The location is excellent – it’s really just a 10-minute drive from York city centre. It’s very peaceful and quiet. 10/10 for the location! We had an issue with one of the cabins we reserved – it wasn’t ready and was dirty. We contacted them by phone, and they responded immediately, quickly arranging a new cabin for us. The service was incredibly fast – well done! It’s also pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. We brought our two Yorkshire Terriers, and they slept peacefully without any issues.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work, but since we only stayed for one night, it wasn’t a big issue. The outdoor bathroom was expected – it wasn’t perfectly clean, but it was usable and not too bad. The bathrooms are shared with the trailer park. Overall, having a private bathroom for the cabin would have made it perfect. However, for a one-night stay, it was a pleasant experience.

I loved how comfy the bed was and all snug, really relaxing little pod to stay in . I loved how we didn’t have to speak to anyone or go to a reception it was all independent following your very detailed explanation via email along with all codes we needed without stress.

Everything was perfect there wouldn’t be anything I could say about this property at all was so nice to get away for a night especially driving 3 hours from Milton Keynes and stress free night. The only thing I could possible mention would be the toilets with the floor being very muddy however this is out of your control and I completely understand how hard this could be considering it is muddy.

Lovely area. Close to York but peaceful & quiet, nice places to take our dog for walks. Our 'dog pod' was clean and equipped with basic essentials. A fan or heater if needed, kettle, cups. Comfortable bed & sofa. Food storage area was available to use with fridges, a microwave, iron etc should you need it. Shower block and toilet facilities were a short walk away, but the area was safe & well lit at night time. There were barbecues to use and a communal area to sit outdoors by a fire. A café next door with a good choice of quality food & drink, a gift shop & children's play area (even though the site is adult only) a bus stop right outside the site with regular buses into the city centre. Place was easy to find and access using instructions given - didn't see any staff on site other than a cleaner but didn't need any help at any point.

Some of the shower facilities could do with a service, one shower in particular needs it's temperature control sorting - it kept jumping from scolding to freezing no matter what the setting. We had a small issue with parking. Each guest is allocated a parking spot and the parking area can hold 10 cars. Unfortunately if one guest parks too far one way other cars can't fit. We took our dog with us and understand the rule for keeping dogs on a lead, but somewhere safe to burn off a bit of his energy would've been welcome (we took a pet fence to put around the decking of our pod so he could run in and out freely without disturbing other guests)

The property's location was excellent, conveniently situated not far from York and close to various amenities. Additionally, it was only half an hour from Malton, which we visited on our departure. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; we were so impressed that we decided to purchase a new one for our home upon our return. Toilets/Shower blocks were clean, plenty of them too. Not as far away as everyone is making out. 1 minute walk at most.

The only issue we encountered during our stay was the presence of a large group occupying seven huts, who were engaged in festivities until approximately 2:30 AM. While this was disruptive, it was an unfortunate circumstance and not a reflection of the property itself.

Nice and quiet. Clean wash facilities. Comfortable bed.

For someone who has AuDHD and being bombarded with instructions both on booking.com app and emails, it ended up being too many instructions that came through and became conflicting and confusing. I tried to call the number given for whatsapp and was told that they didn’t take calls, that they only took messages. I was lost on site and asked them to call, which they did and I was met with a disgruntled woman who didn’t seem amused that she had to call me and “couldn’t understand that I found it difficult to follow the directions on the email” because they were confusing. We also found several hairs in the bedding.

it was great that we were able to get a cabin by our friend who was also staying at the same time. There was a nice little area between our cabins we could sit eat and chat in the evening as well as our decks Dog friendly is always a plus for us

not a reflection on the cabins themselves but there was a couple staying who had at least 4 dogs and they just let them out during the night (their cabin was opposite ours so we could hear them just opening the door and letting the dogs out, the dogs would then come over to our cabin waking our dogs) which meant that when we woke up in the morning the was so much poo around the cabins that they had not cleared up - this was a shame as it put a downer on our morning

The site was quiet and well off the road. Catching the bus into York was easy (as bus stop right outside site), although frequency of bus was limited at once an hour (which the emails from hosts mention). Taxi was required for return (as buses stop at 6.30pm). The pod was clean, tidy, smart inside and the bed comfy, although our particular bed creaked badly on one side. We went in September and there were a couple of spiders in the pod and so we needed to do a quick scan and relocation of our 8 legged friends to have a more relaxing rest :-)

2 Cups and a kettle in pod but no tea or coffee provided! (so don't forget to bring some) Be aware the pods have no insulation/sound proofing so small amounts of noise by the other pods (only 1-2 metres apart) carries, especially people walking on the gravel paths (which can't be helped). Assume the pods are like tents for noise - perhaps brings some earplugs.

Loved the cabin although we didn't book this .. it was stunning. It's a beautiful place and we did end up enjoying our wedding anniversary

We couldn't get in touch with a single member of staff.! We booked.for a luxury glamping pod which this was.stated and ended up in a cabin we tried to get this rectified bit like I said not 1 member of staff around answering any calls or emails and we are still waiting.for a call.back 24 hours later ! This doesn't mean we won't boom again as it ended up being a lovely stay Also no welcome pack to explain where anything was etc someone was parked in out parking spot that was allocated to us !

The pod was lovely and clean, and I loved that I could take my dogs. It was their first holiday :-) the site was nice and quiet, only a few pods and the other guests were pleasant. No loud music played until late or parties, the only staff member that I saw was the cleaning lady who was extremely polite and friendly. The showers and toilets were clean. The location was ideal due to being only 3miles from York town

Lovely location. Really nice pod and super comfortable bed. Liked the outdoor area around the pod. As it was my birthday they supplied a birthday card and bottle of wine which was a lovely touch.

Kettle and cups supplied but no coffee, tea or milk. Light on the path to the toilet had been knocked over making this area dark and slightly scary to walk to, could do with being a bit more well lit.
