Our room/apartment was surprisingly large and the kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, mugs, etc, as well as a stove, oven, and a microwave - everything we could possibly need - which was a really nice surprise. There is a parking spot in front of the ‘room’ and a huge terrace with plenty places to sit and relax. Really exceeded my expectations!!! The location is great too, easy to find and just off the main road. Excellent stay overall.

Based on the photographs provided our expectations were low. In th event they were far exceeded, because the motel is new, well-finished, very well equipped and sparkling clean For example, the quality of bed linen and mattress was far above what one might expect at this price point. One has to be realistic: Fairlie is a tiny town a long way from anywhere in the high MacKenzie country. Finding something as good in those circumstances was a real bonus, thank you and well done.

This place was exceptional! Clean bathrooms, functional kitchen, electric blankets and heater to keep warm, an abundance of tea and coffee. The two bedroom unit was super spacious and had two huge, comfortable, queen sized beds. It was a perfect stopover location and Ashley was super helpful on the phone.

We were pleasantly surprised by this very comfortable motel accomodation. The unit looked like it had been recently refurbished and was beautifully presented with two spacious bedrooms, a good kitchen and a great outdoor space which included a washing machine.

We were a bit flummoxed at first by the checking in system but it actually worked well.

Great communication with the owner, easy and flexible check in, comfy beds and pillows, everything is super clean and aircon warms the room well. You also get your own parking space in front of your door. The owner Cynthia also went that extra mile to help me post the item I left behind. Thank you! I would highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Lake Tekapo and around. Great value for money comparing to staying in the Lake Tekapo region.

Everything was exceptional.I cannot ask for more.

Mostly comfortable room with everything you need - clean beds and bathroom, heat pumps , small tv, microwave, private courtyard. Water pressure in shower good.

Mattress wasn’t good on one bed (lots of spring noises). Was a little dark in the room even with lights on. Tv a little small. A bit pricey but this may have been because it was Easter

Great location - Top Hotel has delicious meals and is just a short walk away. The Bakehouse is around the corner. Bed was comfy and facilities more than adequate. Allocated parking outside the front door.

No robe, only hooks on back of door to hang clothes.

Everything was just great . Renovation, facilities, clean , nice backyard with outdoor furniture. Beds were super comfortable with heated sheets. Kitchen was equipped with everything that one needs with family for light cooking.

Although everything was great , one small issue though. Netflix didn’t work. Kids were upset because of that.

The host was super kind and the room was well equipped and clean. What I liked the most is its heating system. I was coming down with flu but thanks to the heating mattress and the heater, I got much better. I was a little worried about the noise when booking since it's close to the road but it was quiet.
