Clean, comfortable, warm (heating works well and is self controlled in the room - VERY IMPORTANT in the highlands, as they like to turn off the heating during the night and temperatures drop fast to 15 in the room which makes it a very unpleasant and stressful situation to sleep in) … hosts made a small beautiful surprise for our honeymoon, towels were heart shaped and we were even welcomed by a card and a bouquet of flowers, which was the nicest touch anyone has added in 16 days of traveling through Scotland. gas station, supermarket (open until 10pm) and several restaurants and bars are around :)

The room was exactly as pictured online. It was cozy. warm and clean. I understand that the building is older and give a pass to some of the cracks etc the facility had. Someone named Will had logged into their Netflix account and we enjoyed that quite a bit : ) It saved me trying to login with my credentials. The stairs are extremely hazardous and difficult to those with larger/manly feet. My husband at 6'2" barely could manage, there is no way my 6'6" sons would be able to navigate this building. But, as I said, I knew this building was older and we laughed about how we were lucky we were not bigger. I was shocked by the breakfast offering. When I walked in, I saw rolls, juices, cereals and yogurts. I did not expect the full menu on top of this. I ordered the scrambled "egg" minus the salmon. I expected one egg, but what I got was about 6! The food was delicious, generous in portions and such a nice surprise! I highly recommend a stay here!
Nothing that can be done. The location, which is about an inch from the main thoroughfare, cannot be helped. Nor the lights from the market across the street. As said earlier, the building is old and has quirks with ceiling levels and stairs being narrow. I didn't care, this was the nicest place I had stayed at in Scotland!

STAFF WERE AMAZING! Always kind and attentive. The full Scottish breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The location was great- across the street from the co-op and some local businesses and the water, and close to other restaurants. We stayed in room 5 (family room) and it was clean and spacious.
The only issue we had was that the bathroom floor was wet when we arrived (probably freshly mopped) and it didn’t dry for the 2 nights we were there. Even with the fan on and the door open, the condensation from the shower coated everything and kept the bathroom floor and surfaces very damp. We had to wear our shoes in the washroom, but it wasn’t a huge deal.

Good location the staff was very very friendly. Marta answered many questions with a great deal of patience. The breakfast was spectacular huge plate of eggs with smoked salmon with many other options.
The most expensive room over a three week trip could be because the isle of skye is a popular location. Made a mistake of booking what I thought was a queen bed, but it was only a double That was my fault - not Marta’s. The bed is definitely not big enough for two adult males. Otherwise the room was beautiful clean with a nice shower.

It was small, quaint and calming. It’s been well kept with good sized rooms. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The shared bathrooms are brilliant and very clean.
The parking is not great but exists. The staircase and hallways are quite narrow which cant be helped but should be noted. Lastly was the amount of midgys as myself and my partner woke to have a lot of bites.

Our room was on the top floor toothed front. It had a shared bathroom but there are actually 2 toilets on this floor so we got the bathroom to our selves. In arrival we were told that there were 2 different couples sharing the top floor which I thought was nice. Time breakfast was and which room to go in to. Very welcoming.
Would have been good to have access to a microwave with it being a bed and breakfast. Restaurants ate high in cost if you are on a budget but there is a coop across the road but something warm is welcoming.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of options to start the day. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. My room was comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. Overall, a great experience that I would happily recommend!
Be correctly equipped for the destination you travel. In my evening walk on my way back to the place I got soaked in the rain and the weather is cooler in August than I expected.

Lovely room with a very cosy feel. Was so happy to see the beds so well done with lots of pillows. Spacious room with good heater facilities. The host JUSTIN was super good and served us the best food out of all the stays we did in the UK. They were so helpful with all attention to detailing. They served the best berries with the porridge and the dining rooms were cosy with a view. I want to come here again
Therz nothing I didn't like

Lovely room. We had a twin bed + shared bathroom - not much left on Isle of Skye during the busy season! Beds were pretty short, and the room was very much an attic and the roof was sloped. Just be aware if you're quite tall. Nice breakfast - very very big breakfast! Was a struggle hiking after it!!
Location is just opposite the coop and road so could be noisy if you need the window open. We were so exhausted so it didnt worry us. Roof was quite low - fine for me but my BF is quite tall and he hit his head quite a bit.

The place is very clean and big enough for 4 people. It is located right in front of a supermarket, which is perfect if you're on a "on the road trip" as me and my friends were. In addition, it has a car park right outside the building. Its location is really convenient if you are planning to visit Skye Island in one day. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by Sarah (if I remember well) who made sure we were comfortable and got all the necessary informations. She was really really kind. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip, a lot of food and the fresh dishes were prepared at the moment.
