Our 1st time away to celebrate Hogmany as usually spent with family at home , However on arrival in Inveraray we were immediately impressed by the location and loved our room over looking the loch, Food was well priced and the service was excellent, Included the Caleigh which offered a 3 course meal with a glass of champagne also piped into the venue and piper for the bells this does cost extra to the cost of your stay, However, loved the decor and set tables although thought there would have been more tables and people as it was a large room. This did not in anyway spoil our night , The 2 guys who played throughout the night were amazing considering people were shy to dance and they worked really hard to ensure everyone had a great time even giving information on to how to do the various different Scottish dances it was a lot of fun and many laughs had by all .... Would recommend a stay and bet it's amazing in the summer months ? also extremely Dog friendly and child friendly .
The bar and restaurant are connected and staff are attending to both areas which means at busy times you may have to wait a while to be served also encountered a member of staff who admittedly was young and obviously hired for the season but unfortunately when we asked some questions relating to our stay, her answer left a lot to be desired she also didn't help in our enquiries which was disappointing !

Excellent location. Good sized room overlooking Loch Fyne. Adequate parking ( sometimes filled by local events) Good food and menu choice, including breakfasts. Two bars with very good selection of drinks. Wonderful staff who were helpful and attentive at all times. Thoroughly recommend this as a base for exploring the local area.
As a seasoned traveller, it had everything I required. I have no complaint with any aspect of the hotel or its staff., my only slight downside was the Hotel free open WIFI, which was a bit "patchy", but it was free, so....

Spotlessly clean, cosy, well decorated, and very comfortable room with a lovely view of loch. Plenty of plug points and a well-lit desk/ dressing table area with an additional full-length mirror on the wall, which was useful. The bathroom was pristine and had a great shower, lots of white fluffy towels, and lovely toiletries. I slept soundly each night. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (and I said this the last time I stayed too!). Staff were all friendly, kind, and very professional. They could not do enough for me and looked out for me as I was travelling on my own. Claire on reception was especially kind and helpful. The dinners each night were delicious, as were the breakfasts. I'd single out the steak pie as being particularly tasty. The staff serving meals both morning and evening were friendly, hard working, and professional even when it was very busy. I had a really great stay for 3 nights and wished I could have stayed even longer, despite the weather being rather unpredictable for July! Inveraray is a beautiful, picturesque wee town and is a good base for touring Argyll, being close to Oban & Mull, Kilmartin Glen, Crinan, and Kintyre.
Nothing. I'd happily go back and stay even longer. It's a great hotel in a wonderful location.

The Inn has a lovely location right in the centre of Inveraray facing the front with an excellent view over the loch. There is not much too Inveraray so it is close to everything there is - most notably the Castle. The room was clean and comfortable with the bathroom particularly nice. My brother and I ate in the restaurant one night which provided good food at decent prices.
For the west coast it was a pretty warm weekend, and unfortunately the room I had was right at the top of the building so very hot - a fan would have been helpful to help cool it down and make sleeping easier! Somewhat disappointed that it was about the only room without a view.

Nice spot on the Loch and right next door to the castle. I booked an extra large room so plenty of space. It an old building with little updates so stairs only no lift. We were on the 2 nd floor so had to lug back up the circular stairs. Not fun! We are in the restaurant the food was a pleasant surprise as food in the UK has so far been well below par. Breakfast was not as good. I had smashed avo with a poached egg. The egg was over cooked and the avo was on normal toast so it didn’t hold up and it was soggy from the water from the poached egg. Breakfast failed dinner winner.
Breakfast not well cooked

The location and view from the bedroom window were the main reasons for choosing this particular hotel. The food and public areas were of a high standard and made the stay both enjoyable and relaxing.
Being required to inform a surly barmaid what outside table number I would be sitting at for coffee, before I had actually been outside, when there was no other people outside anyway.and no possibility of confusing the coffee order. Room felt a little too warm and stuffy, despite the room heating being turned off.

We had breakfast and evening meal, both of which were excellent with a good selection of options and sensibly priced. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the loch. The hotel has a traditional feel but with all mod cons and was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The staff were very helpful.
Although there was no lift (as advised), the stairs were wider than expected and very manageable - maybe I should have this in the "like" section!

Beautiful view of the loch from a lovely clean and comfortable room. Great bed! Great shower! The food was excellent, both breakfasts and dinners. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. I cannot recommend this lovely hotel highly enough. Very good base to explore Argyll. Have already booked another stay for next summer and may even be back again before then :)
Nothing! That's why I keep coming back here.

Great location overlooking Loch Fyne this hotel built in the 1750's had lovely friendly helpful staff. Our room on the first floor had ample space for 3 adults with huge bay windows with partial view of the loch. Lovely and cosy with a lovely hot shower in the morning. Can highly recommend the Loch Fyne mussels for dinner. Cannot get any fresher than just across the road. Excellent hot and cold buffet options available for breakfast. Loved everything thing about the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
No complaints what so ever. The location views staff all awesome.

Everything went smoothly and was satisfactory. Friendly staff and clean facilities. No main issues and would stay again (in a different room ideally).
The room was at the very back of the Hotel on the first floor. Getting there was a mission with a flight of stairs (no lift) with a wheeled luggage. You needed to keep walking, and down a few more steps and passing through the emergency exit. The room was also slightly small with a low ceiling but other than that everything was good just for a night :)
