The hotel is in an excellent location convenient for all public transport. Getting around is fairly easy from here. The bed was really comfortable and the room valeted each day. Good powerful shower.

While all the facilities were there, the room we had was cramped, especially the bathroom. I have included a picture of the gap between the loo and the sink with my uk size 8 in frame for scale.

- The location was central and was within walking distance of Oxford Circus and tube stations. - The room was compact, but in some ways it didn't matter because it had everything you could want in that room. - Reasonably quiet so good for sleeping. - Good breakfast and selection and reasonably priced. - The room had been cleaned well. - The staff were professional and polite.

- The only thing I can think of that's a true negative is the amount of stairs but you're always going to get that with these London townhouses.

The location of the hotel is very good. Just a few minutes from the Baker Street, beautiful quiet district with many attractions. The hotel room was very comfortable, all the necessities are provided, includes every-day cleaning.

The only one minus I can mention is shower( the hot water comes after a few minutes and the strength of showering became lower. Everything else was good.

Location was excellent 20 minute walk from Euston station or 10 minutes away from the nearest tube. It's a family run hotel which is a bit run down but it was clean and cheap for a few days in London.

Shower could have been better, ended up with water everywhere. Didn't know that we had to go to another hotel for breakfast tilll the next morning when we were heading for breakfast!

This hotel is located close enough to underground station and not far from lots of sightseeing. Hotel workers are pretty polite. Breakfast are nutritious and delicious. The room is small, but you may get everything you needed (iron and desk for ironing, etc.)

The room is really small and old enough. You may decide it as part of old England vibe — but be ready that it won't be very spacious and modern. We also get some misunderstanding with payment, but tried to deal with it as far as it was possible at that particular moment.

I liked that they addressed all my queries and tried to accommodate all my requests. I was in the area for a surgery I was having and they were extremely friendly and supportive. They moved me to the hotel with a working lift as the one I got didnt have a working lift and I was on the top floor, they gave me extra pillow and a fan when I asked and we're very friendly.

That there was no fan initially in the room. The room was so hot

Amazing location. Lovely area and really easy to get to lots of top London attractions by foot or tube. Pleasant room, spotlessly clean and a really comfortable temperature. The street was quiet so we could keep the window open and not be disturbed. Will definitely stay again next time I am in London.

You could tell the decor has not been recently updated and looked tired in places

Everything went very well. My stay was very short (I arrived around 5pm, and quickly went out, returning around 1am and was then out bright and early), meaning that I didn't have time to explore the facilities. However, my room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a quick overnight stay. It was also quiet and I was upgraded to a double room, which was nice. From what I saw, the hotel look nicely appointed and the staff were helpful, so I think it deserves its rating. It's also in a nice location. Overall, I would would happily use the hotel again.

Whilst it didn't affect me (I was travelling light and only had to go down one floor), I did observe that the lift was out, which would have been a nuisance for somebody with more luggage who was on a higher floor. Similarly, disabled access looked liked it could be challenging (at least three steps at the front entrance) but this didn't look like it would necessarily be easy to rectify. However, this would probably be okay once you were in the property, provided the lift was working.

A very good price for a central London location. Room was small and basic, but had everything and to a standard I expected from a budget hotel. Would absolutely stay there again. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Quite a bit of noise very early one morning when a couple of men were having a heated argument in the courtyard (not sure who the courtyard belonged to) but didn't expect a London hotel to be quiet! I just should have taken ear plugs.

The location is excellent, about 5 mins from Baker Street underground. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the checkin process was very easy. The room itself was fine for what we needed, it was simple but clean. The single beds were comfy enough and the room was a good temperature. There is a mini fridge which was handy for keeping drinks in.

The only real issue we had was with noise as it's an old building so it's just natural acoustics which is a shame as it's not something you can do anything about. Ear plugs would be a must if you're a light sleeper (can't say if all rooms have same issue). The bathroom in our particular room was quite narrow at bits and the toilet was extremely close to the wall so someone with long legs would struggle. I'm 5ft 4 and even I had to turn at a slight angle.
