*** Refers to the 'Faerie Glen' lodge *** A modern lodge beautifully located in Broadford in the Isle of Skye region. Unexpectedly spacious, bright, clean and accommodating. Really pleasant views from the porch. A free parking place on site. Friendly reminder: When travelling by car, make sure to take the High Road directly from A87 (as it is stated in the address provided), because sometimes car navigation suggests (mistakenly) taking the 'Pairc Nan Craobh' road instead.

None we could think of. Maybe a dishwasher would be a nice additional feature, but you simply can't have everything ;-)

Loved location and open plan. We went for a Family (2 adults 2 kids) tech de-tox with our dog. The open plan and large kitchen table made board games fun. The location was great for exploring the Isle. The kitchen was well stocked and a good selection of pans and utensils that were all in good order. It made me realise how bad my pans at home are. The 2 bathrooms and showers made life easy. The place was very clean and felt warm inside. There is also a lovely local dog walking loop that we found.

Had a brilliant time only slight issue was the lack of drying room or someplace to hang dirty wet jackets (clothes rack ? ). We where there for the hill walking and coming straight in from the hills, we where hanging a jackets and stuff on the kitchen chairs. If the weather had turned really bad we could have ended up with mud everywhere.

-Beautiful modern cottage style hut with mountain views. Good lighting TV, cutlery, dishes was a bonus -loved the no contact check in and check out system. Good communucation by team -perfect location for nice breakfast/dinner places and grocery store. Everything within 5-10 mins drive.

-Gravel in the parking area and disorganised parking by other residents. if road is flattened, it will become easier for people with mobility issues/wheelchairs to navigate around the property. -I believe it is great for 3-4 days stay but starts feeling like too small after that -Dishwasher! Would have loved one! -No privacy, can hear through walls -Bed too small

Excellent location to explore Skye. Staff were very helpful. Very well equipt. We were pleased that we had a lovely Mountain View Lodge as the others look over the parking spaces and back of the other lodges! Broadford is a great place for facilities and interesting shops and cafes.

We did have to mention a used towel being left after cleaning and the hand wash dispensers are beginning to leave rusty marks. It would have been useful to have somewhere to hang wet clothes after a wet walk.

Location excellent but not as near hotel as advertised. Unable to have a meal at the restaurant as no car. Cleanliness excellent. All utensils Towels superb. bed linen superb.

not suitable for disabled persons with mobility issues. i.e No shower rail therefore too slippy to have a shower very unsafe. bed not comfortable , quite hard. Sofas far too low unable to get up easily. Microwave far too high , have to be very careful in case of scalding. or spilling. Stony Path outside lodge not suitable for people with mobility issues. No ramp outside access

The chalet was lovely and cosy, really clean and tidy and close enough to Broadford to walk to the nearest food options, but still felt like you were out of the village. Comfy sofa, spacious bathrooms, huge fridge/freezer and huge dining table. We travelled in January and it was well worth the cost, but guessing that’s a bit different in summer. Would definitely stay here again :)

There was no spare cupboard space in the kitchen to store any food that doesn’t need to go in the fridge, which was fine for a short stay but could be an issue if staying for longer and planning to cook most meals.

The lodge is in a great location, ideal for exploring Skye. It was warm, immaculately clean and comfortable, with all the practical necessities for a self-catering stay.

On arrival, there was a sign on one of our showers saying that it was out of order and would be fixed. However, the door remained broken for the duration of our 2-night stay, which was an inconvenience in an otherwise perfect stay.

Lovely well appointed modern property. Spacious. Loved having two bathrooms. Although there were 6 lodges on the plot, I still felt it was private and quiet. I didn’t mind that it was behind the funeral directors and backpackers hostel. Easy parking. Close shops and restaurants. We liked the large dining table. Comfy couch and big tv. We appreciated the manager came to check on us during the heavy rainstorm.

I wish there were clothes pegs to hand our wet coats after a long day out. I liked that there was a washing machine but the drying cycle was diabolical. It just spun the wet clothes in hot air and didn’t seem to release the humidity.

The spacious cabin/lodge was very clean, had modern amenities, and had double bathrooms for the two bedrooms, which was an unexpected (but pleasant) surprise. One double bed and two single beds, but could easily sleep another person on the spacious and comfortable couch.

The washer/dryer combo took WAY too long to wash and dry a single load of clothes. When my wife tried to wash and dry her clothes, it took two rounds of drying overnight to get them dry.

Very aesthetic, modern, and spacious lodge. Comfortable couches and great tall windows for taking in the atmosphere of the area. 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms made it very comfortable in that respect. They had coffee and tea available for us to use and all amenities including a washing/drying machine.

We made the mistake of using the washing/drying machine overnight as we were sleeping there and it is extraordinarily loud, especially for anyone who is sleeping on the couch or in the same room as it. It is quite literally impossible to sleep in the same room with the washer/dryer as it’s running. It’s not necessarily a negative for the property, as it’s a plus to have that laundry capability, but it’s good to know beforehand that it’s very loud. Twin beds were not very comfortable, but that’s quite common in Europe, I’ve noticed.
