The owners were so nice and super helpful! Such great value for money with the breakfast included. The breakfast has lots of options and big portions. They keep the place very neat and tidy! Location is great and the hosts so helpful for renting bikes and booking onwards travel. Beside the lake so easy to walk to lots of nearby restaurants but very quiet in the rooms. The beds were soft!! A rare find sometimes. The Aircon also worked as a heater which was great on the colder days!

There was some confusion as when we went to check out the woman told us it was cold and could keep the room and leave our bags in our room until our sleeper bus at 8pm which they had booked for us. However when we went to leave for the day her partner said it would be 300k for a late check out! This was more than we’d paid for our nights stay. Very easily could have been charged for an extra day when we weren’t even there! Hopefully just a mix up but good to know late check out is an option!

this has been easily the best place we have stayed at during our trip. the service is truely exceptional, family run homestay and they are all so friendly. had a mishap on a motorbike in town and when i returned all bandaged up i was given free fruit, water, and food. the level of care is bar none. Such a relaxing location with boardwalk right outside and 2 minute walk from main strip of shops. sitting outside they have offered us green tea on plenty of occasions. #live photo. ❤️

We really loved our stay here. We couldn’t find any faults to the place and the owners were lovely and so helpful. Not only it is cheaper than most similar properties, but the attention the owners paid to maintaining the place neat and clean is unmatched. The rooms are spacious and well stoked with space for depositing luggage, hanging clothes etc. The pool was great, clean, the garden is wonderful, full of plants and very well looked after. Lastly, the location is excellent - on a very quiet street by the lake, yet only a 3 minutes walk from the touristic centre of the town.

Absolutely no faults. Don’t think twice before booking, they could charge double what they do and I would still go!

Tam Coc and Thanh Dat Homestay felt like a small peaceful paradise with a pool and palm trees next to the city lake and in the middle of such stunning natural wonders as the Mua Caves and Viewpoint and Trang An. Both of which are located just a few minutes ride away on a scooter (5 and 10min respectively). The property itself couldn’t be nicer, our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Our hosting family very sweet, attentive and helpful. We arranged for a scooter and also the night bus to Hue with them. Laundry is optionally available. Despite the vast choice of accommodation options, Tam Coc Thanh Dat Homestay is a true gem and felt like a treat on our (so far) 6 months trip across South East Asia. Highly recommended.

it was really clean and the bungalow was nice. the location was perfect: right next to the street with all the restaurants, at the riverside and situated in a lovely neighborhood. the owner and his family were really precious and helped me out a tom: they booked a nice one day trip for me and gave me suggestions on what to do on the second day (sights and restaurants). after check-out, they stored my luggage and let me take a shower in a separate bathroom right before my bus was arriving. they booked the bus to phong nha for me, drove me to the bus station and didn‘t leave until i was seated in the right one. everytime i had a question, i got a reply in whatsapp in a couple of minutes. i felt very safe and welcome. highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing. I highly recommend you to book with this beautiful family. We arrived very early in the morning around 4 am and it was super cold. Everything was closed, I called to the hostel and they immediately offered us a room to stay for couple of hours. At midday we changed to the room we have booked. They offered a great breakfast than usually is included in the rate, and they have also the possibility to rent bikes and motorbikes (very good price). The location cannot be better, just in the middle of everything but far enough to be in a quiet place. The room was perfect and they were changing towels every day. We will come back for sure!

The host family was very welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, airy and very clean. Fresh towels were provided each morning. The breakfast options were varied and delicious. The pool was refreshing!! So amazing to find a cooler water pool after 3 months of hotter than outside pools. The location was quiet and only a 2 minute walk to the town, behind the main street and just opposite the lake. We booked one night through booking and extended an extra two nights with the host.

I would have appreciated if the pool were a little bit cleaner, specifically the tiles.

Everything! The homestay is cozy and only 2 minutes walk from the lively street. we liked the accommodation so much that we extended it for two nights. The hosts of the Homestay are incredibly caring and make it comfortable for you. They arranged transportation from Halong bay to their accommodation and a taxi to the airport when we were leaving. There is the possibility of doing laundry for a good price. Bicycle and moped rental is also available at good prices.

Perfect location, 5 min walk to restaurants, boat tour and activities. Spacious and clean room that suited our family of 5. Ac functional and hot water with good pressure. Delicious breakfast with coffee, tea, juice, fruits and one choice per person of fried noodles, egg and bread or pancake. Host Family is super friendly and helpful. They can help you organise tours or bus transfers if you need. Great value for money

Nothing regarding the property however the lot next door is having some construction done so you can hear a little bit of noise during the day but it’s super quiet at night.

Clean, nice and big room. Friendly and helpful staff. You can also rent a Motorbike for 120k/d or a bicycle for 50k/d, book several tours or buses. Good location, 2minutes to the center and much more quiet then the main street.

Only two minuses arey that the bus ticket was more expensive as we had to pay than they told us in advance (but still cheaper as on 12goasia) and that you don't get a water bottle for free in your room. But a big bottle is only 15k so not that bad
