Excellent customer service, I arrived in Ravenglass a few hours before the 3pm check-in time, so cheekily asked if I could check in early, the young lady who greeted me at reception couldnt have been more helpful, she was genuinely friendly and a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. . The room above the inn was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view across the bay was stunning The hot chocolate sachets were an added bonus 😋 Ravenglass is the perfect place to be if you're looking for peace, quiet, and solitude. I Ravenglass is a fabulous base for exploring the western lakes and all the beautiful locations along the coast. You also have the wild and rugged wastwater and Ennerdale water with the mountains towering above if you want to hike and if youre up for exploring, there's also a few hidden gems if you know where to look 😉 I hope to be returning very soon Thanks for a wonderful stay ❤️

The view from the room was amazing, the sky and sea changed constantly updating the panoramic from the three windows, and having the very comfy sofa to sit and enjoy it was fantastic. Breakfast at the Pennington hotel was very good, and we had both evening meals in the pub below the room, which were excellent.

Access to the room was through an area not owned by the property so they have no control over it I guess, but pretty untidy back of a pub with overflowing ashtrays, and beer kegs, not a great look, forgotten about once you get into the room.

Pub beneath the property was very warm and welcoming but nothing to do with the room we rented..

Breakfast was extra cost and based at the Pennington Hotel 50 yds away from room. Not worth the cost of £14. Steep outdoor stairs and had broken light above stairs and potential hazard. Bulb was reported in the Inn but they are nothing to do with room rental. Informed the Pennington Hotel and it was replaced once we asked. Outdoor area was a little unkempt and could do with a spruce up.

The estuary view from the room is beautiful. The room is huge, the bed is very large and comfortable. The settee ideally placed to enjoy the view is so comfy. There's a fridge (which wasn't mentioned) which was great for cooling beers and milk. Room is run by the Pennington Hotel very close by. Reception was welcoming and efficient. Remember to book a table ahead of tour visit if you can as they were busy for our nights. They do their best to accommodate residents though but you may not have your pick of times. The food is fantastic and excellent value. Breakfast wasn't included but we added it. Check out was efficient and our bill was accurate. The staff here were all friendly and efficient. Very dog friendly, with our little dog being made welcome and they brought her a sausage for breakfast 😀. Overall this was a beautiful spot for a break and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

It would be wise to book a table for meals ahead of time. It would have been nice to know. The room was pretty perfect. I'd add coat hooks by the door if I was being very picky!

Really lovely big spacious room (suite room 25), very quiet. Beautiful bathroom with a free standing bath. Gorgeous views overlooking the estuary from 3 big windows. We’ve been many times before and Ravenglass is a lovely spot. The evening meals at the Pennington were excellent.

On the first day (thurs 3rd august) when we had breakfast (in the Pennington) the dirty crockery was still on 3 tables and the fresh fruit and juice hadn’t been replaced. The next 2 days were much better and the tables had been cleared and the empty juice and fruit was replenished.

Loved the suite, it was huge. The view is amazing Very comfortable bed and the shower was lovely. Good to have a fridge in the room

Parking and access is round the back of the pub and this is very tired, extremely messy and full of rubbish and ashtrays full of butt's. In the room the only thing that would be good is to add a toaster or mini kitchenette, as the suite is huge so plenty of room. It would help as the inn isn't connected to any hotel services. Breakfast is offered at the nearby hotel but it was pricey!

It is right on the Estuary and the views at sunset were amazing - the room was lovely, clean and warm. There is a little surprise from the first tap in bathroom!

The only issue for us were the steps leading up to the room - they were wooden and you could see through them so our two small dogs wouldn't go up them but if we didn't have the dogs we couldn't find fault

You actually had breakfast (and checked in/out) at the Pennington but that is literally 50 yards away and the breakfast was good.

Only small minus was not having control over the heating. It was on when we arrived but the next day, it was off. However a friendly bar man was very happy to turn it back on for us.

Stayed here in a fantastic suite overlooking the estuary and dunes. As well as a beautiful view, the room was clean, very spacious and nicely decorated. No significant noise from the pub so got a great night's sleep too. When we stayed we got fantastic food at the Inn, and the staff were great. Will definitely be going again.

The room was clean and modern, and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We arrived late the first night after a long international flight, and they worked with us to make sure we could get dinner at the Pennington Hotel, which was so appreciated after 24 hours of travel and not much in the way of a proper meal.
