It was a nice location very close to the beach! Further away from the center but a 20 min walk along the beach was fine. The room was nice everything functioning, ac was always on. The staff was very friendly.

Nothing really special. The pool was out of order so we could go to the one of the neighbouring hotel. Breakfast was at this hotel as wel. Next time i think we would go for a hotel that is on the beach so you don’t have to go to a beach club during the day. Overall it was a nice stay but nothing really special.

I strongly recommend Soho boutique Hotel. Originally we booked 2 nights at the Hotel, but we liked the place so much, that we decided to stay for 2 more nights. The staff was very helpful with whatever we needed. The location is great - 15 minutes walking from the crowded center. For us it meant that we could spend lazy days in a very calm surrounding and easily walk to the center in the evening for a dinner or a party. Great facilities - the hotel has its own sunbeds on the beach where we'd spend our days.

This has nothing to do with the hotel, but I believe it's an appripriate place to mention it, since it will concern all guests. To get to the hotel from the port you need to take a taxi. The first two drivers I approached by myself told me that the price was 200 pesos, however when I approached them with my wife, the price went up to 300 pesos. I personally think that 200 pesos for a 15 minutes ride is a lot, but making it 300 pesos in 5 minutes is a scam.

The hotel was really close to the beach, with sun loungers available and at a quieter part of the beach for during the day which was nice. The bed was large and comfortable. Access to the sister hotel

Due to the straw roof, you could hear EVERYTHING in the next room. You could hear their conversations word for word and more…the hotel is located a bit away from the main town and due to the poor infrastructure the roads are impassible when there has been rain so the only way to get there is by a walk on the beach which can be treacherous at night, especially if the tide is in or else by taxi which can add up. It was a little overpriced in my opinion.

Mateo greeted me upon arrival. Very sweet, kind and also fluent in English. The property has two pools. I didn’t use either because I’d rather enjoy the ocean. The room was a good size, especially considering that I was by myself. The furnishing is basic but it has everything one needs. The Minifridge, the access to a balcony and refillable water at the reception area were welcome bonuses. Beach Towels were given upon request. Wi-Fi and internet services were steady, no disruptions. AC worked fantastic. Free continental Breakfast was offered across the street from 8:00-10:30am at the Hau Hotel. The coffee was strong, the portions were on a smaller side but were filling for me. The staff is accommodating and not pushy at all. Free use of the Spirit Hotel (rooftop! and loungers ) and the Hau Hotel (private beach with loungers) properties. It is a tad of a secluded, and hence, a quiet area with iguanas chilling in the sun. Two restaurants and a kiosk 2 min away. About a 15 min (fast paced) walk into the centro but I was aware of that, so that was fine. A “taxi” to the hotel is 150MXN oneway and well worth it, if you’re traveling with luggage. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, if you want to have access to a private beach without paying for consumption but be aware that it is not centrally located.

The room and overall property is not the most modern but it’s adequate. While the towels and sheets were clean, I wish the room was cleaned a smudge better. I had a dead cockroach laying on the floor for two straight days, even though the rooms are cleaned daily.

Just back from 8 nights. And including the cyclone..eek. Staff exceptional. They are definitely rock stars. Two stars Carlo and the head maid worked 35 hours straight to keep us safe. We loved our stay and staff and room and hotel. We just did the beach nearby every day. Amazing. Breakfast at sister hotel is mediocre despite the kind staff. Make sure your eggs are fully cooked one of us got Salmonella poisoning there 100%. Only fully cooked eggs!!!!

Food at spirit. $80 bucks CAD for two burgers and colas. Meh breakfast. And we are pretty easy to please. Staff are nice.

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was particularly great. If we had any questions about where to go, which tours are recommended, or anything else, we were always supported. The breakfast was also very good. We would particularly like to emphasize the staff member Julian, who always accompanied the breakfast. He was extraordinarily attentive, friendly, and helpful. He gave us good tips throughout the week and was also a person on a personal level who made our stay at the Soho Boutique Hotel so unique.

The only thing we would have to say is that there were not enough towels in the room and they were only changed once during the whole week.

Location is perfect, halfway between the town and punta cocos so we could easily reach everything we wanted whilst still have a quiet area and a beach that at times felt like it was private. The rooms are large and I enjoyed having my own terrace facing out to the pool

The breakfast was good, eggs cooked how you want plus fruit yogurt and a pastry. But somehow wasn’t very filling and I felt it was a bit lacking in quality. It’s not a buffet and waiting to be served was a bit slow some days

Amazing location, It is so peaceful there, you can really shut off and relax at the pool or beach. You always see the friendly Lizards running around, it really gives you island jungle vibes, they don’t bite. The rooms are beautiful, minimalistic, clean, very comfortable and spacious. There is also access to a gym to work out to start your beach day off right! You can walk 1 minute to the beautiful beach, but it takes you a 20 minute bike or Taxy ride to get to the city center. There are lots of places to eat & drink, markets for souvenirs and shops. We recommend take the bikes before dark and discover the city life or some of the rest of the island spots.

Breakfast takes some getting used to because you eat the same everyday but it is good, staff is very friendly, and you get unlimited coffee.

The room and property were beautiful! The pool on the roof was a great place to hang out when you didn't want to be at the beach. It was very close to the water, and the beach on that side had very little seaweed when we stayed. The breakfast was great and the little club where you have it was right on the beach!

The one thing I didn't like was that the bathroom in the room (while very pretty) did not have a ceiling, so it was open to the rest of the room.

The property is authentic and decorated well. It must be very old as it is showing some signs of wear. The facilities are very basic but suit the beach vibe so all was well. Location is perfect as it is right close to the beach and far enough from the centre so that it is quiet. Also the adjoining property has a very nice rooftop pool and restaurant. We were surprised however at how expensive food and especially wine was….. quite over the top.

There is no view of the water from this facility but the adjoining facility which is part of the “group” has a lovely place to enjoy a view.
