The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast items in the room were nice to have when we were on the go. It was easy to find.
The code to open the door did not always work and we were lucky when other guests could hear us or others struggling outside and opened the door. We didn’t see a single staff member while on the premises, which ended up being fine, but if we would have had a need, we had no idea how we would have gotten help. It would have been in close proximity to several restaurants, but we went at the time of year when most were closed- obviously not a fault of the hotel, but if you want more choice during the off-season, you’ll be better off in Portree.

Very cosy place. We loved it so much we extended another night. We had an upstairs room in the garden room area, very warm, lovely selection of continental breakfast. Really handy location to get to all the sites throughout Isle of Sky. It does say self check in so thats a choice when checking in. Had issues with c/c via booking.com and the staff were helpful over the phone with another option to pay prior to checking in.
Didn’t seem to be a-lot of food options to dine out close by tho we didnt try very hard to find places, so we ate big lunches and brought back snacks for later.

The additional breakfast options and small fridge were a bonus. The property also had a lovely big lounge, if you are staying awhile or with other people. The location was perfect for us as there is a bus stop right outside.
The front door was a little difficult to get in. We weren't informed that the handle needed lifting up before pressing down. Lucky some other residents arrived at the same time and gave us this tip. The rooms also have thin walls and we heard our neighbours chats and activities. The bathroom was a little on the small side.

Room was clean and spacious. The fridge was a good extra and the mini breakfast bar options were a nice touch also. Not the four seasons but incredibly good value for the money and would definitely recommend
There seemed to be an issue with the drainage. We were in the annex building and I don't think the plumbing could cope with the extra pressure. Nothing leaked or smelled bad thankfully but the shower water took an age to drain and the toilet system would occasionally back up. Again Nothing leaked unless the shower overflowed but the drainage could definitely do with upgrading.

Excellent location for exploring Skye. I was on an organised 3 day tour and it was convenient for pick up and drop off. No hassle to get in - just used the code - quite like the hands-off approach to be honest after a long day. Room was light and big and airy with nice decor (albeit a little tired in places). Simple Breakfast items were provided (cereals, porridge, cereal bars etc). Bathroom was nice with a good powerful shower which was fab after a long day hiking around Skye. Everything was mostly clean Great to have TV with Netflix available!! Really enjoyed my stay and would come again.
Only issue was that the king bed had a seam down the middle and the two mattresses did come apart a little but I slept on one side. One of the bedside tables was slanting a little bit and might need repair. It is a little outside of Kyleakin so you do need to plan ahead r.e. dinner and food options

This place is a gem. Great choice between Applecross and Isle of Skye. Generous space for four of us in a room (three beds in a room with a lot of extra room, and a special landing area, and then the bathroom, so the bathroom noise was not audible from the sleeping area), very pleasant decor, huge windows to see the surrounding scenery, and such generous supplies in the fridge (much more than we could consume for breakfast). The lounge area has a wall of windows and a piano.

Everything was amazing, exceeded my expectations 1000%, loved the cereals and complimentary breakfast items in the room. It was very clean and cozy, I slept like a baby in those comfy beds, will definitely come back again.
The heater in my room (4) made a weird noise from time to time, the first night I thought it might be hard to sleep with it but the amazing bed made it disappear in an instant lol Also, the fire alarm was activated one day at 4am and it was quite annoying having to get up, go out etc etc and there was no fires or anything, but I guess that's not the hotel's fault. Other than that it was all great.

Good location just over the bridge to Skye, which made it easier for us to head back to the mainland early in the morning. Nice room, comfy beds, clean and free breakfast items like cereal, porridge pots, tea, and coffee in the room. Efficient process of getting into the building and getting keys, we didn't actually talk to any staff cause we arrived late the first day and left very early the second. Thoroughly recommend.
We had to call to change the dates of our double room booking and the only room available on the new dates was a family room. We were told the change in price would be reflected on booking.com and it was £17 more expensive but when we called to change they said it was £38 more expensive.

Room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and overall a very nice place to stay. Breakfast cereals were provided on a daily basis and appreciated that no time constraints were required. Loved the fact that we could take our own time each morning and relax without having to Breakfast within certain times
A very minor complaint would be the chairs in the room could perhaps do with a bit more padding.

The best aspect was the value. Because of the time of year, it was very reasonably priced. Bed was quite comfortable, modern but small bathroom, good shower, very clean. Easy contactless check-in and checkout. I'm satisfied with the stay for the cost of under £60 per night but I wouldn't pay the summer prices for this facility.
Paper thin walls, we could hear everything going on in the building, even including people taking showers down the hall. Window in room 6 wouldn't open which they apparently knew about before we arrived but was told there they had nobody anywhere near Skye to fix it. I knew in advance no reception (which was no problem) but there should at least be someone in the area when problems arise. This oversight was the biggest problem. Rooms are very small, just a warning. I knew this ahead of time and didn't base my rating on it.
