Excellent standard apartment in the heart of Edinburgh just 5 mins walk from George Street. Spacious and comfortable living area and bedrooms. Very good value at around half the price of similar hotel accommodation for 4. Several breakfast options available nearby.
Although we didn't cook in the apartment, the kitchen seemed a little under equipped but so many eating options in the New Town. Also a basket of teabags and a coffee machine were available but as far as we could see no coffee pods provided. But that's a niggle. We stayed in a basement flat at street level but it wasn't noisy.

Good location, clean and comfortable
No hooks for coats, overpriced in my opinion even for easter season. Wifi for our apartment was missing, but we were able to connect through another network. Check in information convoluted in a long booking message, it should really be a separate message with straightforward details. While the apartment looks modern clean and shiny, it really lacks small details for the price we paid.

Amazing! Gained early access to the apartment for a small fee and I was blown away when I entered the door. Great size with the lounge room and bedroom at opposite ends and 2 toilets available - this was a winner, especially travelling with more than yourself. Another key factor that separates this place from a hotel is being able to access fresh air either in the bedroom or in the lounge room at any time. High selling point was the washing machine facility. I stayed in apartment 1, which is on the lower level, which meant it was on the darker side - which I didn’t mind this as it allowed a sleep in without any issues. Fresh towels delivered every other day and bins emptied. I would recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Edinburgh- and I will be back to stay if I visit again.
Only downside of apartment 15/1 was there were stairs to go down to the apartment door. This can be problematic if you have large and heavy suitcases. This was a minor issue but was worth it for the apartment.

The apartment is really beautiful. It has everything you need, including washing pods, dishwasher tablets, plenty of tea, milk, coffee pods, the water and Prosecco was a lovely touch too. High end body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer, fan, and bathrobes with slippers. Nice little outdoor area to sit in. 2 bathrooms with amazing rain fall showers. Everything was spotless. The area is fantastic. There’s a Cantonese restaurant right next door, a wine bar and a pub. Across the road to the right there’s a bakery and a Tesco express. Across the road to the left there’s a lovely place called new town fox which does amazing breakfasts and coffee. Further up to the left there’s more restaurants and pubs. We went in Bucks bar and the Irish bar, both were good. I’d definitely recommend. The hosts are brilliant too and extremely pleasant and helpful. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Christmas markets and Edinburgh station, or 3 minute in an uber, which we paid around £5. Can’t wait to return.

Great location in New Town and short walk from Old town. Plenty of restaurants pubs etc in close proximity, lovely little cafe for breakfast opposite and also a tesco express. The apartments are spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, the showers just heavenly. Beds are comfy, heating is super powerful, everything is top quality. We had a generous selection of biscuits and various teas, it also has a Nespresso machine. Even the door buzzer has 24 access to the Scotsman concierge at at the touch of a button. We had a slight glitch with our keypad and they resolved it within minutes, Simone followed up by email to check everything was ok, and responded really quickly. Fantastic team, thanks for looking after us during a special occasion, for my 40th birthday, everything was just perfect 🥰

Lots of breakfast options around the area. Very close to Dean Village and Stockwell Markets. Clean areas, a little outdoor space at the back, nice giant double bed. We really enjoyed the flat.
We bought our own coffee pods as there were only 4 pods and for 2 people staying for 3 nights; it was not even covering 1 coffee each. Also in the morning, there was a strong cigarette smell coming from the ventilation system. As I am sensitive to smell, I was woken up by the cigarette smell.

Central and able to walk to most places. Actually loved the below street level vibe. Although stairs and luggage was a small challenge but not a major one. Very well appointed with a dedicated work space which was put to good use. Loved the huge bed although pillows were not that great. Also loved the supplies provided- Prosecco, biscuits, plenty of tea, coffee, etc, washing and shower products. Check in and out easy with great instructions and communication. Able to leave luggage at sister hotel on check out.
Struggled with the washing machine/dryer but sure if I had asked I would have got some help! Very poor mobile coverage but able to get coverage at top of stairs. No1 wifi was no good but could connect to No2 with same password and no problems.

Great location, close to all that Newtown has to offer and only a short bus ride into the Oldtown ( the bus stop is 20 m away ) . A supermarket across the road was convenient. The apartment is spacious with a very comfortable bed , nice amenities and good quality towels and linens. The washing machine was very handy after a few days of travelling.A small outside terrace to sit if the weather is nice ( make sure you don’t lock yourself out as there is no key for this door )
A weird kitchen set up Virtually no phone reception as the apartment is down under street level Wifi wasn’t working when we stayed and had to use the apartment next door

Loved the location. Easy to get in and out. The apartment is decorated very nicely and we were very comfortable. It had a nice garden to sit outside even though it was a basement apartment it really didn't feel like it. The bedroom was dark and cozy and very quiet. The Scotsman Hotel - very friendly staff and took care of my bags for my last day in the city. I also had a nice meal at the Grand Cafe.
Wifi. We had trouble accessing the network/wifi from inside the apartment - we had to sit in the hallway to get it to work which made it challenging to plan our days. It took almost 24 hours to get it up and running. There is a strange space in the bedroom that was covered with fake greenery. It smelled of plastic/mildew when the door was open - I was hoping to get some fresh air in there.

We love the fact that this home came with 2 bathrooms meaning we could get ready a lot faster. The location was also a bonus as we were able to walk to most of the tourist attractions. This apartment having an outdoor section but also the indoor garden was beautiful. This apartment had all the perks of an apartment but also the perks of a hotel. We loved being able to have a home away from home.
One of our fresh towels were dirty and so was the bathroom slippers - most likely they forgot to pick them up. Remote for the tv also needed new batteries but easily fixed as they had another remote.
