Excellent location. Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable

At busy times, like checkout/checkin it would take a very long time for the elevators to arrive and when they did arrive, they would already be full. The dining room is not big enough to cater for the amount of guests. We had breakfast elsewhere because there were never any seats

The room was large enough, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The location is very good: quiet street, close to Central Park. Breakfast offers a variety of dishes, some of which change daily. The breakfast room is large. There is free tea, coffee and water in the lobby.

The hotel has three elevators. For some reason, the elevators were almost always blocked, so it was impossible to get in. Maybe we were just "lucky", but we stayed for 9 days, and the busy elevator statistics did not change during this time. Room cleaning. According to the rules of this hotel, cleaning is done every other day. We were cleaned only once during the entire time. I think that making the bed in the room is unnecessary, but emptying the trash cans and changing the towels is worth it.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to Times Square, making it perfect for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel itself was spotless, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. It was evident that cleanliness is a top priority here. The added bonus of a complimentary breakfast was wonderful – a great way to start the day before heading out. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in the heart of New York City!

There was nothing we really didn't like. Just small details: - breakfast could have had a bit more variety of fruit (there were only oranges and apples) - the cleaning service could be better organised, however whenever we asked for the room to be cleaned in a certain block of time, the request was met and the room was always spotlessly clean and tidy.

I have stayed in many hotels on Manhattan but this one far the best.Great value for the money:family of four-room is big and clean,breakfast included in the price,close to Times Square,clean bathroom with everything you need(body lotion,shampoo,conditioner,...)You have to wait a little bit to come down from 23rd floor with elevator but I don't see a big deal about it. Great view from the room. We stayed in 2305 room.

For breakfast is always a big line,lots of visitors in this hotel,but you can wait-you are on holidays and good breakfast is all you need to start your day.

The location is awesome, the breakfast is good, comfortable rooms.

i didn't like staff attitude, first they charged me wrong amount at check-in 2212.55 however it was suppose to be 1710 + 250 = 1960, when i asked for breakup, the reception staff denied and replied that you get when you checkout, the day later when there was another staff, i mentioned that i got wrong charge to which he agreed and made adjustments. One of the major blunder they did is they didn't mention that their OMLETE have PORK sausages piece in it and i discovered while eating and confirmed what sausage it is and staff replied "PORK", AS I BEING MUSLIM THEY RUINED MY RELIGIOUS BELIEVE. The next day, they mentioned about it.

The staff that checked us in were PHENOMENAL and just so accommodating. I had called earlier to see if there were any rooms available as we were coming in an hour earlier than planned and our room was ready when we arrived and my daughter was surprised with a birthday treat -- just absolutely blew us away and still can't get over it. Having access to free breakfast was wonderful

Elevators were really frustrating. Thankfully we were on the 11th floor and only staying 2 nights as we had to take the stairs the majority of the time. If an elevator did happen to stop on our floor it was completely full and we had to wait for another one. We waited through SIX elevators the first morning before we just gave up. Getting our luggage down on checkout day took 28 minutes and we had to split up between parents and kids and luggage. At most hotels the breakfast varies, sausage one day and bacon the next. The sausage and omelets were very bland the first day so we were excited for bacon the next day but it was the same meal, and looked like it was just heated up from the day before. No real creamer options either.

Great location, with friendly hotel staff and top-notch room cleanliness. The American breakfast was good, and the Shell location is right next to Times Square. The hotel staff were very helpful with everything we requested, and there are elevators available. We were placed on a high floor with an amazing view.

Occasionally, there are groups of men near the hotel, which can make the area less pleasant to approach at night. However, this is common in many parts of New York.

Breakfast was free and AMAZING! We never had issues with it running out or with the large dining area being too crowded. Location is perfect. Easily walk all the fun in NYC but it’s quiet in the room. Rooms were clean, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved the elevators so I don’t know what the negative reviews on those are talking about. No doubt we will be staying here again

Rooftop is only open 8-8, which is completely fine except our days were so crammed full of activities we didn’t have time to go up. Not a “dislike” but I would have loved for it to be open later (or earlier).

The hotel is centrally located near Times Square, so if you want to explore the Great White Way and Times Square, the location cannot be beat. Hampton Inns always have good quality, and this one is no exception, although the layout is more vertical than usual because of the NYC location. The hotel is the closest one to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, so we like to stay there when en route from the airports to our home in upstate New York. The bus is cheaper than storing a car for more than a week or two. The hotel is decent, not great. The breakfast is good but mobbed. The staff was nice. A porter opened the door to the rooftop for us, which is worth a visit.

Everything was pretty good, so I have no real complaint. The breakfast is mobbed, but it's good.
