Nice location near Skye bridge on the lake front in Kyleakin. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Since we opted for breakfast included in our fare, we were issued a breakfast coupon for next morning at the time of check-in itself! Reception, our room and the breakfast area are located in three different properties!!!

The person in the breakfast area let us down when he repeatedly said we didn't hand him over the breakfast coupon though we did that as the first thing when we entered! It took a while to convince him it was indeed given, but that wasn't a good start for the morning which was not so bad otherwise. And the breakfast was overpriced for what they offered.

Service and food at the next door restaurant (Saucy Maggies?) was excellent. When we arrived at the hotel no one was around, there was a note on the door but it was hard to understand, go to Saucy Maggies it said. Upon arrival we had no idea where that was. Finally we understood and found the check in person, but it was too early. We sat around for awhile and then went to our very small room with bath. It reminded me of a "Backpackers Hotel", as we called the cheap hotels in Europe in the 80"s. Clean but a little rundown. It was fine.

The check in could have been better. As I said though, we were too early. There were others who were there early too.

The bathroom looked like it had new facilities whereas the bedroom could use some updating. It was hot in the room even though we opened the windows. The location is good if you are visiting the Isle of Skye. It is very pretty area. The breakfast was standard breakfast. Supper was a hit and miss. The smoked fish were good; the curry not good; the steak pie average.

The check-in could have been better. You had to call for check-in, then walk around the restaurant to get your key. It was a bit confusing. Also, my phone wouldn't call locally so had to use someone else's phone. It was next door to the pub/restaurant and it was noisy at night.

The location was excellent for us and as a bonus had lovely views. We were in the Witchwoodbbuilding the room was quite small but very clean and comfortable. We had en suite facilities but we did notice some rooms had to share toilet and showers.

The garden area was a bit unkempt and could have been made a lot more of. The building itself is not very glamorous it could do with a bit of updating but it served our needs very well and was good value for money.

Food in restaurant next door. The room was plenty big for four of us.

We had trouble finding it. From the map, it looked like we had to turn on a street, but it was just a driveway. Also, it would be helpful to tell the name of the restaurant because it is right next door and has a big sign. And the sign just says Glennaroch and doesn't have the "Witchwood" anywhere, and there is a big sign for the Hostel, but we weren't staying in the hostel so that was confusing. It was dark and raining when we arrived and it was hard to find without the above information.

The location is excellent as a point to start exploring Skye. The room and facilities were good Breakfast was served next door at Saucy Mary's. All staff were friendly and helpful.

It was quite busy with other guests coming and going, which in itself is not a problem. The issue we had was with the main entrance door. ( we were in room 5, right by the front door) The self closer was either faulty or needed some adjustment, as the door banged loudly every time some other guest came in or out. A simple fix is needed to either adjust the closer so the door closes softly or replace the closer with one that does a better job. Otherwise, there are no major issues.

Room, bedding and towels were clean Ample parking People arriving settled down quickly Food provided was of good standard from Saucy Mary's

Rooms upstairs were very warm even with radiator off and deluxe open Walls are very thin Paid one price for B&B but continental breakfast which one of our party wanted was cheaper and she couldn't have just an egg to go with it.

Location friendly staff,Inside çlean and tidy, our room sink plug missing and shower tray slow to drain. These things didn't effect the enjoyment of our stay

Stayed in Wychwood, garden needs clearing front and back building needs external cleaning and painting as does front garden wall, which would make it more attractive and cared for.

A great value for money with convenient location especially considering that the breakfast was included in the price. The stuff was really helpful as I left my watch behind and needed to come back and collect it. Communication with the B&B was easy and fast.

Nothing in particular just everything was a bit worn.
