1. I booked a family room, and it was very spacious!! Plenty of space for my luggage. Also there are racks, closets, even a minibar! 2. The room is new, everything so clean! It has AC, fan, and shower stuff. This is the only place that has shower curtain — if you stay longer in Sri Lank you will know how rare it is 😄 3. The balcony is very cute. 4. The owner’s family is so nice and friendly! They are always cleaning, making the garden super organized. 5. Location is also good, a short walk to main road. And in total 25 min walking to the Lion’s rock entrance, it is not that close but totally walkable.

Lovely clean room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast each morning was delicious, plentiful and a wide variety of dishes. We had the rice and curry from our hosts one evening which was very tasty. We were well supplied with beer ! The host is a tour guide and came with us to Lions Rock for a sunrise, he is very knowledgeable and we would recommend everyone who stays to explore the rock with him. The whole family are lovely, we had tuk tuk rides and a transfer onwards to Kandy all organized by the family. We even got to play cricket with the grand daughter on our last morning !! We highly recommend this Homestay.

Wonderful host - thoughtful, sincere and helpful. The room was great - everything works! And it is in a really lovely setting. Staying in Sigiriya can be a bit tricky as there isn't a commercial area with extensive shops etc nearby, but our host was always one step ahead in preparing amazing meals (cheaper than nearby restaurants), stocking the fridge with beer, and even chilling the glass before serving it! He is also a local guide, is well connected and regarded locally, and will do everything he can to make it all happen for you. A great place, a great host, and a great stay!

A large incredibly clean room, walking distance to restaurants, with tasty breakfast, fast WiFi and hot shower. Even better than the room was the hosts who could not have been more friendly or helpful. They use locally grown ingredients from their own property to make delicious food and were very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this property.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. They organised all our day trips with taxi/tuktuk transfers too. Breakfast was amazing, we stayed 4 nights and had something different every day. The place was very clean and perfect location.

We had a lovely stay. The host and his family are very welcoming and helped us to make the best of our time in Sigiriya. The homemade sri lankan food is very delicious (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The villa is very clean, well equipped, and located in a beautiful garden. The hosts pay great attention to details, which made us feel at home. We would come back anytime.

Lovely villa set in grounds of family house in well kept garden.. The host is super helpful, being a tour guide for Sigiriya, and has all the knowledge to help you get the most out of your time there. Recommended. The breakfast was freshly made and tasty. We had a good time, and would stay again. Value for money.

Perfect place. Very cozy clean separate house and area around. Large bedroom and bathroom. Everything is done with soul and comfort. Power outlets on each side of the bed, great fast wifi. The owner and his wife are kind, helpful and very friendly. The owner can suggest the route and share information. He saw a flat tire on a scooter and helped pump it up for us. Very tasty traditional breakfast. In addition, we asked to make us dinner. It was delicious.

This is the best place in Sigiriya! :) we stayed here for two nights and it had been one if our favourite places in Sri Lanka. We loved EVERYTHING about this place. Everyone should come here! Mori our host is the kindest sweetest man. He never stops making sure you are happy. the food (made by his lovely wife) is INCREDIBLE!!! The most wonderful home cooked Sri Lanka food. absolutely delicious and giant portions…they just want to make you happy they’re such a nice family! The bed was very comfortable, cute place with a nice hot shower and the gardens around the place are beautiful. Mori is also an experienced senior guide of 30 years and knows everything about Sigiriya Rock and the area. He can give you a guided tour if you want (doesn’t pressure at all though he’s so nice). we climbed both Sigiriya and Pidurangala with him and it was really worth it! we got so much more out of it that way. The place is an amazing value - Just book it now! you won’t regret it :)
