Loved the location, the price, and the food! Best continental hotel breakfast I have had in years! The cinnamon buns and coffee were great. It was close to all the attractions and 10 mins for the the train station. Felt like everything was at our fingertips.

If possible having two stations for breakfast as it got very crowded and we were in line for a while. By the time you got to the warm food it was almost gone then had to wait for it to come back out.

The front desk clerk Michelle is a VIP access to this hotel!! Her warm welcoming to us for our first visit to NY was great, plus she gave us tips on great restaurants to eat at and places to visit!! Breakfast wasn't bad at all and they need to be mindful that a lot of us don't eat pork in which I was accommodated on. I give her five 🌟

What I didn't like was the elevator situation. By my room being on the 36th floor was a great view but small and it was explained. It was a struggle with the low quality lighting, which was tough enough trying to do some work. The problem was in the afternoon and evenings a few times we had to wait over 20 minutes just for an elevator and had my Uber charge me for not showing up in their timeframe, which was an out of pocket expense. They need to get their 2nd elevator fix with such a busy establishment.

The hotel was situated perfectly for all the things I wanted to do. The room was comfortable in size and the breakfast was awesome. The staff greeted me with pleasant faces and accommodated holding my luggage while I toured the City on my first and last day in New York. Being in Times Square was exceptional.

Although alot of people complained about the slowness of the elevators, I did not experience that at all. But, I am an early riser, and was back in the room before 8:00 PM every night I was there, so I am assuming that's why I didn't experience the same slowness as everyone else did.

Oddly enough, they had excellent bathroom soaps/lotions. Most places offer the bare minimum in terms of providing these, but this place went above and beyond to provide excellent quality products. They also had a wonderful spread for breakfast options; a little something for everybody.

The "view of the skyline" met the bare minimum; it only showed the Empire State Building and other hotel on the opposite side of the street. The wifi was also a bit difficult. Their network would not show up while in my room initially; I had to go down to the main lobby to connect, and even then it had trouble staying connected in my room and was rather slow.

Love the free breakfast. Asia got everything we needed and was extremely pleasant. Alysse was by far the most engaging, phenomenal, and courteous service professional at the front desk. She did her endeavor best with the hand she was dealt with . She is extremely amazing, I will definitely recommend this hotel because of her. The other lady who did not give a name was rude!

We didn't like that the only working elevator had to be assisted by an operator, and we had to call the front desk to retrieve us from the floors. Also I lost one of my bags between taxi transits in front of the hotel, which was not the hotels fault. Although there should be operational cameras in front of the hotel in the event that something like that happens.

This is a great hotel when you consider a budget with location. We literally walked to EVERYTHING we wanted to see except the 9/11 Memorial and the Brooklyn Bridge. It is literally just a few blocks from Times Square and most sights are walkable without much effort. The breakfast was an egg and sausage protein each day along with breads, fruits, cereal, oatmeal and beverages. Rooms were clean.

I don't like the reviews people leave. This hotel is literally one of the least expensive hotels in the whole city. YES, rooms are small. YES, the breakfast wasn't huge. BUT, you are getting the financial savings for a decent breakfast, a clean room with your beds, and all of that. If you want a huge hotel experience then pay the money for it. Our stay did what we needed: gave us a good start to the morning with a free breakfast, proximity to everything, a safe place to sleep, and cable tv.

The location is great. Within walking distance of Penn Station and Broadway shows. Breakfast included is an added value as well as free water upon request. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The lifts can take long to arrive but I did not have a problem with that. The walls in the corridors could maybe be touched up or refreshed a bit? But this too did not bother me much as the hotel is kept nice and clean.

Location - excellent. Right next to 8th Avenue so next door to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and the start and end of the hop on hop off bus. Walking distance of the major tourist sites. Room - excellent. Clean, warm, cosy. Large and bright. Study desk and TV. Bathroom was excellent with toiletries provided. Tea and coffee available in the room and in reception. Breakfast - great variety and choice. No shortages. Available 6am to 10am. Great way to start the day.

My key card did not work a few times and I had to head back to reception to get it reset.

Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Some similar class hotels could learn from them. Though the rooms are small, they are comfortable. Breakfast and breakfast staff are nice.

Hotel could use a refresh (carpet in rooms specifically). That being said, it is clean but dated. Elevators are crowded and slow, so taking the stairs can be useful.
