Location was great, staff were friendly and always on hand to help, view from window was lovely, we didn’t have breakfast but the outdoor area to access it looked beautiful - overall very good!

There was no elevator, the tv stopped working midway through stay (we weren’t there much however and so didn’t bother staff to come fix it), the AC was extremely weak and the shower head holder was broken and therefore had created a huge crack in the floor of the shower where it had fallen off previously, meaning that the issue had been like that for longer than our stay.

We were in a basement room. At 11pm, a light came on right outside our room. We were told it was the linen company restocking. Their "shed" was within 3 feet of our window. So, noise & light woke us up.

It was really close to two different tube stations. One the district line and the other Piccadilly. Very easy to walk to. Felt safe as a females solo traveler. The breakfast was alright if you want to pay. Otherwise short walk to corner shop. Or cafe. The staff were nice and helpful as well.

My room was small. And I mean small. Granted I probably payed for the cheapest one but still a little pricy for what I got. The bathroom was pretty good tho always clean.

I was immediately very impressed upon arrival at how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The hotel is very easy to find - just a short walk from West Kensington tube station. It is also very close to Baron's Court station which is excellent for heading in to explore town. I got back to the hotel late after seeing an evening comedy show but I was once again cheerfully greeted by the staff who were more than willing to pour me a Jack Daniels as a night cap. The bed was comfortable in my clean room and the water in the shower was plentiful and hot! I did not think that £112 for the night was too bad given that it was London and I was able to check in at 13.30, which was a huge bonus. I dropped my bags off in good time and headed out to explore.

I left my window open a tiny sliver so I was aware of the traffic noise outside during the night. Also, there was a bit of work going on around the hotel which might have been a nuisance if I was planning to have a significant lie-in.

The staff were extremely friendly. Check in was simple and they checked us in early which was amazing. We also overslept and they did not charge us a late fee - though they explained they could not always do this that it was possible this time. So when they can give a little, they did. The staff always greeted us when we came in and they were always at the desk no matter what time: The hotel was value for money and the location was excellent. A 5 minute walk to West Kensington to district and circle lines and a 5 minute walk to Barrons Court to the Piccadilly lines meaning we had direct access to the city. Picadilly line also does a direct train to Heathrow meaning the hotel is accessible by the underground directly from Heathrow. The room has excellent aircon as well and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was always clean and the cleaning services were flexible and prompt.

The hotel is excellently located in a nice, clean, safe neighborhood with elegant Victorian terrace houses. Sir Henry Rider Haggard, the famous English adventure writer (1856-1925) lived in the house across the street. Very quiet street with a beautiful public memorial garden at one end, close to the hotel. Worth spending time there. There are some food shops, a Sainsbury's Local, pubs (Three Kings) and cafes nearby. It is very close to two main underground stations: Barons Court and West Kensington, on Piccadilly and District lines. Just 30 minutes from Heathrow Aiport, Terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5, taking Piccadilly Line to Barons Court, trains every 10 minute. Pay with credit card, it is cheapest. Only 15-20 minutes by underground to St. James Park, Westminster, Covent Garden and other central London attractions. Very close to Olympia Exhibitions Centre, 10 minutes walk, convenient if you attend an event there. Very pleasant double room at the first floor, quiet, excellent shower, good bed. Good optional breakfast. Homely environment. Always someone at the reception desk to greet you and sell you a cold beer. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Being an old building, there are narrow stairs up and down and no elevator. There is no fridge in the room and no mosquito net at the window which might be unpleasant during summer.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the metro station, which made getting around very convenient. The room I stayed in was newly refurbished, with a modern and pleasant look, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for London, and the room itself was very quiet, perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. It’s also nice that check-in is available from 13:30h if guests can take advantage of it. The team at reception was very friendly and kind.

The only minor issues were that the Wi-Fi signal was sometimes weak in my room and that check-out is a bit early at 10:30h.

Great room with air con which was needed during the recent heat wave in London. I thought I’d booked a twin as I was sharing room with my 14 year old son. When I turned up I’d actually booked a double which wouldn’t work. The hotel swapped rooms for us at no extra cost. Great service as I did not fancy sharing a double bed with my 6ft teenager who doesn’t sleep. Great location near both Baron Court and West Kensington. We walked to South Kensington from the hotel. Lovely walk.

They are having some renovations in the garden and as we were on the bottom floor we had lots of work going on outside our room. But it meant we got up and out to see some more sites.
