Beautiful frontage and reception. Staff were so welcoming, offering us tea/coffee while we were waiting for our room( we were early) Our room was beautiful, I don't think I have ever stayed in such an immaculately clean hotel.. Nothing was too much trouble, advise on area, underground places to wat etc. We were given a complimentary breakfast, and wow, the quality of food and how it was prepared was top quality. The scrambled eggs are a must. Pastries, full cooked breakfast, and continental. The staff all work really hard yo make your stay the best it can be and they succeed. The area is perfect, we 100% recommend this beautiful hotel.

The hotel was lovely, clean and welcoming, the staff were excellent and it was a 2 minute walk to the tube station which was great but was still in a nice quiet side road

No telephone in the room and no bedside lights

It was very clean, staff was nice, price was fair, location is good. and the room has amneties like slippers, bathrobe etc

During winter the room got very cold. even with the heating on, and the AC sounds like a leafblower. I discovered it was cold because the window has the classic gap thru witch cold air was coming in so I plugged it with a lot of paper towels and then it was ok. but you can't sleep with AC on because it sounds really loud. so overall it is very cold during the night. the room sensor was of. it said 22, while my thermometer said 17. the breakfast was vey basic. but whatever we were fine with that. We didnt like the bed, Its like the fluffy tucked sheets style, but for some people mght be good. I would stay again during warmer seasons

We had a really lovely and memorable stay at Ellen Kensington - the staff were very personable and helpful all the way. Initially we had a small issue with our room which was promptly resolved, leaving us very happy overall. The breakfast was very tasty and the facilities very atmospheric. Mark and his team went above and beyond to make sure that we had a pleasant stay and location too was excellent. Having stayed at this hotel really made our trip even more special! Will definitely return, as well as recommend to our friends and family. Thank you!

The staff were excellent and very helpful. They were extremely willing to help us with anything we asked for. The room was good overall, although small. It had a nice selection of toiletries and daily water replenishment. The location was very good, with the metro less than 5 minutes away and with many shops around.

While there was a small workspace, which was essentially a place to leave your everyday belongings, the room could have benefited from some additional storage, such as hooks or shelves. It would also have been helpful to have bedside tables, even small ones, as there was nowhere to place anything next to the bed. Individual reading lights would have been a welcome addition, so as not to disturb the other person when needing light at night. The breakfast was a standard English breakfast, which was fine, but we personally missed having fresh bread and a wider selection of fruit.

Located with easy walking distance of Earls Court Underground. Thye did say that the hotel was not 100% finished but I must say I didn't notice anything missing except some facilities like gym. The staff were exceptionally helpful, my room was a nice size by London standards and the breakfast was really top class. The hotel is so close to many local restaurants and pubs. Really enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend the Ellen Hotel

Nothing but will be interested to see the finished Hotel. The restaurant has an "oriental" vibe and look and feel which may not be to everyone's taste so I would suggest they invest in a better extraction fan unit as there was "oriental" restaurant smells in the foyer at times

The staff were very welcoming upon arrival and let us know to use the other elevator as the main one was out of order. The room was super tidy and had all we needed. The complimentary breakfast was a massive plus to the stay.

The rooms are almost too small. It’s around the size of 2 of the beds in width and just longer than the length of the bed. As a taller person getting around the bathroom is a bit tight, but manageable. Lastly and what I found most annoying, was that the TV isn’t positioned in front of the bed and the walk mount does not rotate so that it can comfortably be viewed from the bed.

Fantastic location! Very convenient, just steps away from the underground station and situated in a beautiful neighborhood. Delicious English breakfast and friendly attentive stuff. All my request were fulfilled before my arrival.

The green light on the ceiling (from some kind of sensor) and the light from the mini-fridge. I prefer sleeping in complete darkness, so this was inconvenient for me. The bathroom was also quite small.

We had a lovely stay at the Ellen hotel the staff were amazing very polite and extremely helpful, the lady on reception made our weekend she had such a bubbly character and had a constant smile on her face (sorry but couldn’t remember her name)

The only small issue was the rooms were a little on the small side but hey you only sleep in them so not a problem for us it didn’t spoil our stay.
