The family is wonderful and Padma is doing her best in order to keep her guests happy. She cooks amazing food too. I would definitely. Shehan her older son is someone who you can rely on if you want to go out and see what's around and in Sigiriya. They are all a very helpful family!

My room was a bit hot, but I had a fan so I had to keep it on all the time when I was in. It didn't bother me much. It was a nice stay in a small village home. But if you're not a fan of nature and you get bothered by small visitors, you better consider staying in another place. This place is literally right across the jungle.

Wow, what a stay! I had such a great time there. I ended up staying 5 nights at this peaceful place. Padma and her lovely family do everything to make you feel like a queen. Room was super clean and comfortable. And absolutely quiet at night. Please have your dinner at this place. It is amazing. Best I ever had during my 2 months in Sri Lanka. Cooked with love and quite cheap compared with outside food. They also serve huge breakfast.

It was a wonderful homestay. The host is a woman who has travelled as well and you can chitchat with her on the terrace. The room itself is basic but has everything needed. The bathroom is also basic but has hot water as well.

It's recommended to take a tuktuk to go back to the homestay due to the elephants. I went for food on the corner, which was lovely, and that was ok, but don't forget to take a flashlight for the way back as it gets pretty dark.

The place feels like grandma's cottage house, so cozy and nice )) good location, beatiful garden,, walkable distance to restaurants, shops, close to main sites. The host has got tuk tuk, so she can bring you. There are 4 dogs and 2 chicken pets! They create nice atmosphere))) Internet is there, but if you work a lot, you might need to top up the data. The family is very helpful and friendly 🙂

Nice house with garden full of flowers, perfect location - calm, but still close to downtown and to both rocks. The whole family Is so nice and helpful, that you feel like ať home. Great meal and tea, nice friendly talking, help and advices fór everything you need, that and much more Is Sigiri Lakshan Home, I can only recommend. For me very nice time.

The price of the stay is quite good given the facilities and the family is very sweet.

Wifi barely worked at all so if you don’t have a sim card this could be frustrating. Although the stay itself is cheap, everything else that’s an add-on is overpriced in my opinion especially the transportation extra food etc Considering prices in other parts of sri lanka

I loved everything about my stay here... From the kindness of the family, to the homemade meals, the garden and the room... My favourite stay during my trip in Sri Lanka. They can drive you around by tuktuk or scooter if you need, for a really good price. Would highly recommend. :)

The food reviews made us come to Padma’s house. It was definitely worth it ! Padma’s and her boys are lovely people, wiling to help you, and to discover their cultures ! It was a really nice experience to be with the family. Otherwise the place is clean and tidy, nice garden. It’s a bit outside the main center but super easily reachable with a moped. Padma was super helpful and smiley !

I had an amazing stay in Lakshan Home Stay, Padmona is a great person, she made me felt at home. It was a comfortable room. The family have a tuk tuk so they have the option to take you anywhere, also helping you arrange tours and give you advice on what to do. Also, Padmona cooks amazing, I highly recommend her options for dinner and overall staying there. Walking from the center is not too far.

Situated in a beautiful location in nature, Sigiri Lakshan is a very warm and welcoming family home. You will be greeted by many smiles and leave with happy memories. We enjoyed 2 nights here during which we ate Fatma's excellent cooking and had a house party! Amazing hosts, comfortable room, walkable to the bars and restaurants nearby
