We liked that there was an excellent Indian restaurant on site, the food was delicious. We were pleased with how clean it was. There was sufficient space for us .. it's position was great, convenient to shopping and central to sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and warm. The provisions of tea/coffee items were great.

It was quite dated in the shower, tho clean, the water didn't drain well. The toilet seat needs replacing as it is disintegrating and no longer smooth for cleaning/poor hygiene. The aircon was the old-fashioned hole in the wall type, which clunked terribly as it cut in and out. So we didn't use overnight.

Reception was very friendly to us, and the room was well-serviced. There were many facilities in the compound like the pool, bbq pit, gym, laundry room but it's a shame we did not have the time to use them as we were just staying a night. There is an Indian restaurant that opens for dinner and it might have been the best meal of our WA road trip. Located around 2-3 minutes drive from the city centre.

The double bed was a little high, so my elderly family members were slightly worried. We had some trouble locking the door from the outside but it was not a big issue. There's partial shelter on the stairs up to the second floor but it doesn't really cover the entire width of the stairs.

The room was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed. Having a sofa in the unit was a bonus and the bed was very comfortable as I find that most accommodation, we have stayed in usually have high beds and hard mattresses. The shower was wonderful and much appreciated after a long journey.

They had a restaurant on their grounds, but unfortunately it was Curry only which did not suit us. Perhaps they will consider extending their menu to other tastes which would be beneficial to those of us seeking a quick meal at night without having to go out to find place to eat, which for us was very difficult as most eating places in Albany were very busy and waiting times for meals very long.

Spacious room, small but adequate dining table with chairs, good beds, friendly helpful staff. Excellent laundry.

The aircon is an older style in-wall unit. It was very noisy operating as we had it on all night with outside temps above 30 degrees most of the time. The room could do with a modern (quiet) heat pump. Small opening windows limited natural ventilation when more modest temperatures allowed. The is no kitchen sink so dishes had to be done in the bathroom hand basin - not the best arrangement. Some of the buttons on the TV remote did not work.

We walked into the centre although it might too far for some people. It took around 25 minutes. The pool area was much appreciated but the weather wasn’t great so we never swam. The staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The little gym equipment look well maintained although I don’t think it was used much. We ate twice at the Royal Turban which is in the complex. The food was excellent.

My standard queen and single room was very spacious. All appliances worked very well and I had everything I needed in my room including a microwave oven and some crockery and cutlery. It was obvious that Country Comfort Amity Motel is lovingly maintained. I felt my four day stay was perfectly accommodated and conveniently located to down town Albany as I was playing in a band for the Sea Shanty and Folk Festival weekend and only had to drive a few minutes to all the venues necessary.

I honestly cannot think of anything that could have been done better.

The room was clean, spacious with tea and coffee facilities. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was great with the shower not able to wet the floor. We were given a downstairs room as requested.

Stepping into the shower was a little difficult due to the fact the "step" allowed the shower to turn into a bath.....if a plug was available. No microwave or toaster meant we couldn't make our own breakfast. We had to park and walk around the building with all our gear.

We needed disabled accommodation, well thought out accommodation also parking which made it very easy , staff were very helpful and bonus we had a washing machine well done

I spoke with the receptionist on departure and explained in disabled situation in kitchen/lounge area it is either better to have glass table with chairs with arms so can support person when they rise, or a wooden table in place of glass top table then leave the chairs as are, with both glass top table and chairs with no support makes for an anxious situation and possible safety hazard. The receptionist did listen and say she would pass it on

Easy to find location. Great shared kitchen facilities. Loved playing table tennis whilst our food was cooking. Inter-connecting rooms were great.

A bit out of town. Rooms very dated. Inability to have a late checkin for a family of 4 seemed very inflexible, given the distances travelled. Why not have that rule for groups of more than 4 instead of 3??

Loved the room size. Not sure if is normal but the water in the shower was not good, it went from hot to cold and you were constantly adjusting the temperature. The staff at checkin were lovely. The Indian restaurant was great quality and wonderful staff. Unfortunately didn't get to use pool as it was raining but it looked lovely
