The breakfasts were excellent.

We didn’t like the fact that the housekeeping staff continuously opened our door or tried to get in throughout the morning albeit we were there for 2 nights. On the morning of departure the same happened albeit we didn’t need to vacate until 12 midday. A Do Not Disturb sign would have been useful.

All the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful and the room and hotel was attractive (especially with the sparkle of the Christmas decorations and unicorns) clean and smelled good throughout. We loved the location, close to the Park and Ride, which meant no driving after our initial journey from Dorchester

Breakfast was a bit chaotic on Saturday - there didn't seem to be enough resources for the numbers of guests eating, but again the staff were great trying to sort this, the toaster had lots of crumbs in it, and was overworked; which may have been why it didn't brown the toast at all. I was given a password for WiFi , but failed to use it when my phone said the connection was not secure. In Room 306 the toilet flush was very temperamental - I'm sure you'll check that out.

Modern hotel - we were upgraded so had a big room. Breakfast busy but well organised and generous. Well located if you are driving and want to get to Woodstock or want to use the park and ride.

Really frustrating to have to pay additional money on arrival for parking - it would be so much better if this was included in the room rate. It is quite expensive for what it is and there are no other decent restaurant options within walking distance. You are really really close to the A34 and we could see lorries going past our window. It has become much busier at breakfast and mealtimes since they added further rooms without expanding the dining room.

The room was clean and had a new sofa which was really comfortable The breakfast was great with a wide choice of warm food available scrambled, fried, poached eggs, baked beans hash browns mushrooms cooked to perfection so much variety warm croissants Danish pastries fresh fruit the list goes on Staff were friendly and always on hand to help This location has it all restaurant great food on site with round the clock menu for a great price

Having to pay to park

Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The room was great and the parking right on site was fab. In fact when I booked I was informed the parking was quite a distance from the hotel, he said about 200m so when I saw the parking on site I was very happy indeed. Thanks for a great stay. So far all the IHG hotels that we have stayed were very good.

Incorrect information by a person who clearly does not know the property, In fact we nearly did not book into the hotel because the person we spoke to said the parking was quite a walk (especially with heavy suite cases). As mentioned above, I was delighted when I saw the parking on site (even though it is managed by a separate company as I understand).

The accommodation – was superb. Clean, modern room with very comfortable bed. Well air conditioned room with nice fridge. Lovely spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle. Well lit. The TV was fantastic. Must have been 40-50 inch screen. Hotel must have been recently decorated as there was a strange smell throughout the corridors and room. It wasn’t paint, can’t really describe it but it was reassuringly new. The staff – were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole Hotel. The food – was excellent. Varied menu at the bar. Evening Meal – on both nights highly recommended. I had a lovely Mixed Grill on the second night. Fabulous. Breakfast – was fantastic buffet style for everything. Good selection of cooked breakfast items. Really enjoyable. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Value for money – I’d say yes. The food prices are average you’d get anywhere. Drinks are average pub prices. Generally – a clean, comfortable Hotel. Short stroll to Park and Ride, once you know where you’re going. Quick bus service into city centre just over £5 return for two of us. Stay there again – Yes, definitely.

Nothing we didn't like.

We got a really warm welcome at reception on arrival and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, the hotel was well run and the price was good value. The quality and range of food at breakfast was very good and the coffee was excellent. I have stayed in a number of places in Oxford and rank this one very highly. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is basically a car park next to a motorway. It’s well placed to get in and out of Oxford and the park and ride buses go from close to the hotel but it’s not a beautiful location.

Location next to a station and super market, rooms size and breakfast are good specially for the price. The beds are comfortable and the room has everything you need including iron and full set for the bathroom. The staff are friendly and flexible for your request. I would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Oxford and looking for Hotels with good services and value as they are finite in Oxford.

The location is a bit far away from the center (should be 12 minutes far but with traffic it may become half an hour). The breakfast is always very busy so you have limited time to eat and leave. There were only two elevators but the waiting time is short.

The new(ish) room was excellent. It was clean, warm and comfortable with a small sofa in the room. The breakfast was tasty, plentiful and hot. All of the staff, from cleaners to managers were friendly, welcoming and polite. We had a small issue with our room door not locking properly. The manager (Georgei?) was outstanding and couldn’t have been more helpful, finding us another room nearby to move to. Car parking was easy, pay at the hotel, not the machine (tip for future visitors).

Nothing at all, everything was amazing.

As we were a little later getting down to breakfast a few things were running low… but they replaced quickly and did a lovely omelette for me as iam vegetarian… there was no brown bread left. Maybe a gluten free bread may be an option?

The size of the bed was very very disappointing-I booked and paid extra for a King size bed but on arrival the bed was just a normal standard double bed… so very disappointing but I didnt want to make too much of it at the time as it was a special birthday weekend meet up . The staff at the time were apologetic but that didnt solve the disappointment and inconvenience and annoyance at paying extra for the king size bed when it clearly wasnt . Very disappointing as I have stayed in this Holiday Inn many times over the years (way back when it had a swimming pool!) and Holiday Inn’s all over Europe and booked previously with Booking.Com and not been disappointed so this was a great shame .
