Great location,friendly staff ,excellent breakfast.

Even a small swimming pool , or plunge pool would enhance the overall enjoyment of the hotel. Lots of heat in the sauna but cooling down was more difficult. My biggest dislike was the added ten pounds a day parking fee which I was only informed about after booking. This really annoys me as it is just an added cost but hidden. It will prevent me from returning. I think that as a seasoned hotel resident it was an enjoyable experience if a bit overpriced.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Dinner and breakfast were very good, especially dinner.

I am not sure why you need to pay for parking. Surely it should only be non-guests that pay for parking?

Lovely setting, exceptional food in the restaurant small spa area if required. Decor nice and fitting to hotel, comfortable bed and good bathroom / shower.

£10 per night parking charge excessive for hotel like this in an area such as this. Should be included in the room rate not seen as an extra profit centre.🙁🙁🙁🙁 Breakfast food was good but should have been hotter.

Beautiful setting, beautiful grounds, comfortable room, good food, friendly staff.

The car parking charge - £10 per night. Food and drink are expensive. Gratuities added automatically to everything. We had two meals and a modest number of drinks which added up to more than the room booking. We'd stay again but eat out more

The hotel is very clean and fancy. Staff were great. Location is very good.

I was disappointed the sauna was broken and there was no compensation offered. Considering it is a spa hotel, the sauna is an important feature. Also, the bed was two singles pushed together, which you don’t expect at this price.

Hotel very clean Well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Staff helpful and professional Location very good

Limited dinner menu choice and choices not especially good Also expensive for the meals. Think the menu was changed for xmas period, should have been better.

The breakfast was good..we had dinner the night we arrived but apparently has stated on information in our room there is a discretional 7.50 added to our bill for staff tips...we found this to not be discretional has we wasnt told about it, and it is just added...The food in the restaurant was good but didn't match the price we paid for it..

Has above..

The breakfast was amazing although slightly hit and miss as different chefs were obviously on duty different days. The bedroom suite which we were upgraded to was fantastic. We didn’t use the spa because it was being worked on for a couple of days but it looked nice. We ate in the hotel restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food was fantastic.

I think parking should not be an additional charge for residents. The cooked breakfast could be more comparable (one day the scrambled eggs were beautifully soft, creamy and the next day they were solid, harder with no added ingredients). Also it might be appreciated to perhaps discount an evening meal if you are a resident.

Good choice of continental breakfast items. Hot breakfast freshly cooked and toaster was much better than other hotels. Dinner menu doesn't change throughout the season - but I had a different starter over the three nights and all were nice. I had salmon for main course on two evenings and it was very tasty; served with broccoli, roasted carrot and hasselback potato and sauce vierge. Used the spa twice. Clean area with lovely view from hydrotherapy pool.

Second visit to spa was spolied by other guests who 'reserved' the heated loungers by laying their robes and towels on them. A sign is need to prevent this - all facilities should be available to all guests.
