The apartments had everything we needed for our trip. There was a basic kitchen which was fine for our breakfast needs. Rooms were a good size with plenty of pillows and extra bedding. Shower pressure was great. Aircon was available in the lounge and in one of the bedrooms. Access to the University gym next door was really handy.

Our apartment was on the back of the block, there was a lot of noise from the street during the night from people revving their cars and shouting. The area behind the apartments did not feel safe to walk in so we just stuck to Hindley St and around the University.

Lovely place in an excellent location, situated amongst the University of Adelaide buildings. About two blocks from the tram line and walking distance to downtown Adelaide. Some friends cautioned us against Hindley St at night but we had absolutely no problems at all. The corridors are all outdoors around courtyards, which gives it a beautiful feel. We had a (small) kitchen, and washer and dryer in our room, which was very handy.

My only real complaint was lack of power points. There is one in each room and two (doubles) in the kitchen. We unplugged the microwave to charge our phones. Minor issues: the room was small, everything is quite dated, and you'd never confuse it for a four-star hotel.

Mostly, everything was great

I turn off the A/c before going out, once I return the place smelt terribly. When there, A/c running for 30 mins and back door open would solve the problem. 2.Water tastes terrible, a water bottle machine would be fantastic please, I had to walk 3 blocks for a convenience store - it was very hot weather .im in my late 60's....

The location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring the area. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the room was spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable experience.

I didn’t like that the street is quite noisy and has many bars (active nightlife), which might be a problem for those who are more sensitive to noise while sleeping. You have to keep the window closed to block a bit the noise.

We had our ‘please make up my room’ sign out each day. However we only had this once on our first night. As a service that is being advertised it was disappointing as we then had to go and collect more towels, tea towel, bin liners and toilet roll as we had completely run out. We had the sign on the door all day each day and had our rubbish pile up

Great location at a quiet end of Hindley St., Adelaide. Walking distance to everywhere we need in the CBD and easy access to the free tram no noise from Hindley Street nighttime activities.

The location was great, however being close to the Adelaide Remand Centre and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, we often heard emergency sirens which often woke me.

Great location, easy to get in and out of the hotel and had everything we needed. Surprisingly quiet considering it was the weekend and a major event was on, but our room was at the back of the hotel which probably helped. Reception staff were very helpful.

Couldnt find the towels at first and the kid had to use her cardigan to dry, but reception let us know they are stored under the bathroom sink rather than on beds like other hotels, and we were able to wash and dry clothes in the room

Good location, clean hotel and room with helpful reception. We wre able to access local breakfast at Peter Rabbit, and could walk or tram to the Rail Station to undertake a scenic Torrens River cruise on the popular 'Popeye'. After which we went to the Sky City Casino Hotel to enjoy champagnes on the roof-top bar, overlooking the river, golf courses and the outstanding Adelaide Oval with it's curves walking bridge.

When we booked the BreakFree hotel we were not sure of what to expect being located on Hindley Street west. However we were suitable impressed with the standard experienced of amenities, staff, and room presented.

Bed had a sag in it and was a bit uncomfortable (single bed in second room) which left me with a sore back after 5 nights Pillows - either rock hard or really soft. A medium pillow would have been a nice option

The room was comfortable and private. The property has good security, and I always felt safe. I could cook my own meals which I prefer to do when I'm travelling. The property provided toiletries and everything I needed for a happy stay.

It would have been nice to have free Wifi and access to streaming apps.
