Rooms are beautiful with crisp linen and are spotlessly clean. Very comfortable stay

We had travelled to the area for a wedding. The bride and groom live adjacent to the boat so they recommended it and we booked 5 rooms there. On the wedding day the couple asked if they could board the boat to take some wedding pictures and they were refused. This was really disappointing. The bride mentioned how many rooms her guests had booked and were still refused. Disappointing, if we had known this prior, we would not have booked

Enjoyed the whole experience from the minute we arrived. Matt on reception was so welcoming and friendly as all the staff were. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the boat. Great location so many restaurants and bars close by. No problem with parking. Rooms were amazing, we stayed in a state room which was so spacious and comfortable. Could not fault the attention to detail., even a card left for my birthday. Spotlessly clean. Bar was lovely, comfortable and welcoming. Good selection of drinks and cocktails. Have already booked a return stay.

Superb bedroom and bathroom. Fantastically clean and really helpful staff. Nice to be staying on such a historic which has been decorated in keeping with its past .

Having no television in the room may be considered commendable and in sympathy with the ships heritage, not having one is a nightmare when we had to sit in all day sheltering from the new year storm. There was no hot breakfast. Understandable to some degree. However, the breakfast was inadequate, we were on “second sitting” and the continental breakfast had all gone and was not replenished leaving only cereals and toast . ( btw the staff were helpful but had to search for bread for a slice of toast and give me apple juice from a carton .. people were tipping up the juice dispenser to attempt to get a drink 😳) Sorry to complain as we loved the location, the ship and staff but I felt you might try to address these concerns

Every aspect of the entire city break was exceptional.The Ocean Mist is beautiful beyond words especially the cabin in the name of "Steering Flat".The staff onboard are amazing,Daniel on reception shows so much knowledge of the history of the the ship and is willing to share it all.,his attention to every detail was second to none.Dillon in the bar knows just as much about the ship as he knows about alcohol which is another good attribute to have ,and Toni and Martin at breakfast put a smile on everyones face.and not forgetting the housekeeper Olivia for her amazing special room makeover skills.

Absolutely blown away; what an experience! Booked as a 10 year Anniversary surprise for my fiancee, staying in the Kenelm Guinness Stateroom. The staff / management are a credit to the business and industry. From the reception staff, to Bruce (General Manager) and Marco, manning the bar, they couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and provide an all-round 5* experience. Incredibly professional. Marco was really knowledgeable, talented and clearly very passionate about his profession. I had arranged for a local florist to deliver flowers to the suite pre-arrival and the hotel also helped provide a bottle of fizz on ice. Bruce / Daniel were incredibly accommodating. Facilities, design and attention to detail were also all on point. Very impressed and we'll definitely be back! Thanks to little Arthur also for his help taking our picture on the deck 👌🏼

It was quirky, placed in a nice area and easy access to all attractions, near and far. Must say, one of the highlights of the trip was meeting your mixologist (Cocktail Superhero). Very interesting, very smart and loved understanding the history behind his signature Guinness reduction (+ special ingredient). Those little additions make a stay over additionally special

One morning we work up and was faced with people outside looking into our room (Guinness room) which was not ideal. I guess there were just exploring the ship….maybe look at restricting that part of you have guests….

Cozy room, big bathroom even in our smaller cabin. Quality Tea and coffee in rooms. Loved the lounges- very chic! All service staff were fabulous, absolutely top notch service. A shout out to the fantastic bartenders— very personable and made our stay memorable. Continental Breakfast was delish- fresh pastries, bread, cereals, cheese and meats! And a ton of variety . Location is unique, away from the crowds of the Royal mile and area offered a ton of fantastic cafes and restaurants. Beautiful walking trail just outside the door. Close enough by Uber to Edinburgh tourist spots. The basket of free treats at the front reception desk has me now searching at home for Tunnock's Teacakes!

Pressure washing during the day on our stay. Hard to sleep off jet lag. Limited parking (but that did not affect us)

The location was superb, local transport easily accessible for trip into Edinburgh. The continental breakfast was excellent, such a variety of choice. The cabins were perfect, so clean and comfy. Well thought out little luxuries. The Arran shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were a beautiful addition. The sitting room and bar area are delightful, the weather allowed us to sit out on deck where there is a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. The bar, breakfast, maid service and reception staff are a credit, there was nothing to much trouble. My daughter and i had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend, it was so different to just booking a hotel. Please pass on our thanks to Toni and i hope she got her nails done and she is happy with them.

there is nothing that wasn't to like.

It’s fabulous! The romance and elegance of a century ago are preserved and yet presented in a clean, modern and luxurious way. The rooms are beautifully appointed and air conditioned for comfort. The bar is a glorious place to sit and have a drink, chat with the staff and other guests too. You can even have a beer brewed about 50m away. The staff deserve a special mention, from the wonderful captains who meet you when you board - both of whom are very friendly and generous with their tips for places to go, to eat and to enjoy yourself - to stewards in the bar, chatty, friendly, funny and exactly what you’d hope for in a funky ships bar.

Amazing experience. Every little thing had been cleverly thought of and it is a magnificent boat everything Is just perfect. From the red carpet onwards everything was 5 star and as it’s in the middle of Leith you are surrounded by bars and restaurants. The room was wonderful and it was the most gorgeous bathroom ever. The staff were so helpful and thoughtful. The cocktail bar looked over the bridge at leith and it was well staffed and had an extensive cocktail menu. We could not fault anything and the room was so quiet even though it was quite windy. Loved it and will definately stay there again. Not the largest bar but think in lovely weather most people would sit outside and enjoy it. Breakfast was continental which was great for us. All in all. Fantastic.

Everything was well thought of and perfectly done. The staff were dressed in uniforms and every little thing was interesting.
