A lovely hotel in a stunning location. Our room was fantastic! Very spacious with a large comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and nice and warm on a cold winters evening. Can’t wait to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves in the beautiful Inveraray.

Our room was located at the front of the property and there was a little noise during the night from traffic. This was however, made clear when we booked and the room included a complimentary ‘sleep pack’ consisting of ear plugs should we have needed them, which was a lovely touch. This would certainly not prevent us booking again in future.

Modern, stylish and comfortable room in the middle of town. Our one was well set back from the road so no noise disturbance but earplugs and eye mask are provided which is a nice touch. There's a big bathroom with great shower and bath. It's within a stones throw of a few bars/restaurants and shops and very near the loch shore where there are stunning views. The complimentary buffet breakfast had lots of variety and was very tasty. Staff at the cafe were welcoming and it was easy to check in.

There was confusion over breakfast timings - the emails and host who checked us in said 7.30 but the cafe staff weren't expecting us until 8. Thankfully they were accommodating and let us in out the cold and got it set up a little early

Brambles was in prime location on the main high street meaning it was very easy to get to attractions like the jail and castle as well as the local pubs and restaurants. The breakfast had plenty of options and I was so glad to see gluten free cereal on offer as a coeliac. You could order a hot breakfast for an additional cost and there were very good options available. I loved having a bath in our room, it felt like a real luxury. The room and bathroom were both very big and spacious and spotless. It felt like they had thought of everything from having a welcome pack and area guide to hot drink facilities plus the bed was so comfortable:

It is worth being aware that in our room (in November 2024), the settings of the shower were reversed. For example, if you wanted the shower to be on rainfall you had to turn the handle to the shower head option, not rainfall.

As a last minute booking I wasn't sure of what I would find . I loved the location. On arrival we were greeted like long lost friends and our luggage was taken to our room. The room itself was immaculate and spacious with a lovely walk in shower and plenty of tea and coffee. ( including caramel wafers ). Help is never far away if needed from the staff. Breakfast is served in the cafe. There is a continental option but we chose to pay extra for a cooked breakfast . Simply amazing !!! Staff are so friendly and helpful and made our time enjoyable.

The staircase to the room is a spiral staircase which I struggled a little bit with as I have slight mobility issues but it didn't impact on my stay.

Lovely stay here - the arrival was great, the guy who checked us in in the cafe/restaurant was welcoming and gave us a warm vibe. Staff were all friendly and warm throughout our stay. Check in was straightforward and quick, straight up to our room. Our room itself (I think it was Room 4) was absolutely lovely - very spacious and cosy, and modernised nicely but retaining the traditional country hotel feeling. Room was very clean. Included a Scottish ‘Caramel’ biscuit for each guest, and some local ‘Campbell’ coffee! The breakfast was also great, down in their cafe/restaurant with a good spread selection, and you could order full breakfast dishes (full Scottish, etc) for an extra cost. Location is ideal if you’re visiting Inveraray castle - is 5 mins away, and hotel is on the Main Street of Inveraray with charming little shops and cafes. A few great restaurants nearby too, but I recommend booking them ahead of time as are small and full up quickly! We ate at the George Hotel across the road which was fab. We also got free on-street parking right outside the door of the hotel which was lucky! There’s also two big car parks nearby. We will be coming back to Brambles soon for a stay to climb the hill behind the castle - thanks for a wonderful stay.

At check-in, I asked if there was a room away from the Main St, which is a major trunk road and can be noisy through the night. I offered to pay for an upgrade, but was given a room well back from the road at no extra charge. The room itself was spacious and warm, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom luxurious. Will definitely be back.

Tiny niggle: the modern-style washbasin in the bathroom looks great, but, with very little space around it to put shaving equipment, dental stuff and contact lens case etc, it's not very practical. An extra shelf or other surface would be useful.

Brambles is on the main street and we had no trouble with free parking just outside the building. We picked up the key from the restaurant across the street and found the room easily. The room was delightful - very good size, sparkling clean and bathroom was as big and modern as the hote rooml in Edinburgh where we had stayed for the previous nights. Breakfast is continental and, since we are late risers, we may not have gotten the best of the pastries but the ones we got were delicious. I highly recommend the Brambles and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely nothing.

Excellent place to stay. The reception staff was very helpful and courteous on our arrival and showed us to our room. Our huge spacious room was lovely in the loft space of a cottage off the high street. Quite luxurious with a huge very comfortable bed and nice bedroom furnishings tea, coffee & biscuits. The bathroom was quirky and of very high end luxury with a walk through shower AND free standing bath. Only issue was the water from the shower it does come outside the shower cubicle onto tiles and was quite slippy...maybe more shower mat towels could be supplied. Breakfast was excellent across the road in the cafe with a lovely cheery waitress. Will definitely come back.

We booked our night at Brambles to ensure we could watch the Euro football finals whilst on a motorhome holiday. We got lucky with a sizeable room, huge comfortable bed and great 40” screen TV. Not so lucky with the football! Rarely do you find anywhere that has been so thought out. The hairdryer could actually be used in front of a mirror. There were more than the usual one or two tea bags and mugs of a proper decent size. The bathroom was superb with walk in shower and free standing bath. Continental breakfast across the road in the cafe was just perfect even though the cooked options were so tempting. All staff were delightful. Inveraray is a nice little place. We are a superb meal at The George.

Almost too warm at night but that might be me!

The location was lovely. Check in process was smooth and easy. Our rooms were so spacious and comfortable. The clawfoot tub was so cool and enjoyable. The beds were extremely comfortable. They provided ear plugs & eye masks as well. The staff were all so kind and amazing! Everyone we spoke to was very helpful and nice. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, but limited options. However, it was more than enough for what we needed, and you could always purchase additional more hot breakfast if you really wanted. We really enjoyed our stay here, and if we ever come back I would book again!

Room was a bit hot, but they provided a fan so it wasn’t all too bad. The shower didn’t drain well and almost overflowed out onto the floor a few times, so we would have to turn it off and wait to drain before we could continue the shower.
