The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was hot and powerful, which was great. TV channels were good, air con worked great. Parking onsite was what made this hotel appealing to me. I stayed 2 nights, so saved a lot on parking. A lot of people have complained about no shampoo etc. this is available if you ask at the front desk . . Along with irons and hair dryers. Just request them and you'll get one. A lot of people have mentioned the location and homelessness. I had several interactions with people on the street - they were all courteous and friendly. No one asked me for money or felt threatening and I am a female solo traveler. It looks much worse than it is. As in any major city, just be sensible and you'll be fine.
The bed was not very comfy. No microwave or kettle in the room. Built in bath stopper didn't work, so I could have a bath. Water / coffee in the room would have been ideal.

One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is a free parking slot that you get in the city center. So you are very close to the downtown, and not bad location at all. The room was huge with all the facilities. A bit old fashioned but okay.
It was a bit noisy outside because the room's window was looking at the terrace where anyone in the hotel could smoke, or have a talk. So someone was talking very close to the room. Another point was a deposit you have to pay when checking in with a debit card. 100$ was returned me back in one week. So if you are tight on money you should consider this.

The room was clean and spacious with great views out the window of the city (3rd floor room). The hotel has a car park which was great as we drove there so didn't have to worry about finding overnight parking. I was only here for 1 night, I hope to go to San Francisco again sometime and would happily stay here again. The price was very reasonable for such a good spot. There are no tea / coffee making facilities in the room, but that was the case everywhere I stayed during this trip to California, however, unlike the other places I stayed, this hotel had coffee available for guests in the reception area.

They have double king options! My tall friends appreciated it. There was a good-sized fridge in the room, the room was clean, and the AC worked. It was a great price and at a great location to walk to Japan or China town. They have a under ground garage, no gate but no mischief had been had.
I personally didn't mind it, but it's in a tougher area where drug use and poverty are abundant. Considering I was visiting outside of the general neighborhood, I didn't mind driving or walking through. They didn't have a microwave in the room :(

The free parking! It's rare to find a hotel with onsite parking nevermind free parking! So to come across a reasonably priced hotel in a downtown location with free covered parking is a rare find! As it was a Motel 6, you set your expectations accordingly. The room was large, with 2 queen beds, tiny fridge, LCD TV, and hangers. There wasn't much of a view, not that it mattered. Most importantly, the room was clean and quiet. There were quite a lot of homeless people around the hotel but I never felt unsafe. Besides, it's San Francisco so encountering homeless people in downtown area is common.
No microwave in the room but not important.

I really enjoyed the easy check in, it was very smooth, everyone was very helpful. It was an easy location to get to and from places, we used Uber mostly, I’d stay here again it was a rough location but it was a great price and the hotel is pretty clean you can tell they actually care. Housekeeping is awesome too our room was tidy and clean.I liked that they cared enough to say something when they saw our car windows down. I really appreciated them looking out for us. I would absolutely come back.
Location was pretty gross. However, I felt safe. The people around the location don’t bug you or talk to you, there’s a liquor store across both streets. However one had expired stuff and there’s a dope dominoes too for late night munchies(use their app and go pick up)

Easy check in friendly staff free coffee in the morning they were even kind enough to allow me to keep my car there for a little bit while I got something to eat before my drive home I do appreciate that that's a big plus kudos
The coffee in the morning was great but it will also be nice if they had some bagels and cream cheese or a nice little setup for breakfast

Motel was easy to find and does have limited parking on site. There was coffee available in reception every morning. The room was large and clean.
The area in which the motel is awful. The streets are full of homeless people and it could feel intimidating at times, especially at night.

Friendly staff: when I was checking in with my friend and pet, the staff asked me whether I want to change to two queen size beds (I booked a King size bed, because my friend haven’t decided to come with me when I book the motel.) Clean room: it’s pet friendly motel, but the room is very clean! Comfortable bed: the bed is comfortable! Good soundproof: there are no noises at all. The room is quiet and peaceful. Big room: the room is big enough for me and my friend with luggages and bags and pet. Pet friendly: no need to pay extra for pet.
Bad location: The motel is located in a street which has a lot of homeless people. But as long as you ignore, that’s fine.
