The hotel is located in a very nice residential area not far from the airport. It has direct access to the beach. Upon our arrival we got an upgrade to a bigger room on the last floor with a partial sea view, which was fantastic. At the end of the corridor there was a lift arriving to the restaurants and directly to the garage with many available places. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was opulent. Great service at the beach and pool as well as in the restaurant. Room service and cleaning efficient.

The number of sun-beds was quite limited. Some guests were " booking" them a way before the pool opening. As we are not big fans of this practice, we never had a chance to sit at the pool. Luckily there was also an adjacent beach with few beds stil available right after the opening. During the rush hours, there was a breakfast waiting list. To avoid waiting we were forcing our kid to wake up earlier. Well, not nice, also for us during holidays. But the overall service during breakfast was friendly and efficient.

Super friendly and helpfull staff. Great beach and very nice facilities. Breakfast buffet was superb and the thursday seafood-night was amazing. Room cleaning was great and they even treated us with delicious chokolates every second day. One of the best hotels we have ever visited.

Excellent from start to finish. Breakfast , Dinner, Facilities, everyone who is working at this Hotel from the Management to the cleaners are trained to take care of their guests. specially Mr Mohammad in the Gym who took his time to go through all the facilities, Mr Moi serving at breakfast and Dinner who took extra time to make sure everything is at our disposal, and i must add it was the Best Hotel we have ever stayed at.

only negative point after staying at this hotel and being spoiled, is that the expectation Bar for us is now so high, that we will not enjoy 100% to be at any other hotel anywhere else.

Kempinski is a great hotel, very well positioned compared to some other high-end resorts. It's very close to the airport and all the main attractions, while also being right by the beach, so you have the best of both worlds. The staff is very kind, polite, and helpful. The breakfast caters to every taste. My only regret is not having spent more time at the hotel, as I was always on day tours!

I really liked the comfortable and spacious room with a handy walk-in closet, so you didn't have to clutter your living area with luggage. Pools were great, and we also enjoyed the restaurants on site. Finally, hats off for everyone working at the hotel. The staff was not only attentive and helpful but also genuinely welcoming and friendly. Thank you, and I hope to come back soon!

Our stay was too short.

We had such a fabulous time in Kempinski hotel, Oman that we wanted to post a review. We are seasoned travellers and do lots of trips. The Kempinski hotel in Oman is probably the most luxurious hotel in Oman. This hotel exudes class and the service is gold standard. The local area is in the up market district of Al Mouj. This area is very safe and includes reasonably priced restaurants. The Lebanese restaurant in the main section is top quality with tasty fresh ingredients. The Kempinski hotel is low rise and has a vast sandy beach front and the early morning walks and swimming at sunrise are magical. Special mentions to Aishwarya who was our breakfast waitress. She is an angel with such a welcoming smile. She is very efficient and has great attention to detail. Other excellent staff members for us included Sagar and Abbas who looked after us brilliantly around The Cascade Pool. Overall, we thought The Kempinski was superb and we would book again in a heart beat Alan & Oya Wilson,Cobham,Surrey,UK

It was all fabulous

Absolutely loved our stay at the Kempinski. The employees are so incredibly helpful, kind and courteous. I think that they must have made a huge investment in the customer experience training as well as recruiting wonderful people as the levels of service and hospitality were exceptional across the board. We were incredibly grateful for our complimentary upgrade (this doesn't happen so frequently in ME hotels these days), plus flexibility with check in/ out times. The views, the beach location, the proximity to the port for scuba and snorkelling trips were excellent. Breakfast and dinner was excellent and the chefs and waiting staff went the extra mile to give us exactly what we wanted. Also loved the detail of being able to get the exact pillows we wanted. it really feels like they have thought of every detail. Nespresso machine great, and wonderful smelling toiletries (I liked the the fact that these aren't disposable also). I can't speak highly enough for this place. just loved it! Thank you for a wonderful weekend and we WILL be back!

Nothing really. I would just say from an environmental standpoint you can give the option not to change sheets and towels. Also please assist with beach clean up as I found there to be quite a bit of plastic collecting at the hotel end.
