This is a real gem of a luxury, boutique hotel alongside Loch Ness. Yes it's pricey, but you really do get luxury - really attentive and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and a beautiful view of the Loch in all its different weathers. The facilities were excellent, everything you could possibly need, and you just feel a little bit special and spoiled. The breakfast was out of this world, just what a hungry traveller needs before heading out for the day. All in all a top class hotel for a couple who really want to spoil themselves. Very highly recommended!

Nothing - it was perfect and exceeded my expectations in every way.

Everything. We stayed here last year and returned as we had such a wonderful experience. The attention to detail is second to none and Gabriel and Jaro ensured that we were treated like royalty. The room was perfect and the view sublime - the rainbow over Loch Ness was fantastic. We indulged with the fireside experience - perfectly cured salmon, local cheeses and cured meats with a fabulous bottle of wine was the perfect evening. Breakfast was so delicious and prepared with care. This hotel should be on everyone's list to visit. Staff, accommodation, food, location - you would struggle to find a better place to stay anywhere in the world. (PS - if you are a connoisseur of whisky then there is a very well stocked supply of wonderful malts to try.)

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Beautifully situated with a management team who display their pride in their property on their sleeves. We only stayed the solitary night but as luck would have it the hotel and surrounding area was hit with an out of the blue, water problem. Water everywhere to see but none to drink, wash or flush away. For a problem that was totally out of their control the hotel staff did very well and we were offered a generous gesture of apology when checking out.

If I can make one observation and one that I hope they will take on board is that the dish on the breakfast menu is Eggs Benedict/Florentine and not Egg. No hotel I have been a guest at before has served me a single Egg Benedict and for the cost of an additional egg and the level of service you strive to make your guests feel welcome with, I would suggest adding an 's' to the menu.

Loch Ness Lodge is truly beautiful. The sitting rooms downstairs with fireplaces are so inviting. Our room is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in - and we travel for months on end. Gabriel, who greeted us and took us to our rooms, treated us with the utmost care and respect - as we noticed he also did with all the guests. He was personable and professional. We cannot compliment him enough. Breakfast was wonderful, presented by the elegant Sonya. This is a truly magical place to stay.

That we only had one night. We would have delighted in more time in our beautiful room.

The whole experience was incredible! First I spent a relaxing evening, reading a book in front of a lit fireplace, drinking whiskey, with traditional music in the background. In the morning we had an extraordinary surprise, as it was not already enough to have a wonderful view on the lake and the garden, right in front of us, a deer was eating the grass, literally at 1 mt from our table. The staff is extremely professional and friendly, they make you feel you like a lord or a lady. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Everything was perfect!

The hotel, our room, the staff all really superb. We LOVED everything about it. The view from our room was overlooking the Loch, and what a view!!! Relaxing in one of the lounge area's, playing scrabble and enjoying a superb bottle of red wine in the evening, what more could you need? We were there for my wife's birthday, and we were booked into the hotel next door for dinner on her birthday evening. Unfortunately the chef had a family emergency, the Loch Ness Lodge staff, not only booked us a table at their sister hotel some miles away, they even booked and paid for a taxi there and back for us! Exceptional customer service as far as I'm concerned. We will return, we enjoyed our stay that much.

The only downside was that the spa wasnt available, I understand there was a plumbing issue, but this didnt deter us from having a superb stay. There is no restaurant in the hotel itself, they will gladly book you a table in the hotel right next door, the menu there does look superb.

Interior was well kept, very nice building and the staff was excellent and very accommodating.

The exterior didn’t look like the picture, everything is very over grown with trees and bushes and the pond was empty and it wasn’t a beautiful lawn to the water, there was not much of a view from the ground floor, an ok view from the second floor. We were expecting a very open area with expansive views. The staff made up for it as they were excellent, super accommodating and professional. This made up for the exterior.

This is an exceptional property. Everything about it is simply beautiful from the sweet treat on arrival to our room and an uninterrupted view of the Loch, we lacked for nothing. We dealt mainly with Jaro and Gabriel for whom NOTHING was too much trouble. I would rate them as providing amongst the best service I have received anywhere in the world.

OK, let's be honest it was expensive, but we knew that when we booked. We'd definitely say the experience justified the price.

I had an enchanting stay at this hotel by Loch Ness. The room was charming with a breathtaking view of Loch Ness. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities added a touch of luxury. The Scottish hospitality, especially from manager Jaro, was exceptional. He warmly greeted me, gave a thorough property tour, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Although the nearby restaurant was closed for dinner, Jaro's thoughtful gesture of reheating and plating my takeaway was a delightful surprise. The made-to-order hot breakfast and delicious pastries added to the overall wonderful experience. I wish could have stayed longer.

Couldn't fault a thing, greeted at our vehicle on arrival, offered help with our bags and escorted into the reception area. Given a tour of the facilities before being shown to our room. Lounge was wonderful to sit and have a drink by the warming fire in the evening before dinner. Facilities in the room were great and a great shower. Bed was extremely comfortable and slept like a log. Breakfast was delicious and again staff were extremely attentive. Checking out was quick and easy and again offered help with our bags back to our car. Whole place has such a calming aura and the hotel is so peaceful with views to die for. Staff were wonderful in all aspects. Everything was just perfect quite frankly.
