The property was great with a lovely atmosphere! The staff and their hospitality was incredible and the breakfast was amazing! They could not do enough for us after a full day of travelling and we appreciate all their hard work.

Beware that booking.com do not send the room that you booked on their website over to the hotel and only give details of what is required, subsequently the room you book is not what is received through no fault of the hotel. It left the hotel manager and us scrambling to sort a room at 10pm at night with a young disabled child.

A fabulous hotel in a great location. We stayed in the deluxe double room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the en-suite bathroom had a shower and bath. The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. A basic breakfast of ceral, toast or croissant was included but you could order a full English if you wanted. The sausages were from a local farm shope and were very tasty. The pub had a music night booked which we were made aware of but the music stopped at 11 and was not loud enough to stop you sleeping. Staff were very helpful, friendly and informative. I booked through Booking.com and they double booked us. Luckily it was sorted straight away but next time I will contact the venue myself to confirm.

Really lovely rooms, parking, great and friendly staff, everything we needed and loved the style of our rooms.

Rooms beautiful, bathroom clean and functional but maybe a little lacking compared to the rooms - having said that it provided everything we needed. Pub wasn’t serving food (it was a very quiet week night) but we’re happy to recommend another local pub that was delicious.

Friendly and Helpful Staff. Breakfast was delicious only "criticism" is Baked Beans in their own pot stay very hot! More of it would have been even better but then I do like a Big Breakfast to set me up for the day! ;-)

Silly little niggle but to unlock my room (Room1) you turned the Key one complete revolution in the lock! However to successfully get it to lock when leaving the room 2 complete revolutions were required! Good job I always check! ;-)

10/10 stay! Perfect for a family travelling with a four legged pal. The staff and locals make you truly feel at home and the passion of the owners shines through throughout. The rooms have recently been refurbished with a huge king size bed and lovely amenities. The shining star is the local food at the pub, the local produce is amazing and you feel like you're really investing in the local area. There's also an amazing farm shop vending machine outside with local milk, such a clever idea! We'll be back.

Nice old building with lots of character. The couple running the pub/hotel were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food we had from the restaurant was home cooked and good value for money. The other bonus was the electric car charging points in the car park.

There wasn't anything to dislike if I'm perfectly honest. It's an old listed building so we knew what to expect.

We were given a standalone "apartment" which meant that we had our own front door so we didn't need to worry about late access. The Chef I believe was also the person checking us in and he was super friendly and helpful. It was a simple place, but a very comfy bed (my main criteria) and a very big modern telly which was nice. Tea and coffee facilities a bonus in the morning.

The location is excellent as my husband had to be at the hospital early the next day for an operation at the New Hall hospital so it was only a five minute drive away. The room was big and the bed big and comfortable. The owners have only been there a short time and they are improving it all the time. Very friendly and welcoming. We didn't have time for breakfast.

The staff were very welcoming and explained all the facilities to me. I was asked if I was eating in which I thought was very nice so I had a look at the menu and chose my dinner in advance. The room was comfortable big and spacious. WiFi had a good signal and telly was a decent size. The bed was comfortable. Overall a good night stay at The Bull Hotel.

Well positioned for walking the Avon Valley Path from Salisbury to Ringwood in three sections and returning by the X3 Bus. Nice warm and welcoming place to return to each day. Simple breakfast with fresh fruit each morning.
