Lovely colonial building with quiet courtyard; one of the limited heritage properties I could find with air-conditioning inside the room. Fantastic location with many high quality restaurants and cafes within a block or two. Great shopping and art outlets are also within a short distance. A cafe in the front of the hotel which I didn't try, however didn't seem to be busy often.

Perhaps a small fridge in the room to keep some drinking water cool. The bed was a bit firm, could be fixed with a foam mattress topper but not a huge issue.

We really enjoy our stay, everyone was very friendly and helpful, they keep rooms very clean.

We have a rental car, and we have to park the car every night at the parking lot at or after 8:00pm and pick up the car each morning by 8:00am, I recommend visitors that you do not rent a car since you will not need it since you have everything there with walking distance.

Perfect location in the central city of Oaxaca de Juárez. The staff were kind and very helpful. The cafe makes a great breakfast. The hotel was lovely and very very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. We would book there again.

Only challenge was we needed and extra towel for the floor - due to some water running from the shower. No big deal at all.

Nice big room with really comfortable bed. Was very clean. Location right in the center close to everything. Quiet at night. Staff very helpful. Cafe in the hotel means you can get coffees in the morning.

Upgraded to a patio room, which basically just means a ground floor room, but no seats to sit outside so not really worth it. Felt it was priced quite high for what is really just a room and not really hotel facilities.

Mattress was the next worst thing to sleeping on a brick. I wish breakfast was included and the quality of the food we purchased was better. The coffee we purchased in the morning wasn't the best. Communication with the hotel was poor prior to arrival. We sent messages via Booking.com and received no answer.

centrally located , private, super clean and staff was exceptional. customer service was excellent. Covid protocols were followed consistently. We felt safe because of the constant cleaning by staff. Sanitizer was also provided at door.

shower needs a barricade so water doesn’t flow into the rest of the bathroom. keep more bathroom supplies in the room. We did not like having to request toilet paper daily.

the tv in the first room we stayed at the first night didn’t work. then, the second night in a different room we stayed in, the AC was flowing in the entire room so it was really hot and my baby and i were extremely hot and sweaty and it made it uncomfortable

The location is perfect! Close to all amenities and everything is walkable in Oaxaca. The room was beautiful and spacious and the AC worked perfectly. The staff were always so helpful and available to help out. Best place to get a restful sleep after exploring.

The hot water took a while to start in the showers but it was okay.

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating to our every need, rooms were clean, the location was perfect walking distance to sites & restaurants, and the hotel courtyards were beautiful.

The hotel room we had worked out fine, but the lighting could be better.

superb location just near the plaza zocalo, a top end bakery up the street, and walking distance to the whole downtown. the interior traditional courtyard one for the coffee area and one surrounded by the rooms and upstairs balcony with second level rooms is lovely. the staff was superb arranging our emit taxi setting up coming to hotel Covid return tests for our friends and even offered next day laundry service. a traditional room means cool and dark interior with a window opening into the courtyard and second floor room meant skylight in the bathroom. room and quality of the bed and linens was excellent. super quiet very little street noise, you could hear the church bells on the distance. of course with a courtyard you could hear talking but loved it. this is a well designed small boutique hotel on a building from the 1800s and it was perfect. Maigeritte the day manager was wonderful arranging even our 5 a m taxi to the airport. wonderful.
