Our stay at this wonderful property exceeded all our expectations! The room was simply superb – comfortable, cozy, and warm, with beautiful decorations that made it feel like a true home away from home. We absolutely fell in love with the pergola and the charming small waterfall, such a delightful touch. Alice and Andrew were incredible hosts, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Alice even booked us a table at a nearby pub, as we arrived late on Friday – just wow! The breakfasts though! Delicious, with locally sourced food, and even our picky toddler enjoyed them! We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return.

Perfect stay. I don’t write that lightly and it’s not an exaggeration. Andrew and Alice are fantastic hosts and a wonderful couple. They both know the area very well and their recommendations for food, routes and walks are spot on. The property itself is idyllic. Easy to get to as it’s on an A road but the garden (which is lovely) has several tall trees which give it a secluded feel. The area around it is gorgeous. The pub next door (the Old Beams) but one is lovely on the outside and the food is outstanding. Alice also very kindly rang ahead and let them know it was my partner’s birthday and they arranged a “Happy Birthday” dessert platter, which was incredibly kind. The breakfasts are equally fantastic. Local produce and cooked to perfection, with plenty of it. The coffee served at breakfast and in the room was likewise awesome. Will recommend to literally anyone who will listen and hope to stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Thatched Eaves B&B, it is a magical place. Alice and Andrew are very thoughtful and friendly hosts, their attention to detail is amazing. The location is perfect, on the edge of the New Forest, close to forest walks and cycling, plus a village pub right next door. The Thatched Eves coach house is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was very well equipped and there is lovely outdoor seating area. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of fresh tasty dishes to choose from. Thank you Alice and Andrew for a lovely stay.

We had different breakfasts, and they were all wonderful. The location is perfect for a long weekend escape, near the coast and lovely towns. Our room was always impecable, with everything working and in great condition. Alice has great attention to detail and is always finding ways to make your stay even better.

The bed was too hard for my liking because I'm used to a softer one.

Cosy suite in a lovely setting worthy of a storybook fantasy. The breakfast was delicious - we had the Full English on our first morning and varied our choices on the second day to lighter options (we were due to meet family for an early lunch). The bacon and fried egg sandwich I had and the avocado, chilli sauce and poached egg on toast my wife had were superb. Alice and Andrew were attentive to ours and other guests' requirements without being intrusive or rushed The general feeling was one of being able to take one's time, enjoy the lovely food and soak up the surroundings.

It's not a big deal, but I was a little concerned that the shower tray seemed designed with insufficient fall and spilled water onto the immaculate wooden flooring in the bathroom despite our best efforts to avoid that. I meant to mention it to Alice or Andrew but the next conversation we had went in an interesting direction and it slipped my mind. Overall, the worst part was having to leave :)

Perfect weekend escape for couple. Super private, comfortable, very clean, 5 star experience stay in the middle of beautiful nature. Amazing breakfast served by incredible hosts. Great surprise was to experience Michelin level dinner experience in pub Old Beams, next door to Thatched Eaves. Very short drive distance to Burley, from where can explore New Forest.

We wanted to be away from everyone so loved the individual, private accommodation. We felt away from everyone. Everything you could possibly want has been included. Breakfast is delicious, I loved the local smoked trout. My husband loved the full English. Alice and Andrew are fabulous hosts.

we loved everything! from the moment we arrived at this perfect beautiful property & the lovely Alice greeted us we knew we would love Thatched Eaves. Alice & Andrew have thoughtfully planned the accommodation with super detail. The additional services they offer such as drinks, stunning cheese & wine & nibbles options are all great. location brilliant right on the edge of the heart of the New Forest. Breakfasts are amazing, bed very comfortable, what’s not to love!

there is absolutely nothing not to love.

the property was gorgeous, the main house and grounds were immaculate and as it was Xmas time it was all lit up beautifully. the suite we were staying in was cosy and very comfortable. the shower was great and we loved the outside area that was covered and heated! Everything we needed was there. A fridge with water ans fresh milk was left daily as well as Tea and coffee facilities. our 2 dogs were also very happy there as they could roam outside our room safely. we would like to go back again soon! A big thank you to Alice and Andrew for their delicious breakfast and very cute Breakfast room!
