We returned here for our NY trip this year after spending a few days in the same hotel last year. We really like the position, cleanliness, attention to detail, staff, amenities.

I feel that this year the breakfast (which was great last year and one of the reasons why we chose the same hotel this time) was not on par. There were somewhat less choices, food tasted bland and coffee was bad, which I definitely noticed since last year when the coffee was pretty tasty. This was quite a disappointment but the rest of the services were spot on.

Element Hotel located in center and close to main attraction, near shops and sub way. Every room has a fridge which makes it great for those who travels with kids! Breakfast is ok, all you need to start your morning in NYC. They even have a happy hour during the week around 4 or 5 pm, so nice to have a coffee and a few snacks. Many complain about elevators and crowd waiting, well, yeah you might wait sometimes a few minutes but i guess that's ok. Room service is fine, clean and tidy, plenty of shops and places to eat near by, and guys you must try famous 1 dollar pizza (slice) which is great! Receptionist was nice and helpful, overall it is a great place to stay and value for your money!

location was excellent and it was modern and comfy for the price.

we didn’t like The staff. initially, we got a room that stunk like cigarettes really bad and the property is non smoking. we called the front desk to have our room changed but the service on the line was so poor, we had to come all the way down, luggage and all to the lobby. at the lobby, the lady did not even bother to look at us or say hi and didn’t answer our questions. She only pretended being in the computer working on something. after a few minutes she gave us another room barely stating what the number was. Not courteous. we notice the staff in the lobby was overall this rude.

The hotel was close to Times Square (5 mins walk), the 34th floor studio apartment we stayed in had good views of times square, with all mod cons including a good sized fridge/freezer, a microwave and electric cooker, dishwasher and utensils, basically equipped like any studio apartment The (free) breakfast had a good selection of both continental choices as well as the usual cooked breakfast, which was more than sufficient - staff were also generally friendly and welcoming Would definitely consider staying here again.

The water in the shower was lukewarm at best for the first couple to nights, we didn't really report this as we barely stayed in , however it seemed to have resolved itself in the final 2 days of our stay (it wasn't boiling hot but definitely better than lukewarm) For some reason also, the volume on the TV when switched on was set to 100%, which caught us off guard at 1am, so had to remember to turn the volume all the way down whenever we switch it on...also, would have been nice to have a tv guide in the room and a toilet brush in the bathroom!

this is the best hotel we found super luxurious. friendly staff . convenient location . five star facilities . excellent breakfast buffet . room is very clean and superb view. Got upgraded Free of charge to 37th floor . Gave us early check in and late check out free of charge . the food is exceptional . quality 💯💯Beautiful view from the times Sqaure. complete kitchen with stove microwave refrigerator dishwasher cutlery crockery and everything. coffee maker . it’s truly heavenly . 💯💯💯Value for money . Truly HEAVENLY

Loved the service and the room. They have an area to leave your luggage for check in and check out. Free late check out at 1:00 pm if available. The view from the room was amazing (Rockefeller and the Edge). Location was great (near Times Square and subway stations). Rooms were greatly cleaned.

Waiting time on peak hours of the elevators and not great options of the breakfast (but it was ok). Breakfast space should be bigger (it was a race for finding seats). Not early check in available in my case. Overall it was a great option.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great with slight variations every day, nothing too exciting but really tasty and filling food. The location of the hotel was excellent, with a small corner shop less than a minute walk and Times Square less than a ten minute walk, plus really close to Madison Square garden. The room wasn't too big but it was fine for our needs, however the bed was super comfortable.

The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures which was a bit misleading, but it was okay after all for our purposes.

My room was spotless and comfortable even though I had a room next door to the elevators the way my room was set up with everything being on the opposite side of the door made my sleep and relaxation uninterrupted and peaceful😊. And also loved my city view.

Upon checking in I almost got charged twice glad I read other comments before booking so I made sure I told the clerk I was already charged for the room weeks ago and he said he didn't see a charge until I should him on my phone and then he doubled check and cleared it. After that I everything was cleared up. And breakfast even though it was continental didn't have a big selection like in the past over the years when I came previously. There was no bacon or sausage just salami as the meat😒 other than that made though and it was still satisfying.

the breakfast service was fabulous, there were hot and cold options and my daughter and I both had great breakfasts every day we stayed. The room had a nice view, the rooftop terrace had a great view of the east side of Lower Manhattan. the room itself was comfortable and clean. I liked having a kitchenette, though we didn't cook we did use the fridge to keep leftovers ready for a midnight snack!!

OK 40 floors and 3 elevators. Especially during peak travel times (between 8:45 - 10:30AM) it was hard to get an elevator. Also, on our second night, one resident tripped off the fire alarm with a steamy shower and there was a bit of confusion over what to do. Alot of people were taking dozens of flights of stairs down. Finally somebody came on over a speaker in the rooms to ease the concerns. I understand how fire alarms can set off panics. Is there any way to post an "In the event of a fire alarm" message. Alot of folks were concerned that the phones immediately shut down and they were unable to call to the front desk.

Room very nice with great shower. Good breakfast & a few evenings they offer Free beer wine & snacks. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Lifts at times it slow to our 37th floor But didn't happen too often.
