Fully furnished kitchen amenities, which included pots, pans, and a variety of knifes required for food preparation. Dishwasher provided which made cooking and dining in a very pleasant experience. There's a particular odour that we noticed in the toilet. Can't quite identify what is it but quite similar to the smell of paint? Maybe it's present because the place looks newly renovated.

Wonderfully appointed, clean, very modern - seemed new, close to a shop. I had a really lovely, comfortable stay here. Stunning drive up to Mount Cook

It was probably one of the most expensive places (cost per night) I stayed in the whole of New Zealand, barring Queenstown. Which for a small town a 45/50min drive from Mount Cook seemed a bit much (although I hear there’s a leading rowing place nearby so that might explain it). Anyway, was still cheaper than staying up at Mount Cook so…

It is very new, clean, spacious, big bathroom, and a kitchen--even with a dishwasher! I liked that they provided salt and pepper!

This whole area is officially designated a "dark sky area" but this motel (and only this place) was lit up like a Searchlight! For that reason I would not go back and I would not recommend this place. Owner’s, I encourage you to use dome lighting and sensors for the lights outside each room, instead of leaving them on all night.

Spacious rooms, beautifully kitted out - super bathroom and kitchenette. I’ve never stayed anywhere so CLEAN and immaculately presented. Ample parking. We chose to stay here instead of the more pricey Lake Tekapo - so glad we did. Categorically, the best motel I’ve ever stayed at. I wish they had a chain in every town.

My only suggestion is to change down the weight of the doona to a lighter weight and add a blanket. The heavy doonas are always so hot - but it seems all hotels now do this.

Absolutely everything! It is centrally located to main roads, cafes, shops and restaurants. Very spacious. Cooking facilities were excellent. TV, wifi and media: perfect. The most comfortable huge bed! Very spacious bathroom and even a washing machine/dryer. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Even helped with recharging and securing our e-bikes (many bike racks available. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our stay was fantastic – one of the best places we stayed at in New Zealand! The hosts were so friendly, and you could tell they do everything with love. They thought of every little detail, which made it even more special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped and spotlessly clean, as if no one had ever used it before. Everything was just fantastic. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We loved our stay at the Alps Motel & Apartments. The room was spacious and with all amenities , its also walking distance to the Twizel town centre which has supermarkets, playground for kids & restaurants. We chose to make Twizel our base to travel to Mt.Cook for trails . The property also has good parking space. The rooms were super clean. Would highly recommend this property in the beautiful town of Twizel

Alps Motel and Apartments are newly built. The rooms are spacious with clean, modern interiors. Our room had a fully equipped kitchenette that included a dishwasher and front loader washer/dryer for laundering clothes. For travellers, this is an excellent facility as it is often difficult to wash clothing when on holidays. The owner was friendly and helpful. The motel is a short walk to the town centre shops and restaurants.

A super clean, motel unit. A good size. A very comfortable bed.

The one thing that let it down was the note on the bench saying wash and dry your dishes or there would be a $ 50 charge. This is not ok. A better note would be to ask customers to leave the dishes in the dishwasher thus the next customer can be assured the dishes have been washed properly. As for $50 on top of a $300 room rate , very definitely not ok.

Super clean, exceptionally comfortable bed, quiet, large fluffy towels, large room, great water pressure in shower, excellent a/c, washer dryer and laundry soap a plus. Plunger coffee in addition to instant plus milk provided at check in. Plenty of free parking.

I did have a hard time not getting the bathroom floor wet with the wonderful shower pressure.
