The rooms are very well appointed with large porthole windows that open with a nice view of the skyline towards the river. The rooms and hallways have the feeling of being aboard a ship. The bathrooms were very nice and well equipped with necessities and robes. A decent size for NY. The breakfast was very basic but its served in a nice room. The lobby was a good place to convene with other family staying too. The hotel is across from the Chelsea market, the highline, close to the Whitney Museum and the subway makes everything accessible. If you can find a parking spot there is even free parking nearby.

The noise from the street goes late into the night, mostly from drivers beeping as lots of people are being dropped off and picked up at nearby clubs. The hotel supplies earplugs but I had to ask for a fan to dim the noise which helped.

The lobby area is very attractive and feels welcoming and the room was a good size and comfortable. The fitness room, while compact, had a good selection of machines and weights and the continental breakfast being included was nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return on another visit.

Small thing - but the corridor that the fitness room is on is a bit smelly - think it's because doors to the outside were left open and there must be trash there, so would be great to keep those doors closed to avoid the smell. This didn't negatively affect my stay, but hopefully a useful piece of feedback.

Very nice location if you want to have an easy and efficient stay in NYC. Very good restaurants around and it is nice to be close the Chelsea market. The room is good in terms of space and cleaning but it is not a 4 star hotel. It is very expensive for the quality. The room was made everyday. Very good service on this aspect.

Parking service is terrible. They charged us extra for having an SUV which was not noted at the beginning. The breakfast shows that it is not a 4 star hotel. Very cheap and the quality is not there.

A stylish but slightly dated hotel next to Chelsea Market, easily accessible to the High Line, the Whitney and equisite Little Island Park. The spaces are quirky but comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and shows care.

The unusual rooms are a bit dated, the rooms and beds are compact (the beds are smaller than queen), but everything is comfortable and well thought out. The location, while accessible to the High Line and Chelsea Market (which is showing its age), is removed a bit from restaurants and other sites.

Great location across street from Chelsea Market and near The High Line. Unique porthole windows either covers to keep noise out. Breakfast good for continental. Nice large shower. Robes were a nice touch. Lots of room in drawers to keep clothing etc and ample closet space.

Our room (605) had a knocking noise from the air conditioning. Wasn’t an issue for me but my husband noticed and used the supplied ear plugs. Toilet seat didn’t go all the way up. No fan in bathroom so it stayed humid longer.

I had a great time for a holiday staycation in the city. The staff is so friendly and down to earth. The area is great as well. It is by a few "hip" spots in the city but the hotel does an amazing job keeping things quiet and calm. The only thing would be, the breakfast is nothing special. Your typical bagels, cereal and yogurts. Nothing fancy. This is NYC so grabbing a proper breakfast is just a block away in all directions.

Loved the design motif, like modernized 1930's nautica. The rooms look like rooms in a vintage yacht, complete with porthole windows. Room wasn't huge but generous by Manhattan standards. Lots of selection in the minibar, nice products in the bathroom, great shower pressure and temperature. Quiet with a super comfortable bed made for a great nights' sleep. The location is incredible - right across from Chelsea Market and the High Line.

Breakfast wasn't impressive (but included!) but Chelsea Market is right there for other options. No pool or spa facilities and no bathtub - I would have loved at least one after a long international flight, but it wasn't expected.

We loved the location of the Maritime Hotel, close to the High Line, Little Island and the Whitney (and to the subway) and in a very nice neighbourhood to wander around, with attractive streets and lots of little restaurants and cafes. Our room on the 10th floor had great views and was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Thanks especially to the team on reception when we checked in for their enthusiasm and congratulations on the occasion of our daughter's graduation which we were celebrating!

Superb location right above the most amazing restaurant called Tao. Across the road from Chelsea market and walking distance to the high line. West Village very close by and all within walking distance. Would stay here again for sure.

Not enough seating for breakfast time. Had to stand with your coffee and food to wait for a table. They should have opened up the restaurant for guests. Disappointing.

Great location, just across the street from Chelsea Market, 2 min walk to subway, safe neighborhood. The stuff are very helpful and nice. Room nice and clean,vwith all you need (even umbrella!).

The only thing we didn't like was the noise you can hear from the street. We were on the 5 floor, and could hear the sirens and music from the street (though they did gave ear plugs. If you're not a light sleeper, you'll be fine).
