Very easy to access all tourist areas from the apartment! Clean and well maintained!

Very hard to find the apartment entry upon arrival - not well marked and when we called Booking they weren’t familiar with the property and we’re not helpful. Add the photo below to the website so people can find the door.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress needs replacing. The pillows had no protectors under the slips. I found this unhygienic personally. The bath towels need to be at least one bath sheet offered for taller people.

Loved the apartment and the amenities provided. It met all of our expectations and was nicely decorated

A Lift was definitely needed. There were 58 steps up to the apartment, and we are in our late 70's. Carrying suitcases and dealing with very steep steps was a real detriment to us. This was our only criticism as everything else was wonderful

Great location with a spectacular view. Train station was just a 10 minute walk. Lots of great restaurants, attractions & parks to walk to. Washer/dryer was the cherry on top!

Hated all the stairs to the second floor, (actually like climbing up to the third floor)especially with luggage for an extended trip.

I loved the central location of the property! The apartment was everything we needed, we were able to self cater on the nights we didn’t eat out. Central enough to walk to landmarks, theatre, station and out for dinner! Perfect!

Room code for front door was same as apartment, it was unclear what floor initially we was on. The property was easy to find as had Google mapped it. Perhaps more details in the email about what to do upon arrival would be more helpful.

A spacious, well located apartment that is easy walking distance from Waverley station. It has modern furnishings with extremely comfortable beds and is very quiet.

We were on the fourth floor and there was no lift so it was difficult to get luggage up the stairs. Would not suit anyone who was physically challenged.

Our experience was absolutely perfect! The night before our arrival, a major storm hit Edinburgh, leaving many homes without power, including the one we had originally booked. The hosts handled the situation exceptionally well—they informed us in advance and arranged an alternative accommodation in another of their properties. The new place was spectacular—spacious, comfortable, and incredibly well-equipped. Despite the unexpected circumstances, they went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. We truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay with them again!

View from our window, clean and soooo spacious for our family of 5. The lady who checked us in and out was AMAZING. We were given a late check out due to lateness of Castle tour thank you so much. Will definitely stay here again.

The stairs, be prepared as there is NO LIFT as explained in the booking details. Also if you are driving you get harassed for parking outside the door as it’s a taxi rank. Park 100mtrs up in the street car park free after 6:30pm until 8:30am the next morning than you have to pay street parking.

Superb location. Lovely rooms and easy access with great communications from Destiny Scotland. Their website/emails and app all added up to a very carefully thought out customer experience. It was a delight NOT to be in a hotel, instead to relax in a spacious apartment and come and go as we pleased. Classic decor in these high ceilinged spaces and fittings of a high quality gave them a touch of class. The shower was hot and had a good pressure, the toiletries were very nice and the pods left for the coffee machine on arrival were a nice touch. While we ate out except for breakfast, a family could easily self cater with the well appointed kitchen which includes a dishwasher and washing machine. We'd recommend this apartment and would willingly stay there again.

Overall, it worked out quite expensive for an off season stay but we didn't make full use of the facilities. Our own fault really. Some might find the lack of a lift an access issue, but they make this point very clear in their communications. No problem for us at all. Some bath robes would have been welcome.

The staff were not at all helpful or gracious when it came to discretionary aspects, e.g. accessing the apartment a bit earlier (though it had already been serviced!); unfriendly persistent knock on the door at 11.02am on departure day by serviceman: "11 o'clock flat finish, you out now". - Hardly any privacy: The offices at the back have a great view into the flat. Blinds need to be pulled down most of the time, so quite dark. - Doors banging at all times, bottle bank nearby, quite noisy in the evening (from pub next door deposing of their glass). - No elevator in the building - almost 60 steps to third floor apartments. - Suitcase rack missing.
