Was lovely and homely. Had all the facilities needed. Room was nice and big and a huge bathroom/shower. Was in a good location, only a 10 min walk into Bath town.

The outside of the property may put some people off but you get a lovely surprise when you go inside!

Our room (number 6) was amazing. It had a huge bathroom with a double shower and free-standing claw foot bath tub with double sinks, very modern. The room also had a sitting area with a settee, a chair, a coffee table, and a huge TV, beautifully decorated. The bar is great again, beautifully decorated which had live music from 8pm to 10pm. A huge bonus for us was free, private parking. Although the hotel is just outside of the city centre, the bus stops just outside and drops you off at the bus station in about 4min if you did not want to walk, we found it very easy. The breakfast is the biggest we have ever had. However, this did not take away from the quality of the produce. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The inn is a charming little establishment with a pub on the ground floor and rooms on the second floor. The staff members were lovely to speak to and were very helpful in terms of recommending local places to visit. The room was clean and was decorated nicely. The location is nice and is walkable from the train station (as long as you don't mind hills). We very much enjoyed our stay.

The pub prices were a little high and we had to wait longer than usual to order, but I suspect that this is because the restaurant was short staffed.

The attention to detail – the owner has clearly put a lot of work into making the accommodation both comfortable and stylish, and we absolutely loved the decor of our room, but also the whole inn. It was stylish but also warm and welcoming. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was superb, especially the sea bass I ate on one of our nights. The location was great, and we really enjoyed our visit to Alexandra Park, which is close by and was recommended to us on arrival.

Only because I'm so fussy that I like sleeping in near arctic cold, I thought the air con unit could have been even more effective (it seemed not to be blowing out of the whole of the unit but rather on one side) and made the room a nice cool rather than cold.

Unassuming bolt hole just a 15min walk outside the Town Centre. On-site parking (included) was a real bonus as it was just a short distance downhill into the town, or a £2 bus ride, of which they are very frequent. Room was perhaps a little dated, but nevertheless clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful, offering advice as to what to see with our limited time there. Breakfast was excellent. Great choice, hot and plentiful. Full English certainly set me up for a couple of days of exploring. Would definitely recommend and will also return!

Room has probably seen better days.

The Staff were fantastic! So helpful & accommodating. The breakfast, lunch & dinner were great! We loved our room and the bath tub made it feel so extra special for a relaxed baby moon that we wanted! Lovely and clean and had everything you could need. Our dog loved his room.amd stay too :) A great location so close to the city centre on bus and easily by foot!

Only thing was perhaps the stairs outside our room looked a little in need of TLC but seemed minor considering how everything else was great.

Good location and free parking and friendly helpful staff . We could walk into town and it was on bus route .bus stopped right outside front door. Room was nice and bed comfortable .quiet with secondary glazing and air conditioning was welcome as it was s hot weekend

Wait for breakfast 20 mins on 1st morning. Initially told it would be 20 to 30 mins wait as there was a big table in . Same second morning even though it was hardly busy . Third morning a bit quicker . Breakfast was good when it came . . Room carpet was badly stained around tea making area and bed .could provide a container for used teabags.

The room was stylish, a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - perhaps the best Full English I have ever had. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The walk to and from the city was not an issue for us.

Be warned that the stairs on arrival to the rooms need a bit of updating but once in the room everything was of an excellent standard. Being able to open the windows in the room would be good so we don’t have to rely on air con.

It was decorated beautifully. The bathroom was stunning and the shower was luxurious. Very spacious. Both room and bathroom, bed was large and comfortable. The TV worked well with several channels and the radio was a lovely touch. There was a pub quiz the night we got there but you couldn’t hear the noise from the pub. The fridge was a wonderful accompaniment and the KitKat a nice touch. Lovely hospitality tray . The bus stop was so conveniently close it made visiting the centre effortless

The only downside to the stay wasn’t with the property per se but the food in the pub itself. We weren’t a fan of the menu though that’s potentially personal choice. The meal we had the first night wasn’t as good as it could have been with the soup cold in places in addition to being too salty and heavily peppered. The vegan chocolate mousse was not nice, but, vegan chocolate is , as a rule, not nice. However, breakfast redeemed it especially the vegan pancakes which were positively Devine!!!

Great location for our stay with onsite parking a bonus. All staff friendly helped advising on local area things to do and best walk into the city. Special shout out to Rosie a real asset to the team. Breakfast we paid each day great produce cooked to order and recommended. We advised that we were celebrating a special anniversary and birthday and treats left by the team in the room. It was a really lovely touch.

Initially, we booked a 2 night stay and then added an extra night. Unfortunately, we had to check out and re-check in which wasn't ideal. The staff did move our bags across to our new room, which was appreciated just a disruption didn't settle unpack until in final room. I'm sure if our stay hadn't been at the start of the Christmas markets, this wouldn't have been an issue as the staff very apologetic
