This place is incredible. We went back and forth with staying in a bungalow bc that’s the popular thing to do in Ninh Binh. I’m SO glad we stayed here. The hotel is in a great location. It’s in the back of a little alley but close to food, laundry, spas, and and attractions. We rented a motorbike so we explored all over Ninh Binh during the day and then got to retreat to our luxurious Mountain View room. The staff is incredibly kind. We took a late train on our last night and they let us use the pool, store our bags and shower! The food at their restaurant is delicious. The hotel is really special. The embroidery and attention to detail really shows. The pool is gorgeous. We stayed in the mountain room and I can’t recommend it enough. Absolute luxury!!

Nothing! It’s perfect.

The design and decor is fantastic! The room had so many wonderful touches – all the materials are carefully chosen and crafted and there was something to admire everywhere you looked. The door handles are custom made, and so is the enclosure for the AC. There are custom embroidery details everywhere. The location is in the heart of Tam Coc, so you are a short walk away from the main market area with plenty of cafes, restaurants, grocery shops and travel agencies. The staff were very accommodating. We are both Vegan and they made sure we had a couple of options in the breakfast.

The hotel is located really close to the main street of Tam Coc. Both rooms were spacious, with great view of the surrounding area. The beds were really nice and comfortable. Breakfast was plentyfull, with some meals been cooked on the spot by a chef, with ingredients of your liking. The whole accomodation has a really relaxing vibe to it, with plenty of indoor facilities to keep you occupied during your stay. The staff was really nice for the whole duration of our stay, and also assisted us with keeping our luggages even before and after the check in and check out time so we could take a walk around the city and enjoy the activities around the place.

This was an excellent stay. The suite was beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. We were able to get a room on the top floor. The bathroom had a pretty nice tub as well. We really enjoyed the breakfast and bought some things from the embroidery place downstairs. Location is also great and tucked back a little from the main road.

This is not their fault but there was a wedding downstairs at another location with loud karaoke the first night and second morning but it did end before 10:30pm. The property was quiet after they left.

We came for my the weekend for my birthday, we visited Tam coc before and enjoyed the vibe of the place but wanted a nicer hotel away from the bustle. This hotel fitted that bill. It was a lush spa hotel with friendly staff and a lovely comfortable room. Enjoyed some unexpected sun by the pool on arrival with some cold beers, and braved a much chillier swim the following morning pre breakfast. The room had very comfortable beds and pillows and a lush large shower with nice products to use. It is so close to a nice row of bars and restaurants that I was surprised to see so busy for mid-January and not just backpackers but travellers of all ages, which was nice.

The only thing that was annoying, but I guess couldn't be helped, was the loud animals throughout the night, non-stop rooster calls, and a yappy dog, which meant sleep quality wasn't great.

The amazing staff, they were very helpful! We took the night bus that left at 08:30 pm and asked for late check out which unfortunately wasn’t available but when we came back in the evening to take our luggage they gave us a room where we could take a shower and change again for free. Loved this service! 🙏 they offer free bikes, hotel style is beautiful and the location is just perfect. Highly recommended!

Laundry (as in most hotels) was a bit expensive as they charge per item. But there are other options in town.

Great location in the centre of Tam Coc. We used the free bikes to cycle to every attraction and don’t need a taxi or tour to see anything. You are down a side street but adjacent to all of the restaurants and bars. Next door to the hotel is a great place called Xanh Coffee that feed and water you perfectly. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and the double bed was two double beds pushed together so was massive! Breakfast was full of standard Vietnamese and Western food. The staff on reception were super-friendly and helpful.

Le Clos Du Fil was a pleasant surprise to end our trip in Ninh Binh. We came from another resort which was further away from all the Ninh Binh attractions, so we wanted to stay somewhere more central to all the attractions or town. We couldn't have pick a better hotel. Le Clos Du Fil was in an ideal location. It's a short walk to the town strip with all the restaurants and spas. On the other end, you have the rice fields and mountains. On top of that, the hotel was very cute and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We loved the attention to detail with all the embroidery. We even took an embroidery class right at the hotel. 5 stars to everything!

What an absolute delight of a Hotel. The level of detail and intention from the embroidered guest touches to the warmth of the staff and their hospitality....truly wonderful. Unfortunately I arrived with a cold from a few days in Hanoi (it was freezing cold) and I needed to cocoon myself for 2 days to recover. I'm so pleased I chose this hotel as i felt cosy and cared for. The location is perfect and so accessible to the main vibe. Lol...Someone mentioned in a comment about a rooster in the morning... I actually heard him this morning ....super cute and so authentic for the region. Loved it.

On this trip through Cambodia and Vietnam my parent and i, stayed in a total of 7 hotels and one luxury 3 night cruise. These were all good hotels but Le Close Du Fil were the top of the list! What a great establishment. The staff were amazing the whole place oozes charm, attrition to detail and comfort in abundance- we loved it!! 🥰

Some of the bikes could have better brakes.
