The staff were amazing, especially Tammy on the front desk and Mohammed at the restaurant. Housekeeping and reception were all amazing too. They helped us so much and made our stay so much better with their kindness and patience. The location of the hotel was perfect to us and it was easy to get to many places as it was in the middle of everything. I had to pop out a couple of times by myself but felt safe as the location of the hotel was right on the main road close to everything. We walked to central park which only took about 15 mins which was lovely for the children. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection to choose from for us and the kids. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for everything xxx

The hotel had a great location and many amenities that made my stay enjoyable.

was disappointed to find that wifi internet was not complimentary. In this day and age, it is unacceptable for a hotel to not provide free wifi to its guests. the lack of free wifi was a major inconvenience. As someone who travels frequently, having reliable internet access is a necessity and I was frustrated to have to pay extra for it. I would still recommend this hotel, but I would advise others to be aware of the additional cost for wifi. It's time for hotels to step up and provide this essential service to their guests for free.

Excellent location! Front Desk staff and Omar the concierge were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs.

The overall lighting, especially in the elevator to see the floor numbers could be improved upon.

The staff are very hospitable and provided unmatched customer service. Destiny at the front desk is AMAZING and represents the brand extremely well. She is professional and her personality makes you feel welcomed and right at home. Omar with the concierge helped us out tremendously! He has amazing interpersonal skills and communication was very clear. His insights were invaluable! All of the staff were so kind, patient, and pleasant! The location is top tier. Literally steps from what you see as "the" Times Square. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and eateries, close to the subway, and gives you all the access you need to navigate the city quickly, safely and enjoyably. The food and beverage credit is an excellent touch. The menu is limited, but enough options for a nice meal when you're late coming in or just don't feel like the hustle and fuss of the busy streets. Make good use of the destination fee! The included central park bike tickets were a fave for us. The check in and out process was efficient. Bikes were in good condition. There was a nice breeze and the trek wasn't too bad for those with at least a moderate exercise level. A few uphill pushes, but good workout nonetheless.

There was nothing that wasn't pleasant about this stay. Wonderful job on all fronts.

This hotel was in the center of Times Square…close to many restaurants, stores, and even near the stops for the hop off/hop on buses. The rooms were bigger than I expected since the previous hotel rooms I’ve stayed at in New York City have been smaller. Facility and rooms were clean and well kept. The views from the restaurant were all great! Literally in the center of it all!

Didn’t like that there was an extra destination fee, kind of forces you to spend $30 extra a day in the facility. If you don’t use it, you lose it. A bit noisy but that’s because of the area, though this didn’t bother us.

Delicious and freshly made breakfast. Makes a difference on how you start your day!

Paid wifi

Excellent location on 7th avenue right next to Times Square. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They have very fast lifts to their top level rooms. They gave us 2 complimentary tickets to the statue of liberty and discounts for breakfast.

Their breakfast was not to the Marriott standard as I would have expected.

Great location with an amazing view from the restaurant, spacious and comfortable rooms, and outstanding services by all of the staff, especially the reception and concierge staff. We had a fantastic time during our stay in Renaissance and would like to stay here again for the next trip. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable.

All good for me

The location was central to places we wanted to explore, the bar staff ( a lady) was very accommodating with requests, the concierge was very helpful in booking our airport pickup and maintained professionalism. The cleaning staff too were really helpful with our requests.
