and so is the staff. Very big and equipped rooms and very good breakfast

A beautiful little hotel in an amazing location. While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic (a lovely room and a small restaurant open for breakfast only) it still packs a punch in service, location, cleanliness and the way their staff bend over backwards to assist you. The team helped us in lead up to our arrival with airport transfers and organising a private walking tour, they organised a lovely private boat cruise of the Bospherous, a booking at the 300-year-old Hamam next door (a must do) and were available at all times during our stay to help with any questions. You can't really get too much better for location either - every main sight is only a few minutes' walk away as well as many restaurants close by.
