Location is the best, when you step out the hotel you are literally at Times square. The lady at the reception desk was very nice and helpful.

The room is really small, but we were out all day so we only slept in it. I didn't like taking the deposit at check in because we had to wait for almost one month after we checked out to get the money back on our account.

We booked this hotel 30 minutes before going into it. We had another hotel that had some very big issues and we found this one available. We love the photos and the location and we decided to go with it. The moment we entered, we could see how professional and amazing this hotel is. The staff was incredibly friendly and they explained to us all their rules and the reasons for the fees. We finalized the check-in in less than 5 minutes and we got our keys. We stayed on the 6th floor. We didn't ask for extra cleaning because the place was very clean. The room was in a great spot and if you love the traffic sound, that's the place to be because it's right on Times Square. The hotel provided us with earplugs. There is also the hair dryer and the vault to keep your personal things safe. Great location and great staff! We had a wonderful experience and the price was just right! We love it!

Personally, I don't think there is something could have done better. Two calls out are the noise of the location. You are always going to hear sirens, traffic, and much more. You are in Times Square, so be ready for all these noises. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this is not the right hotel for you. The second one is the room sizes. They are quite small. So if you have some sort of claustrophobia, make sure to double-check with the hotel before. They might have some bigger rooms, but I'm sure. I personally loved my room and everything was great, so I didn't have to ask for anything bigger than what I got.

Spacious bathroom and great location.

Had to jump through loops for my Security deposit to come in. Not sure why they didn't put it back the same day I left like ALL other hotels. Not happy at all when it comes to people trying to keep your money. Not Good Att ALL. Actually very bad. B3sides that. The room was clean, large bathroom and good overall. Just don't mess with people's hard earned money. I'm currently still waiting aa I communicated with OYO, theytold me 14 days for refund, (Unacceptable for sure). I left on the 8th and called on the 20th 👀SMH but credit card company handled it.

Location and staff are great!

Weirdly, the rooms were very clean, but the public facing spaces (halls, stairs, lobby) were very dirty and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. Construction was distracting, but they have to keep the building up to date.. Lastly, not a bad thing necessarily, it offers virtually nothing more than a bed, tv, nightstand, and bathroom. For thr the little that is offered, however, the cost should be lower. "ResortFee" is a rip off that many hotels charge, but OYO is exceptionally far from a "resort," adding insult to injury.

People on the corridors where noisy and the maid where knocking on my door at 9 am for house keeping I said that I didn’t need it (from inside) then she knocked again about 30 minutes before it was check out time She called the manager (I think it was the manager, it was a guy on a suit) and when I left the room they both where outside They didn’t say anything to me but I felt uneasy (since it was not checkout time yet) very weird I don’t know if they thought I left earlier without checking out or something like that

Location, Location, Location! Really could't be any better, literally a 30sec walk to times square. The staff were so friendly and helpful. As a place to sleep and be close to all of the action, couldn't get better.

The rooms are really small. Walking around the bed requires some bending over to avoid hitting the TV on the wall kinda small! I had problems with heating in 2 rooms, first had no heating, second sounded like a jet engine in the room with the heating on. Staff moved me immediately and were extremely helpful though

This Hotel is a true case of a "best kept secret" and for the first time in all of my reviews I was tempted to keep it for myself so I can use it again. Staying in Manhattan can be challenging but finding a clean and quiet room in the center of everything at a price of a pourly furnished Airbnb place is a down right miracle. OYO Times Square was renovated this year and it is the best value you could possibly find in NYC at this time. For about $200 per night, you'll get a small clean room with basics. There is not enough space here for 2 fat people (sorry for being crude) but otherwise it is all you need. Everything works great - carpeted floors and hallways, tasteful colors with no flash, good lighting, proper shower and sink and a comfortable queen sized bed with quality bedding. There is no hot water cattle or a fridge in here but you do get a safe and a flat screen tv. The built in AC is excellent and quiet. The room was so quiet (while just 50 meters from the center of Times Square) that I had to pinch myself several times - it is hard to believe it.... so if you're looking for a safe, clean and affordable place in Manhattan you have just found one!

Front desk was better than expected, very accommodating and helpful. The doorman was doggy and tried to put me on a $90 taxi ride to JFK. (flat rate that yellow cab has to offer you is just $65 for JFK, $35 for LaGuardia airport)

Staff were so friendly, location was great. Staying in Times Square is perfect for getting around everywhere! Clean, they have a taxi service too when you want to check out and go to the airport. I’ve seen people complain about the noise but we have no complaints regarding that at all! Would deffo recommend and book again.

Rooms are a little small but you can work with it!

Great location right in Times Square. Close to subway access, stores and restaurants/bars. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Entry was secured at night and felt very safe as well as keycard access required for the elevator.

Lower floor rooms can be noisy due to street traffic. The room itself was quite small and AC/utilities were somewhat loud. The fixtures in the bathroom were subpar (shelf over the sink was loose/tilted). Elevators were very small.

The location was definitely the best, loved that there were food trucks outside 24/7. There’s super hot water for showers which is an extra bonus

The only thing I did not like was the wait time for the elevators. We should be allowed to use the room key to open the door for the stairs from the bottom to our room, to avoid the traffic with the elevators.
