We had the top floor to ourselves, with two rooms, bathroom and two sitting areas. That worked out well for a family of 5. The staff was helpful, and the children enjoyed the pool. It is close to restaurants, shops and warungs. Overall it is good value for money.

Though there is a beach nearby this is not a nice place to swim. So you have to walk a bit to get to Kuta beach. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in our “kitchen”, but even an electric kettle would be a good improvement. So would drinking water, so we did not have to use a ton of plastic bottles and carry them to the 3rd floor. WiFi did not work inside our rooms.

I’ve stayed at Susi’s multiple times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Its lifeblood is the people! Susi and her family are kind, generous and trustworthy. You will feel relaxed, safe, and right at home! Susi’s local knowledge is invaluable - she can arrange boats/cars to surf breaks, transport, tell you where to eat and where the best sunsets spots are, explain about the local culture, and if you’re lucky you might even get an invite to a local wedding!! Other draw-cards: - great central location within walking distance to all the main restaurants - safe gated compound and overnight security - comfortable, clean rooms - easy to rent scooters here at a great rate (and no scams like elsewhere) - supporting a local business - surf break knowledge and tips And she makes yummy banana pancakes!!!

I would highly recommend Kuta Bay Homestay! The staff are outstanding, extreamly helpful and friendly. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, comfortable and offered us valuable local advice and help with our travel plans. We were even fortunate to be able to visit a local wedding with Susi, which was a real cultural experienece. The location was fantastic, very close to many great resturants, shops and surf sports via motor bike. The view from our room on the top floor was stunning, where we had a view of the beach. The pool was nice and the rooms were very spacious and clean. Kuta Bay Homestay is owned and run by a local family, so I really enjoyed learning about and being a part of Indonesian culture.

I didn't like leaving Kuta Bay Homestay, it was hard to say goodbye! We extended our trip to stay longer at Kuta Bay Homestay because we enjoyed it so much. I lool forward to visiting again soon!

Friendly staff, easy to rent a motorcycle, very good banana pancakes and Lombok coffee made by Lempia. They were ready to help me with everything and make me feel at home. No hot shower but okay with the hot weather. Wi-fi worked well and I could work everyday without any problem. Susi was great for me during my stay making me feel at home. Always asked for cleaning my room. Good swim pool to relax. Very good location in Kuta Lombok.

The bathroom needs some maintenance.

The stay at Kuta bay homestay was one of our nices experience on our travels through Lombok. Besides the very central but still calm location in kuta and all the little comforts (scooter rental, laundry, visa extension,…), it was the staff that was the highlight. The staff were so kind. Susi was a very helpful and responsive host. The family room was very spacious very spacious. It is comprised of 2 bedrooms each with a queen and twin and a breezeway between them and then a bathroom and seating area outside of the space. Cheap scooter rentals. Great scooters.

Walking up steep stairs to the 3rd floor every time we forgot something.

The location is perfect, so close to nice beaches and downtown.Everything was super clean, pool was super, breakfast as well. The workers are super helpful and kind. Sussi helped us with everything. She gave us best deals for everything

There's nothing to complain about

Staff was so friendly. They offered me coffee and helped met with the transfer for the next day.

They put me in the wrong room first (by accident, no problem!) fixed it and gave me the right room, wich was way better than te first one. The room with two 2-person beds was great, clean and lots of windows.

Without any doubt Kutabay Homestay is the best place to stay! Facilities are all that you need to make your stay perfect! The location is just in the center, if you don’t drive you can easily walk everywhere! Amazing staff and Susi will try to help you with everything, she is lovely! 💚

we arrived to ask if they have a room available and we could check in right away. staff was very friendly and room where clean! had a very good time there. also the pool was super nice to hang out
