The hotel it self, its great!! From the moment you go in, see the nice setting/vibe it has to offer with the restaurant with a mix of cafe/bar areas where people work during day time (informally, not a cowork) and at night time was really busy with people. Also how they take of you at the desk on the check in/out, really friendly and nice service. Lastly the room it self, nice, very small but has all you need and very confortable....honestly a very good setting. Despite the location being far from the center, its an easy 30min train to the center or less to other nice areas, that surely would cost more to be there. PS: Very nice flexibility over checkout times

A few things. First the service at none peak hours at the restaurant was beyond slow on a couple days. I had to wait 1hr for a coffee and another they seated me and never came back for service. Problems in 2 out of the 3 times i was there. Another one is the door of the room, is kind of bad for filtering noise. Every morning you hear people walking and talking as they leave their rooms, others at night... could improve here.

Hotel lovely reception and bar area, nice staff, good price for London. Good transport links.

Didn't like them taking extra £100 on arrival some people may be on a tight budget when travelling. Lift pass card did not work properly so was a little annoying 🙄 we gave up on it and took stairs few times. Bar was little too noisy for us on Friday (DJ) evening so we went elsewhere. Please stop putting service charges on bills, we had a drink in the bar and were charged £2.50 for privilege 😒

Just 2 min walk from one Underground station and 8 min from another station, giving access to various points in the city, but the best part was the hotel itself - styled for a 70s vibe, but not with 70s furniture!! Everything was cute and looked new. I will make this hotel my preferred place to stay when in London - I just hope all the great reviews don't make them increase their prices! :)

There was no breakfast option when booking, I would have preferred to have that included.

The property was so stylish but also cosy. Our room was lovely, perfect for me and my daughter. The location was perfect for Westfield, just 5 min walk up the road. The beds were super comfy. We will definitely be back again!

Fantastic interior The room was the layout of a normal hotel but the fit out and attention to detail made all the difference eg the radio playing, the lighting, the walk in shower, the sound proof windows, and the mattress and pillows were incredible! You don’t usually get such good quality in a hotel. 5* thankyou

The hotel was extremely stylish and comfortable. It was nice to have tea/coffee/cocktails in the lobby. Staff were very helpful and stored our luggage for us when we arrived to the hotel before our rooms were ready. There were nice amenities as well, like free water/tea/coffee in the room, and take-away breakfast options. The hotel was also located close to two different tube stations which made travel to the city center really easy. The neighborhood of Shepard's Bush was also great because we had lots of pubs, hip restaurants, and shops nearby.

I wish there had been a bit more space in the rooms. It was a bit of a tight fit for two of us and our luggage, even though we only brought one bag each. We had to store one of our suitcases under the bed, which was slightly tricky.

The room was amazing for one person, the bed was so comfortable, i really enjoyed it!! They had full TV, a radio in chill out music that i was putting it on to relax, the bathroom.....oh my God, amazing smells of the washing supplies, creams, conditioners, shampoo and handcream, not in small sealed packs, but in vases!! Big enough bathroom, amazing room. The window view was fabulous, I was at the 7th floor and I could see the heart of London and the railways of metro. Close to everything!! Westfield, one of the biggest shopping malls was just opposite the Hotel. Super Markets, cafe, english breakfast........I have no words. The Hotel is full cosy, modern, I had no need of extra plugs as it had USB ports in every plugs. The safety!!! You had to use your room card in order to use the lifts, and enter the hotel after midnight. That really made me feel safe!!. Every door had a lock and a chain. So thoughtful!!

just a chair in the room or something. can't think of something else.....or a stool....

OMG, this hotel was THE BEST! I spent hours reading through hotel reviews before booking and I am SOOOO glad I chose The Hoxton! The hotel itself is AMAZING, with great rooms and a great restaurant (delicious coffee!). The neighbourhood is also super! Definitely try the amazing Italian restaurant, Bocconi, right down the block for dinner! And of course Westfield is literally right across the street. It's super easy to get basically anywhere from the hotel, with plenty of buses and underground options. I could not recommend this hotel and location more - amazing value for money in wonderful London. We will absolutely be back!

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like! Everything was perfect! If I had to find something negative, maybe get a room on a higher floor if you really need total silence to sleep. We were on the second floor and you could hear the music from the restaurant a tiny bit. But this did not bother us at all.

We were upgraded by the friendly reception staff on our arrival because it was our honeymoon. Funky and stylish lounge area with modern furniture inviting guests and locals to have drink. Great choice of cocktails and in-House restaurant serves delish food. The room was spacious and very stylish with warm colours and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. You immediately feel welcomed the moment you step into the hotel. The hotel is close to public transport (tube & bus) and only two stops from Notting Hill which has awesome cafes, Portobello Market and nice restaurants. Bus No 148 (5min from the hotel) takes you all the way to Buckingham palace. Definitely would stay here again.

Nothing bad to say about the hotel only thing to mention is the location. We felt a little unease at night time.

Brilliant location for getting into town and getting back home from. Love the decor. staff really friendly and helpful. bed very comfortable, room very clean and quiet - despite traffic outside. the granola, at breakfast was excellent. a small bottle of milk in the fridge was very welcome.

Would have quite liked a bath - rather than a shower (only). Breakfast seemed very expensive - mainly because every item is ordered individually - by comparison with a set price buffet breakfast, for instance. I would much prefer to have a cafetière of coffee - which gives a bit more than one cup, rather than having to order 'another coffee' after the first one. Poached eggs with (rather than on) toast meant that the toast needed to be buttered (by me) and both toast and eggs were warm rather than hot. good eggs though. My husband's breakfast in a Kaiser roll (I think that's what it was called) was disappointing: bland without the 'special ketchup', then completely overpowered by the ketchup. Please supply artificial sweetener as well as sugar.
